I'm so glad that over time Chris has made his vids much longer and his jobs stretched over several episodes so we get to see much much more of what he does to get work like this done. Especially his pond work. It's like watching Michelangelo at work painting a masterpiece.
We should start calling you the pond whisperer, he who turns mud into beauty. Great work as always Chris, and like many others these are my favorites, especially as we see change and progress. Many thanks from Canada.
Great job Chris. I've got a pond to fix once our weather gets better. I really enjoy your videos. Lots of times I forget to take before pictures. It's always nice to see before and progression pictures. Keep up the good work and enjoy your weather!
Do you own your own machine for seed and straw? Or rent one or third party when needed? I'm looking more into doing some sort of hydroseed or hydromulching work on my pond since I left some of the banks so steep. Trying to see about all my options.
Do you ever use a different bucket? I almost always use my ditch bucket for everything besides small sewer ditches or if the ground is really hard.I think its easier to see your grade with the ditch bucket
great job as always Chris. Do u guys warranty that from not leaking ? as well as when u build new , do u guys warranty them from no leaks / or you will fix it ? i know there are alot of variables but generally?
if it breaks from something we did we will fix it. But since we did not build the entire dam it would be hard to as we have no control if it leaks forms at the bottom.
Chris, I have a similar issue with my pond and I'm saving up to fix it. What would a project like this cost? Not going to hold you to it, just trying to figure out if it is a $3000 or $30000 kind of deal.
Another fine job you & your crew has done Chris, about how far is the farthest you'll do a job? or what was your farthest way job & what was it? thanks for sharing stay safe, have fun b/c life is short
Fish habitat enhancement, they love it despite your opinion. 35 gallon barrel on it's side with a bottom still in it will rear up a lot of channel cats over the years as they use it for a nest to spawn in.
BeeRich33 I was wondering the same, the only 2 reasons I could think are cosmetic, to make it look abit better than having track marks on bare dirt. or to help with grass to grow on the newly layed and compacted ground
How come you chose to use a 4in1 on the track loader? basically all the videos I see of skidsteers and track loaders in the US use a standard bucket? in Australia all the skidsteers come with 4in1's

Especially his pond work.
It's like watching Michelangelo at work painting a masterpiece.
Before and after shots are always a winner!

Chris, you made it look so easy to fix, but I'm sure with your talent it wasn't a problem!
Out of all the work you do, making and fixing ponds is what I like the best.
that's why I'm here. water has a special kind of natural beauty

I'm surprised the dam held back that water only being a few feet wide. This video did show up in my subscriptions unlike the last one.

You can make a crap sandwich look tasty. Great work as always. I'm sure the customers are always satisfied.

we put in a siphon

Chris, you all do dam good work. Pun intended.
I appreciate the before and after pictures.
Nice job man!
What is the difference between good dirt and bad dirt? Are they different types of dirt, or does good dirt eventually go bad?
mighty fine work!
Well done!

What is an average cost for a job like that?
Hi can I ask why you put straw down we don't do that here in the uk ?
helps keep the grass seed moist and helps prevent errosion

What's up with all the tires in the water? looks like crap

Ya'll the pond masters.
You should provide links to your friends channels, i'd like to watch their videos too.
Sure wish you could fix my leaking dam.
Gosh nice job, but you didn't showed you doing the work. I enjoy your videos more when you are working.
"goop"? Is that a technical term?
So why the straw?
BeeRich33 I was wondering the same, the only 2 reasons I could think are cosmetic, to make it look abit better than having track marks on bare dirt. or to help with grass to grow on the newly layed and compacted ground
It's to keep the grass seed and dirt moist and to help with erosion and keep birds from eating the grass seed
How come you chose to use a 4in1 on the track loader? basically all the videos I see of skidsteers and track loaders in the US use a standard bucket? in Australia all the skidsteers come with 4in1's
because we know the right attachments for grading!
I know how to fix mine thanks
where is the dam
growed up = overgrown in grown up.
I'd ain go no whar
Chris you need to show more of what you are doing. I did not like this video because you should show more detail
If you don't like what Chris films then go watch something else.
