Dirge of Doom :P
Enemy: You cant see me! Me: But i can SMELL youuuu!
I've been testing out Ruffian Rogue lately and as soon as I got the striking dagger, I started flanking people like crazy and just resorting to thug tactics. It was nuts.
I am simply a pathfinder first edition player
the balatro logo font gave me psychic damage
I THOUGHT I WAS THE ONLY ONE
*DING* *DING* *DING*
I CAN'T ESCAPE IT
I LOVR GAMBLIMG!!!
@@Crowofjudge PLAY THE DAMN FLUSH 5!
Love the midriff of that barbarian lady.
The Red Mantis oneshot is a good example of the subsystem's usage, our group had fun with it!
Hey, I'm starting playing and GMing PF2e, and compared to DnD, it has way less channels talking about it. So I wanted to thank you for being one of the few covering Pathfinder, it's helping me a lot!
Smol angry kobold.
Leshy Monk is also pretty good too is you wanna use Caustic Nectar or if you wanna go Cactus Leshy. You can also go for a Leshy Druid of the Leaf Order for another Leshy, then pick up Order Explorer for an Arboreal animal companion.
Hope this becomes a series 😁
it needs a Rare Race Choice but i love Pixie Kineticists The Aura Effects Blasts and everything coming from a size tiny humanoid with (optional) fairy wings is just pure fun
'Action ' economy,' undermined the Summoner i
Try box set (menace otari) then trouble (otari), then AB Vaults. Underwater marauder and breath control, can save your life. I.e. box set, the Dragon fight. Dragon uses poison breath weapon. How about a surprise attack by something that pulls you under water? It happens... When I play an Acrobat, feather step, and fleet can make a lot of difference, when you need to tumble through!
Cat Fall is C or even B-. Every campaign that doesn't take place entirely on an empty field has some certicality. The ability to defy gravity should not be underestimated - that's why Feather Fall is a staple. Experienced Smuggler isn't a B in most campaigns. Yes you occasionally need to hide things. I wouldn't say it's something most characters need on a regular basis. Forager is a C at most. You can replace this feat for like 5 gold/campaign since rations are so cheap and light. Unless you need to go without resupply for years - or your gm makes a weekly ration 1 bulk instead of L - you can just buy stuff. Group Coercion/Impression really suffer from being limited to only one activity each, and with the way I tend to run social encounters (that is, with total disregard for the whole hostile-helpful conditions) I would have to give the feats some other use cases. If anyone ever took them. D, maybe C-. Hefty Hauler isn't that bad! A bag of holding is fairly expensive and carrying stuff in it doesn't work with tool kits (you need a Healer's Kit on you for Battle Medicine, for example). 5+Str isn't that much if you have no Strength. Solid C. Repair states you "spend 10 minutes attempting to fix a damaged item, placing the item on a stable surface and using the repair toolkit with both hands" Quick Repair doesn't remove the need to use tools with both hands while the item is on a stable surface. So unfortunately you still need to spend about a round rearranging items before you can use it. C. Skill Training is useful because skill increases are precious. Specialization on a few skills allows you to shine when those skills are needed, training many skills allows you to be useful even if you can't absolutely dominate the check - but what if you want both? You need Skill Training for that. B.
Snare Crafting sucks for the same reason poisons suck plus one - its harder to bring a snare to a fight.
It’s negative energy healing, renamed to distance paizo product from DnD, in all places, necessary and unnecessary.
Assurance: Crafting is a sleeper that tons of people overlook. I take it with every character that has shield block, along with quick repair. So while the healer is treating wounds (10 minutes) between fights I can automatically succeed on 10 repair checks for my shield.
At level 7, provided the skill you're using is one that you're a master in, you'll start succeeding in all level based DCs of your level! That's when I start taking it in skills that don't have scaling DCs anyway. Medicine is usually always a good assurance skill in the builds that use it though
Biographc eye Looks like we have a Sherlock Holmes here.
>your cleric will not be able to heal them with magic All clerics have access to the Harm spell, so yes your cleric will be able to heal them with magic
Fog Cloud/Mist is not a sustained spell. Its literally just a normal spell you cast and it sticks around for a minute. This video is misleading/false information. You also imply here that the "concentrate" tag requires spells to be sustained, when they simply is not the case. Only spells with a sustained duration need to be sustained
Assurance for non-stop backflips
spells to consider - ill omen, misfortune on attacks (Each miss is worth its weight in dwarven chirugeon alchemists, and laughing fit, target can't use reactions.
this has to qualify as a work of art...
Assurance also works not just great with stealth but with medicine especialy against some of the conditions you can cure with the help of medicine feats
IMHO, Assurance is not really good. I would especially not take it at starting levels, where you can only be trained. It starts to become interesting around level 7 with master skill proficiency. Even then, it never works on bosses, and since non-boss encounters are usually easier, it is more of a "win more" option rather than something that can help you in a tight spot.
This, for sure. Yeah sometimes you can get an auto grapple at -10 MAP vs some pl-2 mook, but you could have done something else with that action anyway. The actual good use case for assurance is for medicine. At level 3 you auto succeed on trained checks, level 6 you auto succeed at expert checks, and at level 14 you auto succeed at master checks. This is a very good use, but for other skills, not so much
Solid video!
Assurance + Dubious Knowledge is certain to give some info (and a wrong info too). Assurance in downtime can be interesting if your adventure takes days off for Crafting or Earn Income. Assurance with the Aid action is where the fun is. At level 3 it’s already a guaranteed success if you’re Expert, at level 9 it’s a guaranteed Crit Success for +3 and so on. Even better if you can reliably use the same skill, like with Swashbuckler’s One For All feat always using Diplomacy
So most of my gms I have played with have banned me from playing the magus because they don't know how to deal with it I like to blink tank I've even gone down the monstrous physique route that one was fun
Great video. Still don’t like pathfinder’s bait and switch.
bait and switch?
@ giving classes profession in various gear/abulities but the result is the same. You might be a master in x, but they could have just given you a +2 in x and everyone else a +0. The thing that makes a class a class is it what it is very early on and doesn’t change in relation to the other classes.
Ese es mi hechicero en la campaña que estoy.
Bards my beloved
Also I love how it is more disgusting than this Fortissimo Composition can make it a +2 or +3 (Quickened Cast) Synesthesia is actually Clumsy 3 and Stunned 2 (which is even more disgusting cause it stacks with Flat Footed) alongside the basically blinded condition The energy is so on-point, it is just so funny knowing that the situation is actually more hilarious than this, and very much can all happen in a single turn
buenisimo. me encanta
By the way, the invisible condition makes so at least you are hidden against a creature that can't perceive you with a precise sense. So you can't seek twice to make an enemy concealed.
Excelent
and here I thought he was going to transform into a 30 charisma prince... disappoint. love your work! you rock!
nice
Just discovered your channel and im bingewatching all your vids lovely channel!
The goat returns!
Im always so happy when i see new stuff from you. Srsly i hope you soon blow up, because i think you are a true blessing for the pf2e community ❤
I agree
Good stuff
What about the possessed effect ? Because kitsune can have that as a racial feat now, so, do know how npc can react (im trying to be a game mistress)
THe specific kitsune ability allows them to cast possesion, the rank 7 spell. the target gets a will save every turn unless they critically fail, but their allies can still attack your body or if they have spirit damage, they can attack you without damaging their ally.
@@GearedUpGames ok
Thank you
Battle oracle tanks not by stacking AC but counting expended health bars xd.
No how to play, just reading the rulebook
I was already sold on the sillouhette
To ask, would like to see a follow-up on how to make Wizards 'as effective as possible' at lower levels (6 & under) as they seem extremely under-powered compared to other classes. Real advice & specific tips that go beyond the obvious 'here is what they get per level' etc. Yeah 'it depends on the situation' but still several examples would help.

As a GM, I find it hard to believe a mount you're riding such as a horse would not do anything if you did not give it a command and something dangerous is charging it. I think if the player does not command the mount or animal companion, as GM I will have it act accordingly to its own desires.
it's the same thing
