Hey Glen, I feel you. I’m at that point to where I just don’t feel it anymore and waiting for something to get me going again. I’ve got so many projects I want to do but just lost the passion. I also have several NIB kits I have waiting to be built but just don’t feel the urge to start them.

I can't wait for you to start building again and I hope you get the turbo optima and laser dirt cross and maybe the fast attack vehicle in August. I hope you'll also want to get the gold pan that just came out for the associated rc10.

I have to admit that the Optima Mid is awesome, although I'm not sold on the RC10 CC, just seems a bit pointless to me. I wasn't 'feeling' the hobby a while ago, but recently I've got into off-road racing, got myself an FTX Apachce which is fantastic. I also got a Kyosho Ultima, not finished it yet, but it'll definitely be raced when it's done!!
Want a Optima Mid. And want the Lazer rere that is coming.

I built my Optima Mid a while back fully decked out with the GM Kyosho optional parts CF chassis and upper deck etc etc with the full intention to race it AND I still haven’t 🤦♂️😂 it just looks to mint. Between rere take off parts and a collection of original NOS parts (including an original used harden Turbo Optima mid chassis) I might build another and run that
Just got my RC10 40th with the intention to build and run that too we’ll see how that goes 😂
I just got my 40th anniversary RC10. It will look nice next to my restored RC10 A stamp that was a flea-bay basket case pickup 2 years ago.

Hi Glenn this is right up my street!! Love the optima mid. Been saving up for the 60th since it’s release they are pricey but look really cool. I have been collecting kits for a few years but at present I have no time to put anything together. I just open the boxes from time to time and have a look at all the parts, anyway really great video and thanks for sharing best wishes and take care

The Kyosho optima mid is an absolute dream to build but the team associated rc10cc is the complete opposite a right pain only save and grace is it’s a basic kit to build but once you’ve finished you have a stunning buggy but patience is definitely required 😊

The thing i hate is the car costs so much and all the extra bits costs almost as much as the car... Expensive car..

Just threw down for a 40th anniversary edition of the RC10 to pair with my original, and owned since NEW, '94 Worlds car. I'll build it as I feel the urge.
Life takes us all in various directions and at different times, so, enjoy at YOUR pace, Glenn. We all know you'll post something when you get the bug again.

At the time of this video, the 40th Anniversary is out, and way too pricey for what they both are. Collectors with money wont care, but those of us a little less cashed up really have to take stock of what takes priority. Not interested in the RC10s that are re-released now. Prefer the 870c even being more expensive, id make it happen.
The big problem it Kyosho is the same.spare parts
I’m sorry to do this to you old soul but the driveshafts aren’t universals, just standard bones and cups. Thinking they were unis was what swung it for me when I bought one - £50 more than the other options kits! Got it home and was a bit disheartened… Made it instantly into a runner and now love it. Looking forward to see the turbo build anyway mate.
