I honestly prefer those "time's ticking, world's in danger, maximum threat but we'll use a theme you can also dance to" themes, they sound so much more intense than OWA. Seymour, Necron, most boss themes before VII, The problem is that OWA set the standard for "this is my final form" bosses and everybody's doing it now. It can't be epic if you don't have a choir apparently. Also, FromSoftware. Finally I realise that those tracks I like all have heavy drums in them.
I'm honestly not sure it will be possible for the fight to live up to its legacy. But if anyone can pull it off, it's the people who are working on the Remake series.

Don’t be like others that I’ve warned who did not heed that warning and whose channels were terminated, it feels like a personal grudge against use of their OG stuff from what I’ve seen. They could care less about Enix properties.

The last fight with Sephiroth better live up to the leyend. Music has to be spot on and the fight needs to be long and challenging
