Null and Glitched Baldi are completely silent except when opening doors) 4 - Both Null and Glitched open doors that they walk NEXT to. If you have captions on it is a good way of know where they are at! 5 - If you need to lock a door, do it when they are right next to it! Otherwise, if you lock it too soon, they will smash a window open and potentially cut you off. 6 - You may have noticed that I waited for them on the left side to blast them with BSODA. These ones are a bit awkward to get, so get these ones first 3 - Get the notebook on the right side of the school after the middle ones. Not much else to say on this, but you may need to lead Baldi away from there, or if he does not see you, can use a NoSquee and sit in the room for a little and wait until Baldi is far 4 - Get the 2 notebooks on the left side last. MAKE SURE BALDI DOES NOT KNOW YOU ARE THERE! You may only be able to get one of them until Baldi gets too close. In that case try to loop around that hallway and lose Baldi 5 - If the principle catches you running, try to run towards the anti hearing tape and grab it. Use it when Baldi gets close to the detention room(MAKE SURE BALDI IS NOT IN SIGHT WHEN YOU LEAVE THE ROOM, OTHERWISE THE TAPE DOES NOTHING) 6 - If principle is right next to you, and at a door (Yellow or blue, does not matter) you can see if he will open it for you so that you do not attract Baldi. (Principle is likely to go in the classrooms on the left side). Any character can also open doors but good luck with that one. 7 - Since principle emits light when using the lights out, you should run when you know he is far so that you can keep a distance between you and Baldi 8 - Baldi does loose track of you when you take a turn without him seeing you. A good spot to do this is that one hall with the comics in the middle of the school (Sit by the door, don't open it until you are ready to gain his attention again). 9 - Captions on

I completely agree! This Video was the first I've watched of classic remastered, and I jumped from amazement when I saw that boss fight! Absolutely brilliant!
the thing that make these creepy is the fact that there is dead silence, and hearing a door open from a far also sounds pretty creepy knowing you are alone and have to deal with a very powerful entity, there is no whistling, no happy music, no slapping, no motor running, no ocassional sweeping, no teleporting, and no stopping you
16:15 is a very good example of this, as you just got the last notebook and glitch silently changes directions and crashes through like 4 windows to get to you.
That Jumpscare is unlike anything I've ever seen. Not sudden, short and loud, but foreseeable, long and starting rather quiet and gradually becoming louder and more aggressive. Kind of like it's trying to overload you with the sound and not just straight up scaring you. Now that's creepy!
8:52 love the tension this moment gives off, you try to speed across the halls looking for the last object to throw at NULL, before he inevitably outruns you Until you did, and were met with dead, abrupt silence
There's something uncanny and scary about this mode. Just how quiet it is save for the sound of doors opening off in the distance, lights flickering the closer NULL is, and just NULL in general looking super uncanny. Just seeing him zip closer to you and pop out of a corner is weirdly frightening.
21:31 You have to click play after inserting the code in the YCTP, after you go inside the game you have to pause it and click the question mark for the debug menu to appear.
So you need to beat the main modes (I think?) and then beat Null mode, AND THEN BEAT IT AGAIN! And even then you might not even realise the code's there
A detail that I noticed is that during the battle against NULL, the further you are from him the more the drums gets low and the closer the more it increases. This may imply that NULL added the drums, that's why the school gets contorted when the drums plays... but that's just a theory.

It's because the Let's Play scene isn't what it used to be. The channels either changed direction, moved to Twitch, or moved on. I personally think the lack of attention is good for Baldi and Mystman.
It makes me so happy to see Baldi has made a comeback! And that there’s a literal bossfight as well! This is proof that a game doesn’t need to look “good” to be good
Another Important tip: When you have all notebooks and reach the 3rd exit, null /spoopballoon will rush to the principal office faster than you can comprehend and will disappear, he reappears when you are about to reach the last exit which triggers the fight. He also can‘t kill you at that time unless you threw an item at him
I have to solemnly thank you for making this series of guides to beat all the modes and challenges in Baldi's Basics. Your tips, tricks, and routes were all invaluable in my runs. I finally just now beat NULL Style and I couldn't have done it without you. 🙏
Wow I’m amazed And am probably not gonna beat this difficulty without cheats, but thanks for the tips for beating the game with all 3 other difficulties on This game has came such a long way
Trying to beat null with cheats (throwing things at him before he finishes saying your gonna regret attacking himand spawning stuff to hit him with) he just straight up kills you for spawning and hitting him
When you mentioned "I'm not sure where to click," you have to play any game-mode and go to the pause menu. Then go to the top right and it will be a slightly transparent red question mark. Once you've clicked it, you will be taken to a cheat menu. Hope this helps!
The get out while you still can line will always be more iconic than destroy the game imo... Even still that boss fight is intense and I'm surprised they managed to do something like this with the limited mechanics of the game 👁👄👁
You're basically getting the same numbers as I did. And yeah sometimes Null decides to go the wrong way and just screw you over (Baldi's Basics for you). But I'm glad that my route + tips are somewhat working for you!
@@TomRBel something to note is that at 8:13 he won't actually be faster than you (you and him both have the same speed); but since Null (ang glitchedBaldi) have perfect AI movement they will always take the optimal path, thus making them hanving less distance to cover over time (they will catch up eventually doe to that)
I still wonder what the whole thing about the number "99" is all about. I have noticed that red and 99 have to be connected, since red baldloons are much more different from the others (very glitchy), and red balloons have a secret hidden 99 on it. Also, the secret 99 death screen is the very first one that turns red. Also, any red text that I've seen (mostly in the ending for baldi basics plus demo, where baldi glitches out, and an error message appears. 99 can be found here) has to be connected to 99 in some way, besides playtime.
As a Baldi Player since 1.1, I love some of the small subtle refrences to the pre-plus era (filename2, the test entity if you answer a question as the date the game released, obv similarities to the all questions wrong ending, ect)
this is my first time seeing this, and i love the fact that null makes the lights turn off as he moves down the hallway. perfect detail utilizing the school setting
This funny education weird game for a game jam was turn into amazing game series This boss battle ost is a total banger Also good job doing this without cheats that literally insane to do!
Having not heard about this game in ages, seeing that null bossfight was absolutely hilarious. This game may not be for me, but I do think it has a great sense of humor
Late to the party, but I just want to talk about the boss theme: (from a programming perspective) 1. The song slaps harder than my dad duel weilding belts coming home after a night with the boys and finding no dinner made for him 2. The song is actually chopped up into stages, and it gets more intense as you throw stuff at filename2, and it sounds coherent! Not just like you stopped one track and started another, it stays with the time signature and actually changes with the fight. A good example is the ending, where before it was playing the boss theme; and after the 2nd-to-last object was thrown, it switched to a constant horn-like sound. I just think that integrating music into programming is really cool, and something thats really hard to pull off right
And remember when mods made him the head master of the schoolhouse? Now it's just a stupid AI/man who was trapped in the game and is being corrupted everytime we play and is tired of our bull****
21:31 you have to enterany game mode and then open setting (esc) and you'll find in the up corner in the right a question mark click it and you'll geta cheat menu
I like how after the null boss fight every remnant of him is completely deleted. This explains why he glitched out and things just went silent. He even has his voice lines deleted which is proven from the fact that the voice lines are just corrupted. Its like he never existed. Any remnant of him is replaced by the glitched out baldis after the boss. This is a pretty cool detail for a game that didnt have much lore.
I really like how you have visual captions that show where a sound is coming from, that's actually really cool! Edit: Just realized that might be part of the game, never played the remastered version so I wouldn't know, but either way still really cool.
these modes are really cool, even tho they dont seem to have much to them the gameplay is hard, but looks very fun and spooky! also at 5:39 got me laughin tho-😭
Hey, i saw you were wondering where the question mark is. Just start the game and choose any style it doesnt matter. Then when your in, pause the game and you see top right corner a question mark, and that can give you cheats. I hope this helps! :D
21:14 the question mark is on the pause menu when in a mode it unlocks cheats there are more codes then that one and more secrets to find you can just look up a video if you want to see them or not if you dont want spoilers
Bro i legit didn't know that the first part (collecting all 7 notebooks) was even possible without the speed hack! You deserve more attention. Also isn't Glitch just retextured Null or do they have different mechanics Also behind the Bus at the start there's a dirty chalk earaser
He also has different voicelines like his only noise is just glitching and the captions just say “*intense glitching*” Whereas null just says things like “theres nowhere to hide!” Or “i’ve had enough, i’ve had enough!”
I Love how null is trying his best to be scary By saying Destroy the Game Backwards then saying "Did that scare you is-is that like scary considered scary? "
I used this and got at least 5/7 every time. Eventually it helped me beat the game. Thx for providing these tips! I'd also like to point out that there is a bug where at 6/7 Null can sometimes still see you even if you use dirty chalk erasers to hide from him.

the better you code, the more fun your games are.
(same on how creative you are.)
@@noone-xf9hx same, like who would expect this character to appear in multiple endings and have a boss fight? do i even need to mention that hes my favourite character? now i see why it took so long for this...

Dang I remember seeing this game in 2017 or 2018. This game had a glow up tbh I’m just surprised I don’t see any big big TH-camrs covering it
yeah imo it died but im surprised this video got 200k views
probably not aware of this literally this video popped up on my recommendation and this surprised me to see!

It's because the Let's Play scene isn't what it used to be. The channels either changed direction, moved to Twitch, or moved on. I personally think the lack of attention is good for Baldi and Mystman.
@@astrokatzsmore like 1 million
It makes me so happy to see Baldi has made a comeback! And that there’s a literal bossfight as well! This is proof that a game doesn’t need to look “good” to be good
True, finally someone understands it
Another Important tip: When you have all notebooks and reach the 3rd exit, null /spoopballoon will rush to the principal office faster than you can comprehend and will disappear, he reappears when you are about to reach the last exit which triggers the fight.

I never thought a game like baldi's Basics would have boss fights
let alone a decent one!
Since we called him filename_2 , such old times
Wow, genuinely surprised that this is beatable legit! Hats off to you for real
Wow I’m amazed
And am probably not gonna beat this difficulty without cheats, but thanks for the tips for beating the game with all 3 other difficulties on
This game has came such a long way
If you decide to go with my route on this, let me know if you manage to beat it!
You can't beat it with cheats unless you manage to code an override to toggle it in-game (which I did lol)
@@Reycko that’s what I mean
In fact The way to do it is quite easy but I will try for a few attempts before beating it
Trying to beat null with cheats (throwing things at him before he finishes saying your gonna regret attacking himand spawning stuff to hit him with) he just straight up kills you for spawning and hitting him
Indeed it has the test, indeed it has
my man ended null with potassium
When you mentioned "I'm not sure where to click," you have to play any game-mode and go to the pause menu. Then go to the top right and it will be a slightly transparent red question mark. Once you've clicked it, you will be taken to a cheat menu. Hope this helps!
The get out while you still can line will always be more iconic than destroy the game imo...
Even still that boss fight is intense and I'm surprised they managed to do something like this with the limited mechanics of the game 👁👄👁

Very true
Thanks for the help! I'm mostly doing your path and I'm able to advance to the boss 20% of the time.
(Null "Mostly" follows the same path every time)
You're basically getting the same numbers as I did.

99 can be found here) has to be connected to 99 in some way, besides playtime.
its like 99 is a cursed number in baldis basics
@@chaosjevil123 either that or 99 is a reference to a character or future character
if u flip the 99 on the doors it will look like "66" but if you add another 6 it could be "666" so 99 is the cursed number on baldis basics
@@1bitsofPixels I'm starting to think we're overthinking about this. Mostly me.
Windows 99?
As a Baldi Player since 1.1, I love some of the small subtle refrences to the pre-plus era (filename2, the test entity if you answer a question as the date the game released, obv similarities to the all questions wrong ending, ect)
this is my first time seeing this, and i love the fact that null makes the lights turn off as he moves down the hallway. perfect detail utilizing the school setting
i love how the music gets faster alongside null getting faster when you hit him. pretty cool imo

This funny education weird game for a game jam was turn into amazing game series
This boss battle ost is a total banger
Also good job doing this without cheats that literally insane to do!
After beating NULL you should try to get the secret ending for the other styles! Theyre entirely different.
If this boss fight manages to appear in Baldi's Basics Plus, I would cry myself for that moment to happen
Having not heard about this game in ages, seeing that null bossfight was absolutely hilarious. This game may not be for me, but I do think it has a great sense of humor
Late to the party, but I just want to talk about the boss theme: (from a programming perspective)
1. The song slaps harder than my dad duel weilding belts coming home after a night with the boys and finding no dinner made for him
2. I just think that integrating music into programming is really cool, and something thats really hard to pull off right
Remember when people called him " filename_2"?
Good times.
Man i remember
And remember when mods made him the head master of the schoolhouse? Now it's just a stupid AI/man who was trapped in the game and is being corrupted everytime we play and is tired of our bull****
I still call him that
When I first saw him being called 'Null' I thought it was just a fan made nickname
Null is allergic to potassium, he screamed when he got hit by banana

My man is literally insane at this game. I COULDNT even beat it when it came out and here you are completing the hardest modes I’ve seen
21:32 you go into the game, pause and there will be a question mark at the top right. Click on it and it will take you to the cheat screen.
7:25 Null blocks exit, and the boss fight begins.
21:31 you have to enterany game mode and then open setting (esc) and you'll find in the up corner in the right a question mark click it and you'll geta cheat menu
I remember when Baldi's Basics first began existing.. The good 'ol days. Now it's become too advanced for me to comprehend.
8:13 I love that part, i think it would be a good idea to chart the chasing song and the ending.
btw i think also some mechanics like throw items to NULL so he can drain health
I like how after the null boss fight every remnant of him is completely deleted. This explains why he glitched out and things just went silent. He even has his voice lines deleted which is proven from the fact that the voice lines are just corrupted. Its like he never existed. Any remnant of him is replaced by the glitched out baldis after the boss. This is a pretty cool detail for a game that didnt have much lore.
you know the musics good when the whole building starts vibing to it
I love how null sounds constipated when you throw something at him in the boss fight

I really like how you have visual captions that show where a sound is coming from, that's actually really cool!
Edit: Just realized that might be part of the game, never played the remastered version so I wouldn't know, but either way still really cool.
When I saw the code I thought “IS THAT THE ANSWER TO THE 3RD QUESTION??”
Same here
Your the first person I see to do this with out cheats.
For the question mark one, go into a game then open the pause menu and click the question mark that should be somewhere near the top right corner.
4:00 Show anyone this image before 2019 and they will have so many questions. It's just so ominous, with Null all the way over there.
I finally beat null and glitch, Thanks for the tips man!
You got to love the glitches that happen with the null boss fight as they are timed to the music
these modes are really cool, even tho they dont seem to have much to them the gameplay is hard, but looks very fun and spooky! also at 5:39 got me laughin tho-😭
its amazing what this game has become, i remember how i would literally talk about this game in school everyday
Hey, i saw you were wondering where the question mark is. Just start the game and choose any style it doesnt matter. Then when your in, pause the game and you see top right corner a question mark, and that can give you cheats. I hope this helps! :D
Thank you so much i have managed to beat null style on first try (i got really lucky i guess) and somehow unlocked the glitch style achivment
The strategy you came up with for this is incredible
Once you beat null and red balloon baldi in glitched style,go check basement ending. Its different
every secret ending is different after null is gone actually
after beating null, hes pretty much got "erased",so any ending with him changed, you go to baldi's office, baldi is there and normal,to give you a tip
Wonder what happens if you do the normal party style ending after beating glitch style
21:14 the question mark is on the pause menu when in a mode it unlocks cheats
there are more codes then that one and more secrets to find
you can just look up a video if you want to see them or not if you dont want spoilers

Bro i legit didn't know that the first part (collecting all 7 notebooks) was even possible without the speed hack! You deserve more attention.
Also isn't Glitch just retextured Null or do they have different mechanics
Also behind the Bus at the start there's a dirty chalk earaser

Whereas null just says things like “theres nowhere to hide!” Or “i’ve had enough, i’ve had enough!”
