EA never made nfsmw. Blackbox made it, and they’ve been defunct for years now. The original developers and their studio are long gone so ofc there wouldn’t be a game like this in 2023
My reason why 1-The story is cool (even if they say the acting is cheesy it is the most serious story in nfs) 2-The soundtrack elevate the feeling of revenge in the story plus like good music I don’t get tired listen it 3-Sense of speed 4-The police and the freedom of drive everywhere while you scape from them 5-cars that became classic today 6-it is not corny or cheesy or cringe like other nfs, that bring me peace when I put the shoes of the driver

It's not the nostalgia that makes racing games good, it's the criteria and retrospective on how good this game is. Casuals only play MW 2005 and don't even play the underrated NFS games such as Rivals, HP 2010, or ProStreet, or even Carbon. You can't just rate MW 2005 for nostalgia, you rate it on how good the game is, by analyzing the car list, the plot and story, what police chases are like, the map design and it's layout, and also challenging racers that will increase their AI in order to make it harder. Soundtrack was nice, I'm not a rock & roll fan because it hurts my ears, but honestly I prefer Rivals' soundtrack because it has some bangers. MW 2005's soundtrack may be nostalgic to you, but it has lack of energy when hitting the nitro when the chorus plays. So it's like, "I should press the nitro in the chorus to make it energetic". Like for me, it's not. If you objectively play Decadence in there you can feel the energy on pressing the nitro whenever the chorus plays but for me I don't like it, so I'm more of an EDM guy tbh, so I decided to change the soundtracks by myself by changing Rock to EDM.
I prefer Most Wanted 2012, but I can respect this game for everything it does wonderfully. It’s just not my kind of racing game. I’m a picky person though so not everything makes the cut for me. Still, for NFS, the GOAT is right here.
