There are no similarity between this guy and Pavarotti. I don't usually like so easily. And also you can find me on the youtube comments easily, crushing people due to their stupid comments like yours. However I have to admit that he has a velvet voice that I like a lot but this is not even close to Pavarotti's any performance. He has long way to go.
Absolutely can take over the World of Opera and sweep it back up to the days of Caruso, Pavarotti & Domingo!! It's amazing it took 30 years after Caruso's death to get Lanza, who died so quickly he never was able to perform on stage. About 10 years +/- later we got Pavarotti & Domingo. Since Pavarotti there hasn't been anyone I've truly loved until Spyres came along. He magnificent and will breathe new life into Opera & Solo Performances as Pavarotti did. He's incredibly talented and has a GORGEOUS Voice!! When they start to refer to one by last name only and others immediately know who one is speaking about, you know for sure you're going to the TOP!!
yeah .... a "long way to go" happens all da time at the VERAILLES OPERA HOUSE < > when he can belt out the singing frog via ONE FROGGY EVENING, THEEENNN ,he be jammin, maaaan
Cordialmente 👌👍🇪🇸🌿
"A single secret tear from her eye did spring: as if she envied all the youths that laughingly passed her by. What more searching need I do? What more searching need I do? She loves me! Yes, she loves me, I see it. I see it. For just an instant the beating of her beautiful heart I could feel! As if my sighs were hers, and her sighs were mine! The beating, the beating of her heart I could feel, to merge my sighs with hers... Heavens! Yes, I could die! I could ask for nothing more, nothing more. Oh, heavens! Yes, I could, I could die! I could ask for nothing more, nothing more. Yes, I could die! Yes, I could die of love."
He has a beautiful tone. This song is so strongly linked to Pavarotti's genius that it must feel incredibly intimidating for current artists to do. This was an incredibly competitive interpretation!
He's more suited to tenor roles despite him having good low notes. I love Michael Spyres and all, but he's imperfect of course. He could do fine in baritone roles if he didn't sing woofy when trying to sing baritone.
I like him not or not overly covering the higher notes , like many other tenors do. Sounds more natural and exciting for me. How free as a singer he feels show the little Rossini elements he weaved in and are not part of the score.....😀
Quizás lejanamente a Gigli, o quizás Vanzo.
Get thee to a studio..away from audiences and their noises. There needs to be a substantial moment of silence after the last note is played. There is a good reason. It has to do with the vibrations in the air that remain after the music stops. The music is still radiating outward, outward and it needs a space of silence to move into. The cacophonous beating of hands, the rowdy applause, beats it back and obliterates the afterglow that is absolutely necessary for the FULLEST enjoyment of the music. The music needs to be surrounded by silence. That way, it can be heard better. It's like clearing the palate between courses at dinner. At the end of a piece, the audience should hold back their enthusiasm for a few seconds. Let the music melt away.\.
Caruso, Gigli, Pavarotti, all in one. Magnificent!!

Some imperfections....and no feeling
@@someone.06 ...and your comment was no less stupid. Pav had a long way to go to come close to Fielding Melish.
Not Caruso's level nor Gigli's nor Pavarotti's. Spyres is good, don't get me wrong, but I don't think he's on Pavarotti's level lol.
@@rafaellmata6083 No feeling... for real... and curious what imperfections you found.
I've been listening to videos of Michael Spyres for several days. I truly love his voice.. very nice.
Finally a tenor to carry the legacy. Just gorgeous.
I fully agree. He worked on his change of voice for years!

Beautiful voice but still he has long way to go. Average performance.

@@gennarojg3we still have Aragall so appreciate him now when he’s still alive!
This guy ...you will be surprised...doesn't define himself as a Tenor but a baritone... Yes. He is just a Genius that can sing both. He is marvelous
Correction: a baritenor. And quite rightly so. Beautiful interpretation by the orchestra as well.
A baritenor actually
He is just tenor who sometimes pretends he is baritone. Commercial idea.
I'm pretty sure he has said himself he's a low tenor. And indeed he is a tenor. But at least we can both agree he's a good singer :)
What an exceptional singer Michael Spyres is!-
And what an wonderful performance of Donizettis opera this is!
Époustouflant, d'une perfection touchante. Sublime ! Merci monsieur Spyres
Even if I don't know the lyrics, his rendition takes me to that place of joy.
Immense artiste, la voix, la technique la sensibilité ET la musicalité ! merci !
The beauty of his voice gives me chills.
I recently came to find out about him such a pleasure to the ear and joy to the heart ❤
Me too, Love his voice.

Interprétation totale... Sublime
Il est extraordinaire ! Un chant d’une rare élégance . Bravo
Such a sweet,beautiful,effortless voice
What a very beautiful voice. Great fantastic voice control. It's as hearing Pavarotti again.
Simply beautiful
con quanto sentimento ha cantato questa romanza. Eccellente
This man's singing makes many a furtive tear.
He is fantastic!!
The old school, bravo 👏
OUTSTANDING voice, really beautiful. WOW !.
In tune! That's what matters to me the most.
They love Michael in France!!
Che voce stupenda!!!
Wonderful singing.
Divinely beautiful ❣
listened three times. Still crying.
So will listen at least five more times.
Try to listen to Michael singing "Se il mio paterno amore" from Siroe, re di Persia.Absolutely terrific!
That gorgeous spill of notes from octave to octave . . . mind altering!
He is the real deal.
Rodica: Stunning voice, from baritone to lyric tenor and even rossinian tenor!
Wide tessitura and various colors...
Bah. Some imperfections

BRAVO❤❤❤❤❤

Excellent singing from this Lyric tenor, even with some of his interpolated singing of the music .

No, on the Pavarotti comparison. Not in the same choo-choo train…
No pavarotti but great
Parecido su timbre de voz al Pavarotti
