Here's what I know about the gentlemen from Bargain Block. I know them not only to be hard working and creative, but they are true humanitarians. I admire them both so much! You would think that some wealthy black celebrity would want to go into these neighborhoods in cities like Detroit, Chicago, Gary, Philidelphia etc., and do this to bring back black neighborhoods. People like Oprah, Jay-Z & Beyonce, Sean Combs they all have the money to go into these neighborhoods and rebuild the urban decay that is destroying them. But who is actually doing it? A couple of gay white men. And instead of going into these places and over improving them, they're fixing them up so they're safe, functional, beautiful and affordable. Gentrifying the neighborhood would only push black couples who've grown up in the neighborhood out. These guys are my heroes. God bless them both. Keith and Evan, keep showing them how it's done guys!

Instead of Giving Them at least One Reward on Their "Perspectives of Design" They didn't Win One Episode When They went up Against the Best of those Designers Faves... Honestly felt They Deserved at Least One win... But those they matched them against were already "Established in the Design World"& Well LOVED 😍.. They Really haven't sort the Limelight their too Busy;" Building There Gifts in the Wearhouse of Heaven" 💖... Truly they Deserve There Wings.💯%.. They've got My Vote as their very Humble.....Love These Two & Their Love of Design.!!!..Totally Awesome Duo !!! How They've put their LiVeS in Many Difficult Scenarios too Truly Make a Difference...Totally See 🙈 Why there Attracted to Each Other...they Both Have" Big Hearts"...Hate : How the City keeps" Rising Those Prices on Them",as they go to buy new homes after they've Upgraded These Neighborhoods Condition but isn't that what Beauracratic Wealth Does !!! PS} "Rock the Block"; Could've Given Them More Props but Am Happy To See Them Weekly on TV...Props for That... Maybe they're Just learning How to Actually Get into a much higher grade of Designing when at least they rubbed elbows with the Best...Meaning their Loved Enough they Got to Learn Some New Ideas while Rocking the Block... After All there Loved by Everyone Who Meets Them, it seems to me because their fellow Designers we're Amazed by How the Designed too....Maybe Next Time ;When they get another Opportunity to do a Redo on Rock the Block they'll Win It, this Time !! As it taught them some New Ideas as working with the Best Will do That and they've obviously earned Respect From There Peers... So they took Their lemons and now producing better Lemonade this season on there Show as they've Upgraded there Designs too..Sometimes You Gotta just ride with the Flow and they Are...Props Guys..

Why do we have to wait on celebrities to do it why can’t you do it and get together with some of your friends and family, with the money We expect too much out black celebrities they are not gods
I watch them from Serbia, they make me thinking of doing similar at this end, I so much love their UNIQUE world. They were definitely deprived of the award in the competition, since their work was at least one whole level up. Keep up the good work, lot’s of love from a girl from Belgrade! 🎻

This is the best HGTV production they have ever done. Evan and Keith are doing a great thing for the run down communities of Detroit! They are the perfect couple and partners in their business. Keith is such a creative, imaginative, and talented artist. My mother and I both absolutely love watching these two! I wish them the very best!

Born (in the 40's) & lived in downtown Detroit until moving to Redford Township at 5 years old. These creative guys are amazing in every endeavor they take. Shea & her husband add such wonderful qualities to this, my most beloved, program.
I LOVE these two guys. I have to admit I have a man crush on Evan, but im happily married too. I love their attitude for making these communities better and to see the neighbors come to life with interest in making THEIR community better is just a blessing. Some of the creative ideas are not practical but they do get the house sold, and for someone to be able to afford a fully furnished home is a GREAT thing to give to an individual or a family. Without this, many of these people will never be able to own a home of their own. I also have to say that these two are so relaxed and down to earth that it is refreshing that they dont "act" for the camera. and unlike "property brothers", they actually do the work themselves.
Oh man!! Evan had me at the opening credits of their very first episode! LOL
Lol, I think my husband has a man-crush on Evan too, but I just love Keith. 😍🥰

Keith and Evan have created one of the best shows on HGTV and television---Their personalities---their creativity and sense of realism really make for a terrific show---I hope they are on for a long time and I wish them well in all they do---I admire their personal and work ethic as well

Now that Shea has had her baby boy, I can see Keith and Evan teaching him the trades and basically spoiling him.

This is by far my favorite HGTV show. No other show has such talented and relatable hosts and their business model gives first-time homeowners the chance to purchase truly custom properties. You have to love Keith's "more is more" attitude, Evan valiantly trying to rein him in (then caving), and Shea's reactions to some of the more run-down properties they tour as well as Keith's less subtle design choices. It was nice to see in the video that Keith and Evan own clothing that isn't covered in paint.
So happy to see Keith, Evan, and Shea are prospering- they certainly deserve it!
I hope this show stays on forever.
I've watched every single show from Day 1 of this Amazing show. Fell in love with these two fabulous individuals creating and renovating homes left to die and get torn down. Love that they will go around neighborhoods and pick up furniture that home owners don't want and consider trash which these young men will turn to treasures for a new home owner of one of their finished creations. Was happy to see that Keith is a fellow Texan like me that came home on previous show. As I also have renovated several homes myself is why I started watching HGTV from day one and have continued to watch.
Blessings to all out there that renovated homes and make our neighborhoods shine with Pride again. 💞

The BEST show on HGTV ever! I’ve been watching HGTV since the very beginning and this is by far the most enjoyable and fun to watch …the three of them just really click …Shay’s laugh is infectious and she’s adorable and the guys are just so cool and talented.
I’m always blown away with what they create out of ashes & rumble but then on top of that they charge the bare minimum so that those who would never afford a place of their own can. This to me would be like a rebirth. Thank you Men & the Lady that works with you & HGTV. God is blessing us using you!!

It was really unique to see a rehab show where the hosts actually lived and worked on site. I still love that they sell cheap, FURNISHED WITH THRIFT ITEM homes, but something has been lost since they have been able to hire crews to do the heavy work.
Shea is actually an amazingly beautiful and photogenic woman…a star herself!

One of my favorite HGTV show, I love these two.
Bargain Block was the only show where I would each new episode live each week instead of on demand. Will do the same with Shea's excellent new show.
The new season had a nice variety of houses that were renovated.
Even with Shea's limited time on screen, she still comes across as the true heart of the show. The boys with Shea and her husband, definitely come across as "found family". They deserve a longer season.

This is my very Favorite hgtv show and I'm happy to find this great message about them. They have so much fun working together. Keith is so darn talented, it's unbelievable. The highlight of the show for me is watching him create such beautiful and creative art work. I was in a care facility for 3 months because of a problem during heart surgery and I couldn't wait until they were on tv. I would and still do watch them all day when its there turn for there weekly show. My only problem is that I want to watch them Every Day. I would love to buy something you

We love this show! Believing one bad apple has destroyed Detroit, so wrong! A conversation with someone who doesn’t look like you….opens your eyes and heart. We all bleed the same. I love these guys! ❤️❤️❤️ Evan, Keith and Shay have revitalized several neighborhoods in Detroit and I just love to see the houses when they buy them, rehab them/rebuild them, design and furnish them with Keith’s sometimes unusual sense of design that always turn out fabulous. I am waiting to see if another season is planned because I watched the past seasons repeatedly and want updated info on the trio since it has been months since any new content has been on HGTV.

I love this show! It’s real. Unlike others that say a total bathroom remodel is 3000. When they spend that on a sink and toilet. These guys are the real deal! Plus helping the folks that need help!
