Lush and beautiful! Every new instrument processed through the Matriarch is so inspiring to me. I just plugged in my guitar for the first time a few weeks ago, and it is incredibly satisfying and rich as a sound processor. It's a shame that you had to sell your Moogerfooger, but I'd say you made the right call. One sold on Reverb only a few days ago for more than I paid for my entire Matriarch! I know the delays aren't identical, but I think it is a pretty solid deal to get the rest of the synth thrown in with your purchase. Thanks for making videos that inspire me to make music!

That's super kind of you to say. I really loved the MF104, but the prices got so inflated when they were discontinued that it started making me nervous to use it. As you said, the Matriarch delay certainly isn't the exact same, but the patch points allow you to accomplish many of the same tricks. Plus it's stereo, which is a nice plus.

Very orchestral! These two sound great together!

@@RiverDawson Thanks. I agree! The pedal steel is a sadly neglected instrument. It's nice too see a handful of musicians employing it for ambient music. So many possibilities.

This is just the meditative state I needed, the place these sounds carried me through. So deep and beautiful…calming and uplifting, too. Thank you for sharing and helping to create this sweet Friday vibe! 🙏🏼🌀✨ Pretty cool slide guitar you have there!

Right on!! It’s all about spreading love and peace, and I feel such love and peace and healing through music. I’m grateful to have found this special niche of ambient music makers. You are all inspirational!! Keep on playing, as music truly makes the work go ‘round!! 🕊💕🌀

Sweeping and lush, as others have said. Great idea the pedal steel through the Matriach! Bravo.

Thank you. It's a weird pairing for sure, but the pedal steel has so many musical possibilities beyond its more traditional country employment. Thanks for the encouragement.

Kind of an odd pairing, but I've been working more and more on pedal steel over the last couple of months. 🌅

Huge pedal steel fan. This reminds me of very early MMJ.

Thanks. It's an underrated instrument for sure. If you mean My Morning Jacket, I'm also a fan, though I haven't listened to their early stuff in ages. Relistened to Circuital just a bit ago. Wish there was more psych alt country like that.

D u u u u d e. You’re doing some cool sh!t. Love it. About half way there was a nice energetic wave that was hard to come back to reality from.

Thanks Jon. A little inspired by your Dvna pieces to try and incorporate some more strings. The pedal steel offers a world of both pitch bending and micro-tonal possibilities.

I contemplated whether or not to include the Microcosm. Honestly, I've never had such mixed feelings about a pedal. On one hand, it's adds a beautiful wash to everything, but it also kind of colors everything to sound like itself. I'll try and upload a Matriarch and pedal steel exclusive video sometime in the future.
