I like how they simulated the "distance drums" effect by separating the rest of the music and just having the drums *emanate* from NULL.
Basically, in Baldi's Basics Classic Remastered (Not the one on Roblox) the music is what's known as a "MIDI" file. I am not entirely sure what it is, but I think it's basically a set of instructions that tells the game what instruments to play at what times. This means that you can code it so certain effects happen based off the MIDI, and vice versa. I don't think Roblox can use MIDI files, which is why Schoolhouse Trouble (The music) doesn't sound quite right compared to the original game during the boss fight.
The walls pulse in time with the percussion in the music, the music (Except the percussion) freezes whenever NULL gets hit with an item, and the percussion gets louder the closer NULL gets instead of coming *from* NULL directly.
When you are one hit away from defeating NULL, the music freezes on a single note to really stretch out the anticipation of whether or not you will find the last item in time before he catches up.
