I have a 2LT v6 2015 model. I ran 1/0 awg wire no problem, directly behind the center console on floor to the right of the gas pedal, there is a huge rubber boot (there was in my car) and I cut a slit into and wire came right through there. simply pull back the carpet and the side cover off of the center console, and it'll be right there.
3 years ago posted yet still relevant. Thank you. I have the same car so i found the rubber boot right away. At first i thought "cut it?" then i just gave her a tug and popped out.
I keep breaking the clips on the kick panel. I don’t want to mess with it anymore before I break all of them. Any tips on taking off the panel kick panel properly.
How did you fish the wire through? I've tried a wire hanger and a wire threaded and I just can't find the connection between the driver feet part out of the opening up top
Zack Ryan 4 gauge is good.the fuse always give me problems. Like melting the actual fuse and the clear plastic around the fuse . Only fuse that worked was the one on this video . Bolt down fuse type
If you do a stereo upgrade, DO A BIG 3 upgrade under the hood. in my car, that worked perfectly. and I have a 3500 system. Lights do dim a bit if i really turn it up, so my next upgrade will be alternator

Did you have to jack the car up and go from below?

Another handy tool to use for fishing wire is an old dipstick with the handle cut off.
I've spent 3 hrs trying to go threw like u showed how in the world did u find access
shaun miller , u ever figure out that hot wire?

Bruh get you a 0 gauge u pulling too much power for that small wire you're starving your subs
I thought they said the impala alternator couldn't hold that much power

Looks like four gauge and that should be going to battery not fuse box
