we wrote this song over a few weeks in the middle of
summer. it contains a paradox and to be honest we’re still in the process of discovering the nuances of meaning in it. I think that sometimes drifting can take you where you need to be,
other times it can take you to the open sea where your feet can’t touch the ground anymore. we hope you enjoy this existentialist pop song - big up Maurice Merleau-Ponty.

Never heard this group/artist before. Definitely has a late 2000s/early 2010s sound to it, I get some M83 and Empire Of The Sun vibes from it. Which is definitely a good thing as I really miss that sound, this song honestly feels nostalgic to me even though I just heard it for the first time. I'm definitely going to check out the rest of their music now.
