I add a bit of water, leave it and it puffs up.

I stopped dyeing my own hair 15 month’s ago, but dyed my own hair for 20 plus year’s. I used to have scalp psoriasis so that’s why I stopped. I missed my blonde at first but I’m used to my white, silver & grey now. Also not had psoriasis since I stopped dyeing. The purple shampoo also brightens my white up and tones down the 2 inches of dyed blonde I still have. Purple shampoo really helped with the growing out process. Great video Becca, I've done all kinds to my hair over the years with various results. I did also train to be a hairdresser but didn't qualify. I did gents hair mainly but learnt a lot about ladies. Using purple shampoo I've used
roughly four to six days after colouring blonde and also using bleach, never left it on longer than three minutes rinsed it off and it's been fine. It is used to take out any brassy colour in the blonde. The more often you use it you will end up with a lilac to deeper purple. It also works great when you've used grey or silvery colours.

hii! my hair is quite dark. I have that 40 developer. If i were to use it itself without bleach would it lighten my hair? not to blonde just lighter

The breakage you can prevent if u water down your peroxide.
So I'm guessing your using the 9 percent you can water it down using one part water one part peroxide or Google bleach bath and put shampoo in the mix just to dilute it
Or use a lesser volume peroxide
Less damage if u use a 6 %
Would love my hair your colour, my hairs near enough grown out, would you suggest doing what you did but all the way to the ends then the toner afterwards, how did you apply the toner?
Yes I would suggested using this technique going all the way down I would just be very careful in how long your leaving it on your head for. I apply the toner in the shower just like conditioner and leave it on for half hour. Thanks for watching hun xx

bit late to this video, if any one could give me some advice pls do!
I had black and red split hair for about a month and a half them decided i wanted to go back blonde, so i started stripping it, using colour remover countless times, used some blonde intense lighter then my auntie (ex professional hair dresser) said i should go ginger for my holiday so it would give my hair a break from everything amd i would have my hair all the same colour it was fully bright orange, looked like my hair was on fire it faded quite a bit then tried to get rid of that by using colour remover and difftent strippers and blonde intense lighter skip to now i’m using this my hairs fairly light now and my roots at the tops of my head are now fully white but the rest of my hair is blonde but it’s still got bits of ginger and i’ve no idea how to get rid of it, i’ve never used a toner so is that something i should use? keeping in mind i’ve done all this myself at home with occasional help reaching spots at the back of my head etc, never gotten my hair done at a salon i prefer to do it at home yeah it would properly be easier and less hassle getting it done at a professional but i’d rather not just my option!
So is the lightener just normal powder bleach and are the bottles just normal developers?

Yes I’ve done this in the past. I’d just be careful with you having brown hair depending on how dark it is x

Hiya 🥰 I really enjoyed watching this! I've been bleaching my own roots for over a year now but I've always been unsure about conditioners that you can add to the bleach mixture 🤦🏻♀️
Can I just ask, does it have to be the Olaplex or can you mix the bleach with ANY conditioner?
Also, when you use just half of one of your cream peroxide bottles, can you use the other half on a later date? (Will it still work once it's been opened?)

Ive been dying mine since 14, 39 now so bit of a old hand at it ha I've been highlighting for last 10 yrs I do it all myself but if anyone's about I do give them a shout to help with the bk my 21 Yr old son got the job last time 😂 they can't get away from me sadly in lockdown x
You can order a huge thing of powder bleach and a 20 volume developer on Amazon for under 20$ and it will last you years instead of spending this much each time. I get most of my stuff at Sally’s tho so maybe your stuff isn’t so expensive here in the states a box of bleach kit is like 14-15$. But for your hair color that isn’t bleached you should NEVER USE that high of a volume peroxide!! Mine is the same shade as yours. I even use a 7 volume sometimes if it’s taking me a long time so it orocesss slower
