    So yeah, I have watched pretty much all of your videos. Nice install and documentation on it! I am excited to get working on mine in the coming months! That thing looks like it shifts nice and drives great!

    I don't know how The underside looks but you should have had that welded to 4 more rest prevention moisture can possibly get in now

      absolutely correct, the best way is to have any seems welded to prevent future rust.

    You should do a top speed run with your Chevelle with your 6 speed.

    I realize you have moved on to a new rear-end but out of curiosity, what rear-end gears were you running when you made this video? Good series by the way. I really like your work and sense of project adventure. Bravo!

      3.31s. They were actually a wonderful gear ratio with the T56 for cruising. I have a lot of low end torque and the engine would be okay with highway loads and sustained rpm's below 1500 rpm. Thanks for the comments!

    Out of curiosity, how much of a difference did you notice with the thermal barrier?

      Big difference. Pretty much burned my feet without it, no issues once installed. Especially with carpet down too.
