So I Run the viva as a lcr in my theater. Paired with sopra surround be surrounds it’s the best theater I have ever had calibrated in my theater. Last speakers I will buy.
It took a long time to setup and get it dialed in with Dirac but in the end I have been happy but not ecstatic. The tweeter is bright so I had to try a few different amplifiers before I finally ended up with a happy end. Lots of time and money to get a great result. If I knew from the beginning this amount of work it would take, I would not have done it.
Any thoughts please for Martin Logan vs focal Kanta on which speaker can play music of all genres but also good with home theater Just purchased the new ML F200 and still within the return period.
You definitely don't want to use any Sanus stand for that speaker. That's way beyond the weight limits of every Sanus stand. I'm a dealer for both, btw. Either get the factory stands @ $1099 ea, or maybe try Target Stands or Sound Anchors. The latter 2 will cost you nearly what the Focal stand would, so it's probably better to just get the factory stand that'll bolt up to the speaker anyway.
Shane, the ruler shows the width is really 11.5" eventhough the spec. says 12 1/16", likewise, the depth seems to be less than 18" instead of the spec. of 20 1/16", but the video is blur on that frame, how can the Focal spec. be so off?

The only thing that's disappointing to me is the way the grilles mount. I prefer having the grilles off and sadly these look kind of ugly with those spikes sticking out. Not a deal breaker though.
Very nice looking speakers Shane. Way, way too expensive for me though Shane. WOW. I agree with your thought process though. Why were those 7k plus speakers not wrapped in a protective cloth like the 18k center channel? I also have a problem with speakers that play way above the hearing spectrum. Why? The animals outside probably hate it. 🐱🐶 Turn that 💩 down 👇. 😁😂🤣
I like how when measuring the height you went 1" past the speakers edge and then added 1" to what it said (12"-1foot) to get 13". Lmmfao 😂. It's 11" exactly. Not 13.

I powered up by Boulder 2160 stereo amplifier and 2110 preamp. How much were the Viva utopia' s? I am thinking to turn two channels into 5.1 channels for theatre configuration. How is sound like????
