I have never played with mine on concrete or regular dirt. It's a lot of fun with paddles at the Glamis dunes with the Typhon using a max 6 and 8s. I need to convert it back to stock and try this. Subscribed & liked.
Hey doctor! Im local to you :) know that park well! I just got a typhon and was wondering how you dealt with that mess of battery cables/capacitors plugs etc. needs some tidying! Anyway, thanks for the content! -Reid
Theyre great for flips and air control but they do grip a little too much in grass and it flips over. They also balloon like crazy. I have since gone with proline badland buggy wheels. Best of both worlds
Not if using just bash it chassis. It does not taper in the rear. And no need for side guards on a typhon with this chassis. Body sits perfect in chassis with no gap.
You will pull wheelies and roll over from the extra grip rather then cut thru the grass. I went back to proline buggy wheels and it’s perfect for me. I love tearing up grass haha

Yo this thing is flipping insane. Is that just bc of the tires?
Yes the tires are heavy and spin this thing around like nothing. Completely changes the car.
@@nashtytracks damn are these even the belted ones?
@@niko1622 no
Hey brotha sick video. What all do I need to run the mx28’s on my typhon 6s
Hey are those the 2mm hub extenders or the 5mm, and do you have to use the cvd ends to trugify it? Thanks
No extenders. Kraton/ notorious hubs and cvd ends
@@nashtytracks thanks
@@nashtytracks Hey, do you have to buy the hexes if you have the typhon 6s? The 6s comes with 17mm hexes i believe. Correct me if I'm wrong. Thanks
@@martez752 yes both are 17mm but the kraton hex’s give about 1-2mm of extra spacing.

I usually use the factory wire clips and also hold the battery connectors with the horizontal battery strap. Also zip ties can help
Which hex hub did you put on the typhon to make the proline mx28 fit? I try to find some extended hex hubs but cant find any.. ☹️
What gearing for your truggy typhon ?
16 pinion and 50 spur. Max8 2200 combo
@@nashtytracks 😬Yh and what’s heat like after 6s bash such as shown here Thanks
@@gonzodetroitify it gets warm but not hot. Full throttle passes and aggressive driving i have to be careful
When the first Senton 6s came out, after my 3rd pair of arms I emailed RPM requesting them to make the upgrades. Still waiting...... 🤬
I recently switched to Mojave exb arms axles and hubs. Still the same stance but twice as thick arms
@@nashtytracks Really? Cool I was wondering if they fit. Thanks Ill finally get an upgrade for the annoying stock arms 🙂.
What kind of diff fluid are you using? Seems to pull wheelies effortlessly
30k front and rear. 500k center. The mx28s grip a ton, almost too much for my liking. Buggy wheels don’t wheelie at all
@@nashtytracks Ah thanks for the info. Have you considered the Badlands MX M2 buggy wheels instead? Seems like a good inbetween from the mx28 wheels.
@@FrankkMedia yup! That’s currently what I’m running. It is the perfect tire for it
You love the 2.8 prolines on this rig?

@@nashtytracks ok cool, i will look up the badland buggy wheels. Cool vid man!
@@phillybrc thank you!
This thing is an animal, i want one. SUBBED!
I agree guys. Send email to RPM 💪
Would the sideguard on the chassis interfere if u put a longer motor?
Not if using just bash it chassis. It does not taper in the rear. And no need for side guards on a typhon with this chassis. Body sits perfect in chassis with no gap.
Is it easier on the grass, with the wider wheels? I was thinking about putting on wide wheels as a way of not tearing up the grass as much

nice bash w the typhon...what esc/motor/pinion are u using?...
Hobbywing max 8 with 2200kv on 15t pinion. Clocked 64mph. Does get a little hot when ripping around in the grass
So are these Mojave arms then?
Kraton hubs, axle stubs and hex’s. Gives about 1inch wider stance.
