    MY GRANPARENTS WERE REMOVED FROM THEYR LANDS DURING THE 40S USSR, GRANDAD WAS SENT TO SIBERIA, GRANMOTHER WITH KIDS RELOCATED, ALL THEYR LANDS CONFISCATED. THREE GENERATIONS AFTER WE LIVE IN DIFFEREND VILAGES, DIFFERENT LANDS. OUR GRANDPARENTS NEVER THOUGHT US TO HATE THE RUSSIAN OCUPPAIERS, OR TO KILL. THEY TOUGHT US TO STUDY AND MAKE A LIFE, PLANT A TREE, BULT A HOME, RAISE A CHILED, BE GOOD TO YOUR NEIGHBOURS.
    ALL THIS PALESTINIAN OBSETION/VICTIM/ETERNAL REFUGY HAS NO SOLUTION BECAUSE THEY DONT WANT A SOLUTION.

      There were massive shifts in populated people in many countries after World War II including Germany, Poland, the Ukraine and India.
      The partition of India was particularly violent. Ironically, it was done because the Muslims refused to be in a country with Hindus and today Pakistanis are some of the most hateful critics of Israel.

    I like this channel so much because I get to hear different real, true stories about different communities in the Middle East from people who personally experienced it.
    I'm tired of hearing those hypocritical "experts" in mega podcasts about issues in Middle East.

    The guy seems like a nice and reasonable person that can help bring peace to the region, but the Arabs who fled during 1948 are not more special than any other refugees. There was no language, cultural or religious barrier for them to assimilate in Lebanese and Syrian society. It is a purely political ploy to continue to fight against Israel. Israel has no responsibility to let them back into Israel proper. Just like Moroccans and Iraqis don’t have to let Jews back in. Jews that were forced out at the same time. It’s time for the Arabs to grow up and move on. Just like the mizrachi Jews in Israel moved on. They need to care about their children’s future and not their grandfathers imagined honor. He sounds like someone who can help accomplish that.

      The only minor idea I would add is that Yishai Fleischer and people like him want Israel to expel HOSTILE Arabs to Gaza, even if they are currently citizens. I'm guessing he might at the same time welcome some non-hostile Muslims, who are kinda de facto Zionists, to replace the hostile militants.
      I recall Yishai speaking kindly of some Muslim neighbors in Hebron.

      Exactly as millions across the world when land was partitioned after empires collapsed and new ethno relgious border were created.
      The only thing that makes them unique is how they've been rewarded financially for generations on with their jihad and the fictitious bogus intergenerational "refugee" status they still have.
      The right of return is just a cover for war of return and 1947 2.0.

      Lebanon has no responsibility either. Lebanon did not participate in the war and Lebanon has had to deal with the crap from their neighbouring states for a long time - enough. Lebanons civil war was sparked in great part because the Palestinians tried to overthrow the Christian leadership and take over Lebanon. Lebanon is the only Middle Eastern country that has christian representation - it was created to be a haven for Christians in a hostile region. Lebanon is a tiny country - he mentions that if the sunni becomes a majority, then it won't be a problem. He is either extremely naive or he is just projecting his own worldview of how he would conduct himself. It would be a disaster for the Christians. Instead of bashing on Lebanon and putting more pressure on destabilising this tiny country, the neighbours who started the problem in the first place can take up their responsibility and fix the problem. Lebanon has bigger issues.

      @@ela7893 Lebanon from what I know sadly did in 1947 although it is true they didn't in 1967 -- makes me wonder why they just didn't stay neutral or they naively think the non-Muslim Arabs of the region would go through with their vision of secular Arab nationalism (although being a Christian majority at that time, you would think they would accept a 2 state solution there, knowing the history of the Jews of that region, unlike Muslim Arabs who sadly try to erase the Jewish national history there).

    Mohamad Ghaoui may be reasonable and logical when it comes to the right of return for Palestinians but I think he is an exception.
    There are so many Palestinians in the United States, Canada, and Australia who are professionals or successful businessmen who are prosperous and successful with one or more generation firmly planted in the country of their diaspora yet they pine for a return to Palestine. The real numbers returning could end up even much larger than the inflated number of registered refugees; Israel as a Jewish country would collapse.

    • @MrXammos
      @MrXammos วันที่ผ่านมา +3

      The problem is that the pine to return is in most cases principled and theoretical. Many have admitted to me that they would never want to live under Palestinian rule, and in reality prefer the freedoms they have in the West.

      1:18:00 I think this is the best solution that was proposed here: 1 ) dedicate all moneies for any "palestinian" issue to countries that willing to accept them as citizens 2)allow countries to vet them out 3) require them to sign of any claim for right of return or being "palestinian refugee". 4) may be pay some money after staing in new country after 10 years, if they not participate in any support againt this country .

  • @abupinhus
    @abupinhus 8 ชั่วโมงที่ผ่านมา +1

    Right of return for refugies is very tricky proposition. Even in situations, when people stay citizens of the country, and they actually were themselves were force out. The best solution is usualy restitution to actual refugies. Also, arab countries forced out about 850 thousands of jews. These countries has to be first in paying restitutions, or accepting "palestinians" as citizens. In case of Israel situation is even more tricky. First, jews want a country where they are majority. There is no other country were jew can have national identity. Secondary, state of radicalisation of arabs who claim be decendents of refugies. No country is obligated to get new citizens, especialy those with emnity to it.
    I like this guy, his solution is never be accepted by any side.

    Originally there were 700 Korans. Then they narrowed it down to 35, and for reasons unknown to me, Saudi Arabia got to pick the version that everyone would adopt in the Arab world. The Islamic scholars, some of whom are Christians, sourced the 35 versions and found inconsistencies were too numerous to count, including phrases that existed in one and not in another, and having different interpretations for the same phrases. So as each caliphate dynasty came and went, each one would add information to the Quran that suited their lifestyle. For example, in the 8th century (750 AD), the Abbasids added the part about having multiple wives because they were polygamists. They chose to add it, in order not to corrupt the original Torah and New Testament concepts adopted by the Quran. Arabs in one Caliphate hated Arabs from previous Caliphates, and would remove parts that were previously added. Under normal circumstances, you might argue that Islam is a progressive religion, and their believers are progressive as well, which would be considered a good thing because apparently the Quran is a living document that changes with the times. Unfortunately, knowing that at its roots, Islam is a male dominated, misogynistic, pedophilic, survival of the fittest, combat based power culture, that must constantly prove its mettle through destructive and forceful means, it became more restrictive over time, such as what we see happening in Afghanistan and elsewhere. Obviously this can’t be the direct word of Allah because of the tens of thousands of conflicting interpretations, which are all believed to be genuine, due to the severe penalties people face for questioning the authenticity, validity, and reliability of the Koran, Hadiths (life of Mohammed), and Surahs (stories). What is interesting, and Mohamed alludes to this, is where he says you have to read it in a particular dialect of Arabic. The problem is that the Quran was not written in Arabic. Arabic was invented in the 7th century. What the scholars found was that the original Koran was a book written in Syriac Aramaic. The scholars translated the Arabic Quran into Syriac Aramaic, and then translated that into Arabic. What they found was that concepts were explained in different ways, to allow certain indoctrinations to occur in a top-down fashion. For instance, the 72 white virgins who are voluptuous with sumptuous breasts, in the Syriac Aramaic version are actually firm white grapes. There are paintings of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob going into Paradise in the Islamic version being showered with white grapes. Perhaps eternal damnation is something that came in later on. This is the reason why the book lacks clarity, because it’s not the original anymore, and the only way to get people to accept all these different versions is to threaten their lives, threaten their livelihood in order to get them to keep quiet. And I think we can all agree that Facebook, Instagram, and TH-cam are doing the same thing, and I think we all need to give a big gigantic vote of thanks to Elon Musk for buying Twitter because if it wasn’t for X, we would have the exact same result that Islam gets through force. If Kamala Harris would’ve been elected, that she would’ve been able to trump up some charges on X and get rid of it as well.

    While I don't think it's still THE apartheid I do think that Lebanon is doing a horrible job in absorbing Palestinian Arabs, when I argue the Sunni Muslim there are the same as the ones in the region I call Sham (i.e. Levantine Arab). Lebanese Sunni Arabs can literally have a lot more power absorbing them and even consider "dual citizenship" with "the Palestinian state" if they want to keep being Israel's enemy. It feels weird Lebanon tries to make Palestinian Arabs miserable while apparently being in solidarity with them. They think more hate would be effective in this scenario (although it is true many Lebanese-Palestinians just seem to blame Israelis than the Lebanese for their issues).
