I think 1/8 is better than 1/5, even with 1/8 you run out of room real quick to be able to stop safely.
The MT2+ is 1/7 and is almost same size as the Xmaxx which is supposed to be 1/5
The weight difference is almost 2KGs when the MT2+ has batteries installed compared to the dry weight of the Xmaxx, the Arrma is heavier again.
1/5 are fun, I used to run a 1/5 Baja electric, it just became cumbersome and was actually pretty dangerous to drive, all that metal.
When you can get a 4S 1/8 to do 75 kph but need 8S to get the same speed in 1/5, it really doesn't make much sense.
That's why the MT2+ at almost the same size can be quicker on 6S due to less weight.
Either way, doesn't matter what you have, just go and enjoy it.

Oh, that's really nice! I need to learn more about center diffs, so it was interesting to see this one with it stiffened up. I bought 50k for my Inferno, but I'm thinking I might need to go buy something thicker, maybe even 200k. Right now it struggles to keep its nose up when jumping... What do you reckon? You have the Inferno, any advice?
Anyway, I see you got some more Typhon videos up, I think I'll check them out, have a great weekend, mate!

      Thank you !
Ok so personally for my "racing" type buggies i keep the oils very light .... 7k front 10k centre 5k rear , thats what i run in my tlr , kyosho inferno and even lighter in my Team Associated..... its makes them far better for handling.... this typhon truggy because i use it soley for bashing and being rough i use 50k front earplug centre and 30k rear ..... if you are finding you cant pull up your nose maybe go an extra tooth in pinion size ?
Thanks again friend for watching 🔥🙂🤘🏻

@@kaosr.c Thanks mate! Maybe I'll just stick to pouring in that 50k to the center then, see how it goes...
I had not thought about changing pinion size... I know the Inferno is unreasonably undergeared, so I know I have to at some point, so I'll try that also...
      Thanks for the advice!
