Picking Blackberries On The Homestead

- Today were preparing the areas with the brush hog to pick wild blackberries. I like to mow around these areas to help us spot snakes easier and keep the chiggers and ticks at bay. These berry's we use around the farm for cobblers, jellies, and jams. These little fruits are my favorite berries grown wild.
