I feel like I was talking too much here, and maybe I'll focus more on listening in the future 😌 But trust me, I hear the songs more than my own voice! Absolutely stunning in every way! 🔥
The one that rapped is Young k, the one that u reacted the solos. Congratulations is the only mv that they are 6, after that Junhyeok left the band, they stay as 5 until the hiatus for military and in this period Jae left, now they are currently 4, there isnt a comeback as 4 yet. About the 2 members that left, well Junhyeok was a controversy that still kind unsure, it was put in public like a dating scandal with a fan, but we dont know how much of this is true, Jae for the other hand, he had a lot of problems because he wanted more freedom in the solos activities and his personal stuffs like the lives he did and his TH-cam channel that made he not renew his contract, but inicially he was still in the band, just not renew as solo with JYP, but after that he was envolved in many controversies in the internet and he left the band as well, either way u can search for more info, but they are not that clear. U can easily recognize them by their instrument, it goes like this:
Sungjin - Guitar, Leader ( In this 3 MVs u reacted he is in the center, but later they change and the drummer is in the center)
Jae - Lead Guitar ( The one with glasses, but in more recent mvs he dropped the glasses haha)
Young K - Bass ( Is the one u reacted, and is in the charge of most of the raps, but later the rap decreased)
Junhyeok - Piano ( Was in the band only in the first mini album )
Wonpil - Synthesizer, Piano ( After Junhyeok left, he took the piano role plus the synth)
Dowoon - Drums ( HE IS DRUM)
They all can sing, so there not vocals role.

So for now, I guess Young K is my favourite 😄 Too bad they decreased the rap though, truly loved it. But I understand how others find it doesn't fit with the style, but I love the contrast it gives.
I didn't really want to go into controversies more online, since most of the info is just people making rumours, so thanks for letting me know what might be going on. I'm so tired of the industry not letting the artists tell the truth even after they leave.. don't know what you can trust.

The rapper that you like is Young K! Early in their debut, Young K usually included rap in their song but ever since everyDAY6 project he or DAY6 rarely included rap in their song bcs originally they all are recruited as a vocalist (and Young K said he favors singing more). But once in a blue moon he might kinda rap in their song haha (they wrote their song themselves, so up to them I guess haha).
They are currently a 4 member group right now as Jae (now eaJ) left the group in Dec 2021.
The second one you always mention is Wonpil, a keyboardist! He will discharge from military next month and as the last member that will be discharge, DAY6 will complete by Dec 2023!!
All of the member pass the audition into jype as vocalist except Dowoon (the drummer), as he the only one pass the audition solely bcs of his drummer skill.
Also, I wait is the first mv (release in January 2017) that started their everyDAY6 project! EveryDAY6 project is a year long project in which they release 2 song every month (digital release - title track and a b-side), an mv for title track, concert every month till December 2017! They release an album containing all song from Jan to June in Sunrise album (official comeback, music show promotion and stuff) and song from july to dec in moonrise album (also official comeback and all music promotion stuff).
There are reports (news articles) saying DAY6 will start to gear up / being active starting Dec 2023!!!!!!!
Additional info; except Sungjin (the leader) all of DAY6 member that went to military debut as a soloist, release album (Young K and Wonpil) and digital single(Dowoon) - before they went to they military as a gift to the fans.

About Jae... I will just say that there is a lot of "he said" things out there, but we never got to hear the side of the other members or the agency (and I doubt we will since they also kept quiet about the 1st member who left), so... yeah, I guess just take note of that. I don't think that gets in the way of anyone's enjoyment of his solo music or Day6 music when he was still a member. Looking forward to the next installment. Good luck on exams!

There were 6 members from the beginning, but one of them left right after the debut. And now Jae (Eaj) also left. In all Day6 MV's except "congratulations" there are 5 members. There's any full band MV's (just a sub-unit) after Jae left. All members went to the military and now just started their activity one by one
The one who was rapping is the same member you said have the style you've liked, and the one you've seen before - Young K. He is one of the most talented people in whole ent. industry I guess. You should see his "Young One" playlist!! His voice is my TOP-1!!

You missed the entire plot of the song and the MV for Congratulations. As the lyrics say, she asked for a break and he trusted her and took those words for what they were but then she went and found another guy. In the video we see the main guy suddenly spot her walking in with some other guy. All the nice memories they had together flash through his head as she betrays him and breaks his heart and at the end he leaves. It's actually really sad.
So this song is a sarcastic congratulations to her.
Similarly it seems like you missed the plot with "You were beautiful" in your other video, which is a follow up to this, with the same actors. In there we see the girl later in time, reminiscing about the good times with the guy while watching old footage and getting emotional towards the end, probably realizing she messed up, seeing what a nice relationship it was and how good of a guy he was.
Also it's rare for idols to do kissing scenes in mvs but it's not unusual for them to hire actors (like in this mv) that do.

He is known for his absolutely incredible vocals and also known as the God of ballad music in Korea, and not only because of his name ;) (park hyoSHIN, shin = god).

Yes I should have paid more attention to them, the music was just so good that I couldn't focus on anything else. I always wish I could take in more things than one at the same time, because ofc the lyrics matter!
