So good. The doctor is trying to get me on anti deppressents and i say not a chance. I have, The Verve. Im here to talk, not get drugs. I havent gone back.
Great list. A Northern Soul from the 97 set was mega. Saw them a few times that year including Reading & Hammersmith Palais. No room for ‘6 o’clock’, ‘Stormy Clouds’ ‘Grey skies’ or ‘Mover’? Maybe Vol2? 😁
That Northern Soul from 97 is maybe my favorite Nick McCabe performance of all time. Love how almost siren-like he sounds near the “Too busy staying alive” part, fits the song perfectly. As for the songs I didn’t fit in I was trying to stay around 90 mins, but might be putting a part 2 together here before too long 🎶

In my eyes the greatest band from England in the 90's...
Fucking hell, they were so good.
Yesh!
Yes they were!
Ah, what a band!
They're born to do it live. Love Verve forever
Better than Oasis and Blur no question
Love me some Oasis but even to this day Liam on Twitter acknowledges Ashcroft as a musical god so at least he’s humble sometimes 😝
The Verve were LSD & Mushrooms, Blur and Oasis were 2 pints of lager a wrap of speed and poor quality coke...Think that explains it...
@@robspencer8900weed and ecstasy actually. A lot of weed. Like, habitual.
We should have UN petition for Fifth
I love them
