Since you reacted to Pispers, I would kinda like to see a reacted to Frieden by K.I.Z. It's a song but it really points well about some stuff and I think you can say a lot about it as well. Subtitles can be enabled but even without it should be easy to grasp the general message.

Don't feel bad about being "the bad guys". It's the government like in most cases. When I grew up I also learned that Saddam Hussein is "The Bad Guy" and in the early 2000's he was executed by hanging.
Only by Volker's program I learned that Hussein cooperated with the USA back in the day and that America supported him with weapons and stuff. Just like Osama, I only learned that he is "the bad guy", the terrorist who attacked America. But who knows what really happened before that?
No one is being born to be a bad person, no one. It's always the circumstances.
We Germans like to be neutral and deliver weapons to war zones. As Volker says, it's a method to keep jobs alive in the end. War is money, never forget that.
Governments actions are unforeseeable but those who voted them in can feel bad for a brief moment though. Then take responsibility to move on, that's what Germany did and it worked well whereas the US became a war activist.

Another point why I don't go voting anymore. There's literally no one to vote left. Everyone is just there to make money for his own pocket. Our chancellor nowadays, Olaf Scholz, has a very very bad reputation amongst all german citizen. But the alternatives aren't better as well.
If you want to compare it to the US, Germany has the CDU and SPD as "grand old party" and "democrats". One of both is always in power. The rest are smaller parties with near to no influence over the big ones. Only the right wing "AfD" wins a LOT of influence but in the end their leaders are nothing but Nazis.
Only thing you can do as a voter in germany without wasting you vote is to vote a real small regional party.
@@mischa1981 I share your frustration but to vote against the Trump loving AfD is a good reason and keep in mind our current political leadership is incompetent and selfish rather than dangerous. Politics is necessary and you have almost to be insane to choose it as profession on their level. I don't want to have another one who's really insane
Hussein was a bad guy. So was the US. The only recent conflic where the US has been the good guy is right now in Ukraine.

Every empire in human history has fallen and so will the USA. The rest of the world is already forming. China, Russia, etc. have joined forces. Even Iran and Saudi Arabia are there. I just hope that my Germany doesn't perish as a result and that it strives for friendship with Russia first, because they are our neighbors. Why do I care about the USA across the ocean!?
Interestingly Republican cult leader Trump actually likes all the dictatorships you mentioned. I hope that our Germany remains a friend of the current democracy loving USA. I care about my neighbours more as well but I always rest with an 👁 like an alerted cartoon dog from the 80's

I am German and I consider Volker Pispers a narrow-minded, socialist, conspiracy-theorizing bigmouth, always mixing his opinions with just a little truth so you are tempted to believe his words. There are far better political comedians in Germany, even lefties, more enjoyable as well as more educational.
