here's a quick stat overview for the elden ring/bloodborne players out there: POWER is your strength stat, it's for heavy weapons that take forever to come out but hit like a TRUCK when you do connect. excellent for slower enemies and bosses, but unless it has a LOT of impact (stagger) damage and/or sweeping attacks they're more than a little difficult to use outside of boss arenas in this frantic movement based game. AGILITY: contrary to the name THIS ACTUALLY HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH STAMINA OR HOW FAR YOU DASH OR I-FRAMES. this is this game's version of dexterity (or skill in bloodborne), faster smaller weapons scale with this. this stat is all about weapons that don't hit hard but hit fast and have very generous start up and ending lag, letting you dance in and out of engagements with ease. excellent for juggling multiple smaller enemies or applying status effects, not too great at actually doing damage on bosses. this is your bloodborne blades of mercy, or your dark souls 3 corvian greatknife. these weapons do immobilize damage more than actual damage, which is the lock on diamond's fill up effect. when this procs your enemy is essentially stance broken if you play elden ring, get in that front stab! ELEMENTAL ALCHEMY is essentially your arcane/bloodtinge stat in a way for both bloodborne and elden ring. it ups your rate of status buildup per attack (like elden ring) and increases your damage for most ranged attacks that take alchemical capsules (quicksilver bullets for the bloodborne crowd). essentially the steampunk alternative to your typical "magic" stat. Fire does damager over time (DoT), frost freezes an enemy in place, and electric weapons also cause DoT but different i guess lol. (frost and fire can be countered with dashing wildly, while the electric affliction requires a consumable item to counter so watch out!) DURABILITY increases your health, meaning you can take more hits at the same armor level and survive. VIGOUR increases your stamina allowing you to dash and sprint around more between breaks. ENGINEERING boosts your armor, reducing damage per hit, along with a side bonus of increasing the chances of finding items when farming enemies. i'd personally recommend most new players start with the bodyguard class for the giant boost to durability and engineering, making you far more sturdy in a fight, while leaving your attacking stats completely empty for you to play around with to your liking. highly recommend agility/alchemy though, for that chip damage/status effect playstyle that is easier to figure out than power playstyles at first at least
Tip 23 should include that you can sell all your spirit essence at vestals to stock up on them there. This can be a very useful liquid asset, you lose out on some anima essence every time you buy spirit essence back but it can be used to your advantage if you do it right. You don't drop spirit essence when you die 😅
Just downloading the game, can't wait to get stuck in, particularly now I possess some very useful tips from your video so merci boucoup for sharing the knowledge!
to add a bit more to the grenade section yea it does take all the challenge out of the game but improved explosive grenades are even more broken spoiler for one of the bosses down below knight the centar the improved explosive grenades against it will make the centar flinch every time he is hit so you can just make him keep flinching indefinetly and he will barely react
The normal oil is actually very useful in combat. You can pull on it at any time. So, even when your health is next to max you can pull a oil and start engaging in combat knowing that some of the damage you take will be negated by the HOT. There is also nothing stopping you from using the burette at the same time.
My tip. DO save your essence. If you die before you can get back to your essence, you lose everything. Hold onto your saved sense so that if that happens and you’re low on supplies that are needed, you can use them and re-up on supplies.
yeah I always save these things and use them to get enough souls/essence/whatever to buy that next level as well. I rarely use them to buy supplies with because grinding a few enemies usually gives enough essence for that
After the first boss in forest the game gradually becomes easier n easier.. The enemy variety is pretty much the same in the entire game... So if you get 1 tactics that worked it works the entire game as the enemies has minimal variety
the most important tip use weapon that has counter attack u can counter attack 99% of all enemies attack and harm them as well if u have attribute to the weapon like fire
About 6hrs in. Combat wise it's kinda similar to Enotria. I don't believe the 'it's too easy' crowd. After upgrading my weapon 2-3x's the game's slightly harder than Bloodborne.
Great list for beginners I purchased yesterday for PS5 an been rocking all day I'm a Soulsboene Veteren & just finished Thymesia which in my opinion this is way better I chose soldier for starting class I'm searching for t grayling hook I've trying to avoid walkthrough and doing blind Rd an yest the fire grenade are OP nevertheless it a awesome game I'm sure Lies of P will super smash this I hope Spider keeps this series going with a part 2 or DLC ,Cheers
Honestly, I didn't find anything about this game particularly alluring. The world itself sort of feels empty and abandoned, like you are just merely piecing together the events in the after math. It also doesn't help that all you really fight are various levels of automatons that are devoid of any real personality beyond combat and the levels don't really vary too often beyond the drabby abandoned atmosphere. Therefore the story has to be really well written for people to keep playing through. Also Is it me or do most French devs seem to largely focus on historical events? I mean AC games were largely a giant history lesson before it dove head deep into myhtical RPG territory.
it feels empty and abandoned because the automatons have turned against the people. there are dead bodies everywhere in piles. the few that are alive are hiding in their homes. your character is the one automaton that has a sense of free will amd not apart of the automatons going crazy and murderous
@@slipstream7324 Yeah I get that but the world just never feels like it has been lived in. I think only fighting automatons makes for a real sterile combat.
I beat it without a single point in HP. That’s how much a baby souls this was. Such an easy game. It ruins it completely. 6/10 for being so easily accessible

for tip 8, any building with the red white and blue target above the door will have people you can interact with
This game is free on plus now ❤
Nice!

I went for an armour heavy set up, and used lots of oil. There ends up being very few foes that can serously threaten your life after a while.
Super-duper guide! 💞 I'll have to rewatch it once the game comes out.
I also hope to catch some of your live streams soon. 👀

Thanks for the tips. They'll be very helpful.

Does resting at vestals restock your oil/healing flasks?
Great rapid fire tips.
Quick & to the point👻 🗡️🤖

Where exactly do I find the tool to destroy the green symbols?
When frozen, isn't it spam the attack button? You repeated spam the dodge button for when set on fire and frozen.
thx nice tips

Endurance lol VIGOUR
This game is so fucking confusing, with no real map is super frustrating as well
welcome to the soulslike genre
You've a compass that literally points where to go

I beat it without a single point in HP. That’s how much a baby souls this was. Such an easy game. It ruins it completely. 6/10 for being so easily accessible
You cannot compare it to a souls game because it’s not in the same design category as one.
All souls are baby lol. Play Ninja Gaiden or even Nioh
