"it hasn't been released yet" "I've got to be a little secretive" ... this has even lower signal to noise ratio than all those Facebook "look it arrived" posts that at last seem to dim down now ;D
Had an X100T, and was thinking about this, but I will buy a Leica Q2 or Q3. More chance of finding a Leica than a Fuji anyway, if the V supply is anything to go by.
Can anyone tell me why these are so popular? I just don't get it. A 35mm on crop sensor. What is so special about it that separates it from many other cameras of a similar stature????? There are many counterparts in the market. Some which offer full-frame without fixed lens. I feel like people who know nothing about photography just want an all-in-one portable device for Instagram or something. Not saying it's a bad camera. It just is insanely over hyped.
With worldwide pre-orders for this camera being nearly 1 million and current production at 15,000 per month, is it hopeless to place a pre-order for this camera now?
Not sure if this is helpful but we're keeping the story up to date as we can - www.dpreview.com/news/4766224430/how-to-order-the-fujifilm-x100vi-limited-edition
Umm, @ElevatedThreat was asking about the "standard" edition of the VI, but the article linked by @DPreview in response only addresses the Limited edition. What's going on DPReview?
I do like seeing Richard present for DPRTV and this is a nice summary. Please consider a full review video to go alongside the excellent written articles you’ve already published on the X100VI
cant wait for this one to be sold out immediately while all previous versions sell for ridiculous prices cause of all the youtubers driving up the price
And has the same old lens that can not resolve any more details that the 40 mp sensor provides. Sensor stabilisation that is not very useful at 35 ml. Basically $200 more for the same camera that is now made out of Chinesium. Where did labor cost savings go? It's like in the guitar world trying to sell a Chinese made Fender or Gibson for more money than the American made ones. Fuji fail.
Seems like ancient tech, no zoom or changing lenses thus I presume useless for video unless you are chair youtuber -> who else buys these? The equivalent of disposable 35mm film wedding cameras in a digital form...
It's the same tech they've had since like 2019, they used in the X100V except this is the high resolution sensor version. a7 to a7R kind of thing. Of course it's ancient Fujifilm hasn't really done anything new for years. 😂
Give that guy a bonus for posting so quick 💰💰💰
😅😅😅
I love this guy he's soo good at narating video and short tour of a product now he improving a lot talking in front of camera. ❤
Whys this dude dressed like sherlock holmes
In my city, the X100VI costs the same as the Nikon ZF + 40mm F2. I got the Nikon and couldn’t be happier.
That's crazy.
Woah, right on time. Lol

Waiting for Sony RX2 or Leica DLux8.

Ah, another day dawns where I will push the rock up the hill, have my organs eaten by birds, and hear about the X100 again. What divine punishment. 😂

I rather buy a used Nikon D850.
Damn, knew I should've waited for the 11
i have an original x100, i still dont know what the hype is. camera with a fixed lens thats about it....
40MP sensor with the same lens? What's the point of using a soft lens with that level of resolution?
So you’ve sold yours?
The V got a new lens, the older lens was soft.
I pre-ordered mine almost two months ago. Still nothing yet.
DPRTV What happened?
His dressing! 😂😂😂😂😂😂
Why upload this on April 12th?
Better late than never? 😂
I agree
@@dpreview no, not really.
Imagine if they uploaded this on April 1.
Paying so much and it’s not even made in Japan.
