Nice unboxing! Definitely a game I am waiting for desperately. Amazing how many monsters there are in the core box alone. Will have to wait 2-3 weeks since i am in Canada.
We hope it gets too you soon! We also really enjoy that in the campaign you wont fight every monster in the game and you will fight each monster at a different difficulty level as well. It encourages you to play the campaign multiple times.
Yes I was able to fit everything back in! I had to turn all the dividers for the helms, items, potions etc. sideways for the little plastic tray to fit on top like it was! I was thinking about making a re boxing video if that would help?
We have managed to get this to the table a few times now and completed 2 chapters of the campaign. We have fought the Vyraxen, Ozew and Toramat. Our first impressions is it lives up to the hype in terms of production and boss battly nature. The mechanic of the monster reacting to what you do is amazing and each monster reacts differently. The crafting of the forge and deck building is phenomenal as well. The one downside we would say about the game so far is there are so many little steps you need to remember in a round as you play and sometimes they activate and some they don't. Some of the steps we commonly forget are: Escalation (when monster decks out he gains struggle), Drawing 2 attrition cards when you are threatened instead of 1, Taking a threatened token when you don't move and switching the aggro token to the player who plays aggro cards.
@@gamingwiththepowers full agree on the somewhat high level of upkeep to remember. Plus, the number of different keywords and tokens has caused a few moments of high management levels
Shame about the broken mini. I hope they replace it. Looks like you might be missing the level 2 metal forge as well? Unless it was tucked behind another one.
@gamingwiththepowers nope all I've gotten is an email from UPS stating Gamerati has a package they are shipping me. Got that email 2/16 we are now at 2/25 with no movement of my package.
Yeah if the worst thing was that we are missing is the arms of a smaller mini we are okay. Would have been super disappointing if we were missing a part of a monster. We played a game last night and you barely even notice the hunter minis so it wasn't a big deal having a guy with no arms lol
After seeing the game board and the crease I have some concerns that repeated use may cause it to tear down the crease. Do you think it'll hold up? Will I regret not getting the neoprene mat?

@gamingwiththepowers that is great!
So many monsters for core! 😲
There's even more for the Expansions. Loads of content 😅😅😅
So much that they have to ship it in a separate package lol
I think we get 9 more monsters with expansions and stretch goals plus 2 more heroes.
Were you able to fit everything back in? I couldn't fit all the square cards back in.

@@gamingwiththepowers When the add-ons come in I would like to see how you store it.
Thoughts now that youve gotten (hopefully) atleast one game in? What monsters have you gotten to fight so far if i may ask too

Wow those mind reading powers... How did you know the game was coming in 2003? When the board game is bigger than the host...
See there is this thing called words and sometimes Jake is not good at them haha!!
@@gamingwiththepowersDont worry I do the same on my channel.

Yeah we will have to email them. So thanks for pointing that out, we checked and did find it was stuck to the lvl 1 forge card!
I'm still waiting for my copy of Primal sadly. And the wait is killing me
We hope you get it soon! Did you get a tracking link at least?

Lolz bummer about the great sword. Fortunately it wasn't one of the monsters

F in the chat boys, that greatswordsman fought Valiantly against the vyraxen and lost his arms
Let's gooooooo!!!!

We honestly think it should hold up pretty well, but the playmat is hands down a must! And it fits in the back without having to be rolled up
