Theft of Swords I really recommend Ghost Hunt as an anime for you to watch, I think you'll really get into it.

It's sooooo good! I'm sure you would like it 😊 I'm usually not a huge sports fan myself but that show omg, I can't stop watching it! 😍
If you love political fantasy, you should pick up The Empire Trilogy by Raymond E. Feist and Janny Wurts. That's basically one big, political, strategy game. This goes for battleground strategy as well as a whole lot of people who try to best one another and eradicate one another in the 'Game of the Council'. The characters are great and I have never seen such a complex political system in fantasy ever before.

HunterxHunter is probably my favourite anime! So bingeworthy. Does anyone else not say the “x” in it though like “Hunter Hunter”. It sounds weird to hear “Hunter ex Hunter” but I realised it’s so strange that the x is silent 😂
A book I finished recently that I think you would love is The Philosopher's Flight by Tom Miller. It is a little bit magic, a little bit science, and a little bit alternate history. But I was absolutely hooked on the story, and the characters were so cool. Also, the sequel--The Philosopher's War--will be out in July, so I feel like it would be a great time to start this series.

@@froncifresh I've read His Dark Materials a few times since childhood. They are great. I need to reread them again. I'd recommend Foundryside by Robert Jackson Bennett, or my main go-to recommendation is Colorworld by Rachel E. Kelly.

You aren't supposed to hang sweaters. But I hang mine inside out so they poke in instead of out and aren't noticable 😁
