Great video tutorial! Just wanted to add a few things; The EM1 clutch master cylinder is designed for a shorter clutch pedal ratio than the RSX, which means that the distance the clutch rod travels when the pedal is depressed is shorter. If the EM1 clutch master cylinder is installed without swapping the rod and fork, the clutch pedal will have too much travel, which can cause problems such as a soft or spongy clutch pedal, difficulty shifting, and premature clutch wear. So I definitely recommend swapping the rod as well!! 🙂
Thanks bud. I’m bout to put this kit in this weekend and I’ll swap over the “oem bracket thing” onto my hybrid mc. Looks like it’ll save me some time and frustration adjusting pedal!
Hey when you first put in both the master and slave cylinder did you have pressure on the pedal at all? I installed mines and my pedal doesn’t even come back up?
mine started to stick to the floor only for 1 and 2nd.. (not as bad for the rest of the gears). I bled the clutch fluid and still the same issue but not as bad. any idea if its the master or slave cylinder?... or even both? lol
Thanks man your video on changing out the clutch helped out a lot and now my car is back on the road again.

Wait so grab the rod and fork from the OEM and put it on the new Hybrid racing Master Cylinder?
@@Djmanboy14 yup
Thanks for the video! I just bought the same setup and came across the same issue while installing it today.
Dennis it says in the instructions on Hybrid Racing website to swap the original push rod and clevis over.

@JDM Dennis
Did you change the plunger to the OEM plunger or left the hybrid plunger? Thanks. Great video!
You need to swap both the pushrod and clevis from your stock one
What was the deflection on the clutch pedal? 1/4 inch?
What’s that pump called?
