I got myself an AMD Ryzen 7800X3D and a Radeon 7900XT with 32GB of RAM, pretty happy cuz it's chewed through just about everything I've thrown at it, from gaming to 3D renders
Currently My CPU is prolly the oldest part in my PC since last year as I changed the brand from Nvidia to AMD for better Linux Compatibility. But the CPU in Question is a 3900X and got that thing brand new. I am so close to being 5 years out of the 10 years I told myself to stick with my build (for the most part) and I've really did consider upgrading because of my CPU prolly Bottlenecking it. But eh oh well, It's actually still a very fast PC and processes things like a Champ even though there's now CPUs that's 3x as fast now. But as a user that have used Hard Drives for most of my time til like 5 years ago, A computer will last a VERY long time. And with Graphics and stuff hitting a ceiling in terms of how far we've come, Right now is a great time to get into PC building.
CPU - AMD 5950X | GPU - Sapphire 7800XT NITRO | RAM - 64GB Corsair 3600 RAM | MB - Asus X570 Strix-E | Case - Lian Li 011 Mini | AIO - Arctic Liquid Freezer 3 280 | SSDs 2TB Crucial P3 Plus, 2TB Inland Plus | Other Storage - quite a few SATA ssds & a 10TB & 4TB HDD. I mainly use my PC for Ableton Live, Davinci Resolve & the Affinity Suite. Also according to Gamer's Nexus most Adobe product work best on AMD now. Premiere is the only hold out because of quicksync but it's insanely close. I honestly don't think anyone could tell the difference between a 9800X3D and a 14900K if they didn't know which was which in any program or game.
Damn that’s some rig! I had no idea about amd and adobe now. And I don’t think anyone can truly tell unless they’re running benchmarks on everything lol
@@JerryMeehanJr Thank you and also I appreciate your videos. Don't let the snobby enthusiasts get to you. 90% of us appreciate videos like this. Spreading the good word of the PC.
I buy a lot of used pc parts (I build PCs to sell on) and I hate modular power supplies, because people always seem to somehow lose the cables they aren't using
dude micro center is having sales for black friday i already have 32gs of ddr5 but the kind i have is on sale for $100 now idk if 64g is killing it lol
my pc prolly gonna have a 4060 or 7600 in it cuz imo 8gb is enough for me I'll get me a gaming laptop so that I can wait for the bigger picture cause idk what imma have on my next upgrade lol I'll probably go amd cuz It's cheaper lol
Lmao it took me 1.5 years to build my pc since I bought parts one by one but I still good pretty great deals so I think its all good, plus I use this for streaming to my switch for playing many games so I say its pretty much worth it if you already have a handheld so you can play many games even away from your desk
@JerryMeehanJr BSODs, for one. If you've updated your motherboard's BIOS to the latest version, it should come with the settings to prevent degradation by default
The 3070 aka 70s part are not in the middle they are enthousiast/hight end. SSD aren't only sticks. SSDs are not all equal, you kinda need DRAM cache for a boot drive (where you are putting your OS) Your mother board shouldn't stop you from using a future graphics card like a 5070 but you know what will stop you ? space in your case check that your case have room to spare. GPU suppoort bracket if your gpu is big is a necessity. Futurproofing is kinda a dream you can ensure upgradability tho for example on your mother board it's better to have room for additional ramstick later so you can just buy more of the same ram if needed and add capacity. on the Power supply "80 plus " indicate a level of efficiency it also is used as a minimal safety guard against burning your house down since the component needed to attain the minimum rating of 80 plus bronze SHOULD ensure that your power supply dosn't catch fire. There is so much more to add. If your goal is to inform people please redirect them to someone more competent in this like linus tech tips or gamer nexus. (or steal their advice)
@JerryMeehanJr tbf there is alot of stuff you should of mentioned especially stuff about the power supply. Alot of new PC builders make the mistake of picking the wrong power supply.

Amd 7 and 3070 . Im Mid 😂 pc ram is key to animate and render. I have no wifi. I connect straight to modem

Can you make a 950-960 usd for fps and cpu based games with the 7700xt thanks.
Is your 13700k degraded at all?
To my knowledge no but how would I tell?
@JerryMeehanJr BSODs, for one. If you've updated your motherboard's BIOS to the latest version, it should come with the settings to prevent degradation by default
@interrobangings I haven’t done that in a long time I’ll have to look into it
@JerryMeehanJr It's pretty painless nowadays. There should be instructions on your manufacturer's website that should help
@interrobangings awesome thank you! Yea the whole process to build it was fairly easy
The 3070 aka 70s part are not in the middle they are enthousiast/hight end.

@corbinallen4562 yes that’s why I mentioned to google it and there’s a wattage calculator online!
lol 3000 aint enough for the best
