      @@DaveGeezer I know, but it doesn't have one. I also think my garage floor has something to do with it as I was playing around with this again over the weekend, and I noticed when I put weight on the peg, the front tire kicks out at least an inch. Perhaps on a gripper surface, it would feel more stable. I need to test more.

      @@Tony.Pickett if you have trouble mastering the side stand peg up, invest in an aftermarket center stand. Suspension is a key in that on the RE the travel sags more creating instability. On dirt or loose gravel ground this can result in failure. Always when mounting using the peg up method, apply the front break to add stability. This a key manoeuvre. Hold the front break when mounting. Try never to mount from the right side. Never. Too unstable. It causes the side stand to lose grip with ground. Hope this helps.
