  • We'll diagnose why your machine is having trouble cutting and give you some tips so you don't waste materials, blades, and cut strips! This works for both the BN-20/A and the Roland BN2-20A. This is a desktop sized eco-solvent printer that can print about 18 inches wide max with practically limitless length. I'll use Adobe Illustrator for this workflow.

LOVE your channel and always great videos! With doing contour cuts, how often do you go through cut strips? Also, what is the cut strip replacement like? Is it difficult? Thanks again for all of your help!

Thank you!! I have not yet changed my cut strip surprisingly! I have one on hand and ready to replace, but have not needed to yet. When I do I'll make a video on it. But I believe you just wedge it out and pop the new one in.

Thank you for being clear and concise, what 6 mil vinyl do you use and where do you source it from?

I'm using Wall Flair from directly from Roland's online store:

Can you tell me if you do a conture cut then a perf cut do you have to pause the machine after conture cut to lower the blade in the blade holder? Love the video very helpful

No need to pause and change settings. In the software you can input two different blade pressures, one for contour and one for perf, so it cuts one right after the other. Thanks and happy to help!
