I saw you in Winter Park last weekend. I want you to know that this was a huge deal for me. Among other defects (wink) I have severe CPTSD and suffer from non-epileptic seizures when I experience anxiety (it's rare, it's called PNES). Here's what a mess I am- my psychiatrist's office is right by PULSE. You gotta just laugh. I haven't been to a live show in well over a decade. I am trying hard to come back to life right now, and leaving my house has to be part of it. You were the ones who finally gave me the fight to get up and go. I went by myself and a very nice bartender read me and saw I was wobbly and gave me a chair to sit against the wall in the back. I did get up, though, and creep into edge of the crowd, for BWBB. You were so good and the energy was so great that I cried. A little. So, thanks. Your cassettes are always with me in my car these days, the only place outside of my house, until your show, where I have felt free.

Just read the lyrics and let them sink in. I kept fooling myself giving my employer chances (alternatives=lose home, starve, kids go without dentist or shoes). But eventually I thought maybe its me? I'll PROVE myself work harder longer more! But no, that's when I realized I'd spent my life being a fool and investing my life and emotion into this black-hole...it made me angry and I took it home, felt misunderstood and worthless. And then...the energy has been sucked out! I was burned out. I did not give a damn anymore...about anything really...and I fooled myself again and made a mistake because it made me feel valued, when everything else felt lost. But all it did was lose me more, but it learned me something...maybe anyway...maybe more than I can think I can handle sometimes. Thanks M and P for doing this song and making music. Gives me hope.

I work the night shift at a small shipping facility, it’s only me and a few other guys. We mostly all keep to ourselves which is fine with me because I just listen to my books or playlists most of the night. Someone might think it’s a lonely place but to me it’s a real vibe when I am listening to a whole softcult album while I’m there. Sometimes I’ll stand outside on my break while rocking out to you guys and just breathe the night air and stare up at the sky. It’s quite a feeling. I actually saw you guys when you came to my city, and I’m looking forward to seeing you again. So keep up the great work!!!
