Welcome to Miami IA, it's really big AK, thanks for the update on this important airport of the South....no flight to Asian airports these are mostly done through LA, San Francisco & New York ....cheers from Kuala Lumpur Malaysia 🇲🇾
Loved the video thanks so much. Years ago my wife and I went on our honeymoon and because we are Canadian we went early to international terminal. They were redoing everything so we should have done something all day. Would love to go back and check it out again. I love anywhere in Florida
I'm a Floridian, but I haven't been to the Miami airport in years since I live much closer to the Orlando airport. What shocked me was those luggage carts cost $8.00 to rent? That's shocking!
Where I live, they cost only 4 AUD (2.6 USD), but that is just outside security. Inside security, they are free. In most countries, they are free. USA just loves making money. Just imagine if they charge you for using the toilet. This is normal in Europe, South America, and Africa.
It was nice to see Miami International Airport once again , it’s been awhile since i was there 🙂But it looks very nice so , thank you for showing us this AK 👍!!!
Woohoo for another airport walkthrough! The International Arrivals section looks much better and more spacious with the high ceiling compared to the Domestic Departures section. 19:23 This "BESAME MUCHO" art piece really caught my attention. I read there are 3 other phrases displayed in other areas of the airport, very welcoming! 😍 Thank you for sharing this informative video of the Miami International Airport, AK! 🤗🛬🛫
Thanks for the tour of the airport it's nicely designed. Not sure about the $8.00 charge for a luggage trolley . But it has everything and a hotel excellent. So happy you got to make this very interesting video Kenneth it helps in many ways. 😀
use to go to the Miami Airport to go towards the country of Panama plus Costa Rica I'm from central California sorry for any misspells or mistakes in spelling.
Nice video...I've been to that airport 5 times since 2019...I didn't notice or maybe I missed it but you should have went on the shuttle that takes you to the car rental center which is on the other side of the airport..it is a nice 5 min ride...you get great views of the airport, airplanes and the surrounding communities...the car rental center is huge...its also a nice walk from the carousel area to get the shuttle..
We’re flying in to here on Christmas Eve with American and only have 45mins to make our next flight. Hopefully we make it and our flight into Maimi isn’t delayed. 🙏🏻
great video! I just came from MIA after getting back from California on Monday. MIA is currently averaging flight activity more than their record breaking 2019 year. I will say SFO in San Francisco is much better and cleaner than MIA. I just came back and was pleased by SFO. This coming weekend for July 4th is about to be VERY crazy
I wished the entire airport was connected post security. D & E are connected post security and H & J are connected post security. They need to build a post security connecting walkway between concourses E, F, G and H to make it easier for both employees and passengers. TSA should consider creating a combined F & G security checkpoint on level 2 so people can clear security on the same level where the ticket counters are located.
AK did you know that the Miami Airport has an art director? As far as I know she is still there. She is a wonderful artist who curates all the art you see. More on their web site.
I once slept at this airport for up to 40 hours last year without ever leaving security. Unfortunately, I was only able to access concourses D and E as not all the concourses are interconnected. I was lucky no one caught me considering I had to sleep for 2 nights.
Emirates flies to Asia! Dubai! Qatar Airways also flies to Doha in Asia. I think you probably meant the Far East of Asia. Most Asian people I know in Miami usually fly Qatar to Doha and connect to the Far East. Thanks for sharing, as always!! 🙏
I was looking at Miami International Airport on Google Maps and noticed the railroad tracks that circle the western, southern and eastern sides of the airport complex. Are there any other airports in the US that are surrounded by railroad lines?
Just checked. Artist Yolanda Sanchez who was Art and Cultural Director at Miami Airport has left. But is teaching and actively exhibiting her beautiful paintings.
It is surprising that so many parts of the airport look dark with low lighting. The Fort Lauderdale Hollywood FL airport has a lot more natural and artificial lighting.
If i buy an Easy Ticket for about 30$ for 7 days, will i be able to ride the complete Metrobus Line 150, Line 120 from Government Center to Aventura Mall and Line 207/208 the Little Havana Connection as many times i like? Or will it cost more?
Miami is the gateway to Latin America & South America as well as the Carrebean. Europe is also connected very good. Nearly every European carrier flies to Miami. If you look for a gateway to Asia you have to go to LAX. Not Miami.
As an airport geek.....I'll answer the question about seating. They want you to feel compelled to go through security and make use of the retail establishments that bring in lots of money for the airport. It's no accident...they really want people to wander towards the money-making part of the terminal.
I've been to both MIA and Orlando International. I'd say Miami seems busier because of the high volume of passengers from Central America, South America, and Europe/western Asia. I've seen Orthodox Jewish tourists at MIA waiting to board El Al in the South Terminal when dropping off a family friend there. But you're correct, Orlando International is busier due to tourists coming in due to...what else? Disney World, not to mention students from a lot of colleges in and outside of Orlando (Univ of Central Florida, Univ of Florida, Valencia College, Flagler College, etc.).
Florida can't run flights to Asia instead we do a hopper system as usually those flights go to LA or san fran then they go to asia. its just how it is. Europe and Latin america is fine just not asia
Actually, Miami has flights to Israel, United Arab Emirates, Jordan, Egypt and Saudi Arabia. But to go to Japan or China, you'll need to connect to another flight in London or Paris, or San Francisco or Los Angeles.
You're in Miami!!! Welcome to Latin America. I'm a little disappointed by the aesthetics of this airport. Most look like luxurious malls, this one more like a Walmart. Or a rundown department store.
@C Munoz, not in the North Terminal, where American Airlines are situated at MIA. Once you get past the security, you'd be amazed by the North Terminal - it looks more like a mall than an airport terminal. There's a huge rotund skylight in that terminal. Also inside that terminal there is a Skytrain that takes you from one end to the other end of the terminal. Getting to your gate from security...OMG....it takes about, oh, a good 20, 30 minutes. That's why there's a Skytrain in the North Terminal.
miami international has a side you don't see. its one of the busiest cargo centers in the world. every thing gets into miami and serves the entire southeast. you see dogs around as they are sniffer dogs hunting drug smugglers or contraband food. They just caught drug smugglers a week ago trying to bring in cocaine via farming machine part crates. you honestly never know what's going on there just that they are a line of defense.
This is so helpful for people with travel anxiety. Seeing the airport before arriving. Thanks!
Welcome to Miami IA, it's really big AK, thanks for the update on this important airport of the South....no flight to Asian airports these are mostly done through LA, San Francisco & New York ....cheers from Kuala Lumpur Malaysia 🇲🇾
Very cool! Good to know most of the Asian flights are processed through the other airports
Miami airport looking clean and neat. Nice video. Thanks for sharing.
Thanks AK for walking around at the Airport watched that video tonight !appreciated!! 😍
Loved the video thanks so much. Years ago my wife and I went on our honeymoon and because we are Canadian we went early to international terminal. They were redoing everything so we should have done something all day. Would love to go back and check it out again. I love anywhere in Florida
Welcome to Miami IA, it's getting exciting an I am booked a airline ticket an get ready to catch the flight down to California very soon today.
Great Video. This is one of my favorite airports!
Hi Action kid! Awesome walking around miami airport! I enjoyed watching :D
Glad you enjoyed it
I work here now. It is an overwhelming experience and easy to get lost.
I got lost in here once - watching this was a much more relaxing experience!! Haha. Great job :)
Wow a lot has really changed. First and last time I’ve been to MIA since 2001. Leaving the airport was complete hell.
Merci pour votre vidéo, nous partons pour Miami le mois prochain. ça nous à permis de nous repérer en arrivant
Thank you for video. It's very helpful for me.
thanks as always for the video
I always enjoy watching your videos💚💚💚💚

I loved seeing all the sections of this airport The International Arrivals area was much nicer than the others
12:03 Brazilians...they're everywhere...even at the airport's loudspeaker😅
It has really changed since my last visit to Miami.
Wow, I wonder what it used to look like before
My favorite memory of Miami's airport was their delicious Cuban coffee! ☕
Amazing view
Thanks for the tour of the airport it's nicely designed. Not sure about the $8.00 charge for a luggage trolley . But it has everything and a hotel excellent. So happy you got to make this very interesting video Kenneth it helps in many ways. 😀
Good to see this Miami International Airport through your eyes! I hope there is a Part 2 as you didn't walk upstairs
use to go to the Miami Airport to go towards the country of Panama plus Costa Rica I'm from central California sorry for any misspells or mistakes in spelling.
It's a huge airport!
You the king of miami!
Yoru videos are so good ❤
I will come to miami
Nice video...I've been to that airport 5 times since 2019...I didn't notice or maybe I missed it but you should have went on the shuttle that takes you to the car rental center which is on the other side of the airport..it is a nice 5 min ride...you get great views of the airport, airplanes and the surrounding communities...the car rental center is huge...its also a nice walk from the carousel area to get the shuttle..
Yes, I was able to take that shuttle! It's very efficient
Muito bom com tradutor. Sou brasileira 🇧🇷👏🏻
Greetings from Poland :)
Hello, there are flights to Asia from MIA but normally those are red eye flights, keep it up greetings from Costa Rica🇨🇷
We’re flying in to here on Christmas Eve with American and only have 45mins to make our next flight. Hopefully we make it and our flight into Maimi isn’t delayed. 🙏🏻
I am going to Ontario, CA today
morning everyone in Miami! 🤓❣️😉💚🤗💛😘🧡
From Texas.🤓❣️😉💚🤗💛😘
Wow cool , a hotel in the airport.
great video!

Clark went to this airport and liked it!

AK did you know that the Miami Airport has an art director? As far as I know she is still there. She is a wonderful artist who curates all the art you see. More on their web site.
They have alot more shops and restaurants then most airports
Is there any plans of expansion at the Airport?
It would definitely be helpful to know how to get to South Beach for 2.45!!
Yes, you'll see it soon
Take the train (3rd floor) to the rent a car station, from there take the 150 bus to Miami Beach.
You should do one arriving at West Palm Beach and take the Brightline high speed rail to Miami
I once slept at this airport for up to 40 hours last year without ever leaving security. Unfortunately, I was only able to access concourses D and E as not all the concourses are interconnected. I was lucky no one caught me considering I had to sleep for 2 nights.

I will come to Miami next week from Kuala Lumpur through qatar.
@@asyadi84 WELCOME to Miami! BIEVENNIDO a Miami!
How long would you say the walk from North Terminal to South Terminal is? Any other option to get from North terminal to South terminal check in?
I was looking at Miami International Airport on Google Maps and noticed the railroad tracks that circle the western, southern and eastern sides of the airport complex. Are there any other airports in the US that are surrounded by railroad lines?
Dubai, UAE is the furthest you can go from Miami nonstop ( it was on the departure board when you looked at all the flights )
A lot of people travel to Miami to go on the cruise ships to the Caribbean and Mexico.
Seating is only in the areas where people wait for arriving passengers, but not in the departure areas.
Just checked. Artist Yolanda Sanchez who was Art and Cultural Director at Miami Airport has left. But is teaching and actively exhibiting her beautiful paintings.
Spent 16 hours delayed here when I was touring the US in 2011 flying to New Orleans on AA due to their fuel plant blowing up.
Kenneth,Are you heading back to New York City for a few days?
It is surprising that so many parts of the airport look dark with low lighting. The Fort Lauderdale Hollywood FL airport has a lot more natural and artificial lighting.
Also is it possible to walk from D to E without the skytrain ?
Going there soon to connect to the UK
19:13 LED array
Nice video tour AK! You should do a tour of FLL next which is also just as busy as MIA
Yes, I should give it a visit too!
Can i buy tickets mia to laguardia inside this airport???and pls explain me the immigration process for domestic travel(mia-laguardia)?????please rply
since I go to the same airport and literally the same date and time, I saw myself lol (not showing my face)
Hi AK. The South Terminal is the newest part of the airport. That is why it’s nicer.
If i buy an Easy Ticket for about 30$ for 7 days, will i be able to ride the complete Metrobus Line 150, Line 120 from Government Center to Aventura Mall and Line 207/208 the Little Havana Connection as many times i like? Or will it cost more?
yes
Thanks! Just been there one week and it worked.
The Cuban empanadas are delicious.
what happen to delta
Delta is still serving Miami. It's in the South Terminal, typically in Concourse H.
💕

TSA Screening Checkpoint to checked baggage claim an I am getting a boarding pass.
I think Orlando international is busier
Orlando is #7, Miami is #10. Atlanta is the biggest.
I've been to both MIA and Orlando International. I'd say Miami seems busier because of the high volume of passengers from Central America, South America, and Europe/western Asia. Most long haul airplanes couldn't make it from the east coast of the U.S. to eastern Asia.
why did I think the two guys dubbing each other were the ones talking🤦♂
Why are you in the airport, are you going somewhere
American Airlines have no direct flights to Asia. There are other airlines at the other end of the curcle.
People act more CIVILIZED than JFK.
❤️
no ticket for flight
hi i Volcano
Edit ONG THANKS FOR SO MANY LIKES!!!!!!!!!!!
I hope i dont get lost😢
Florida can't run flights to Asia instead we do a hopper system as usually those flights go to LA or san fran then they go to asia. its just how it is. Europe and Latin america is fine just not asia
They can but only western Asia ( Israel, Jordan, Middle East ) for eastern Asia ( China, Japan, S Korea etc... ) you are right they can't
Actually, Miami has flights to Israel, United Arab Emirates, Jordan, Egypt and Saudi Arabia. But to go to Japan or China, you'll need to connect to another flight in London or Paris, or San Francisco or Los Angeles.
I never use aeroplane
if you landed miami can you see mickinly and jack dorhety please
if your can you see mickinly and jack dorherty
I fly mostly into Fort Lauderdale it's cheaper
JFK. And. LAX. ARE. BUSIER
You're in Miami!!! Welcome to Latin America. I'm a little disappointed by the aesthetics of this airport. Most look like luxurious malls, this one more like a Walmart. Or a rundown department store.

I can see that, it's a very important center for cargo
officey
If I had a nickel for every time i was in that airport…
You should learn how to pronounce the words “Marine Corpse”.
