Agreed 100% Lazer Guided Melodies and Storm in Heaven are in my top 5 albums, alongside Spirit of Eden (Talk Talk, 1988), No Other (Gene Clark, 1974), Journey in Satchidananda (Alice Coltrane, 1970).

Have been listening to Spiritualized for about 4 months now, I do enjoy their output, "Step into the Breeze","Angel Sigh" and "Sway" are my favourites and made me listen to more of the band. Great album!

Of all the shoegazer and dreampop era albums, this is up there with Mojave 3's 'Spoon and Rafter', Slowdive's 'Souvlaki', MBV's 'Loveless', The Sundays' 'Reading, Writing and Arithmetic', Ride's 'Nowhere' and The Cocteau Twins 'Heaven or Las Vegas', Mazzy Star's 'So tonight that I might see' and Mercury Rev's 'Deserter Songs'. I love 'Ladies and Gentleman...' too, but this album is the best Mr Spaceman has put out.
