As fas as we know alignment will work using the anathema/tenets system, and good and evil is getting renamed.

If champion can only be a emissary of god then it's more appropriate to call them a paladin regardless of alignment or cause.
And as a champion I should be able to be the representative of what or whom I want of my choice, be it the king, the country, or my neighbours pet.
I'm currently trying to find a redeeming quality to the class.
And as of the time of writing I have found none.
