So much love for you both. Your steadfastness is an example of real humanitarian values. As they say in the sci fi “May you live long and proper”. I don’t begrudge people religion, but my interest is in outcomes, and any beliefs which teach people that they have the right to claim their rights by deliberately violating the rights of others. Spread the word that people need to read and talk about Article 29 of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights. Until enough people do this, the UN will remain hopelessly hobbled by logically fallacious arguments which seek to legitimise terrorism and the subjugation of women and minorities and vulnerable people generally.
I grew up in the west i wasn’t allowed to sit a certain way, smile or laugh too much, allowed to play sports or do school activities. In the west! I couldn’t do a lot. Also i got my period at age 10. Imagine i would be married off in the past or in another country. Horrible, i was 53 lbs at that age and would’ve died if forced to live that life and have children. I’m glad i had the west n my mom was great even tho she’s still brainwashed. Edit: also i started learning Arabic before school too. I was 4 and learned Arabic. I learned to read English at age 3 already but my classmates didn’t know how to read n they first learned Arabic. Again in the west
