@@alienbiker5036 I am building a trust in the Triumph although unless I am carrying a large bag I can get on and off ok without needing the pegs. The Scram though, I am still working on that one. Most bikes I have no problems with issues with using the pegs though, it's just the Royal Enfield.

Hope the bike is going well. The seat bolt is a stupid design, especially if you have a top box carrier on the back like mine. You can, however, remove the seat without taking the pillion pad off, you just have to give it a good pull to get it out from under the pad.

@@DaveGeezer I know, but it doesn't have one. I also think my garage floor has something to do with it as I was playing around with this again over the weekend, and I noticed when I put weight on the peg, the front tire kicks out at least an inch. Perhaps on a gripper surface, it would feel more stable. I need to test more.

@@Tony.Pickett if you have trouble mastering the side stand peg up, invest in an aftermarket center stand. Suspension is a key in that on the RE the travel sags more creating instability. On dirt or loose gravel ground this can result in failure. Always when mounting using the peg up method, apply the front break to add stability. This a key manoeuvre. Hold the front break when mounting. Try never to mount from the right side. Never. Too unstable. It causes the side stand to lose grip with ground. Hope this helps.

@@rkr6237 Yes the pipes can get pretty warm. I rode this past Saturday in temperatures of about 100F and those pipes were borderline uncomfortable. The good news is the weather is going to start getting cooler soon, and I might start to appreciate the warmth! As for the lean, it's funny you should mention that as I don't feel a pull to one side, but when cornering the bike leans a lot cleaner to the right than to the left. It's not a lot but it is noticable. Next time I take the scrambler out, I will pay more attention to that.

I think so. Not a fast bike, but a great bike.

I really didn't as I am not a fan of the look of the speed twin, whereas I am a fan of the look of the Scrambler. Also, there are a lot of dirt roads where I live, so some capability on dirt is a bonus.

Hi, beautiful bike. Just wondering how you’re getting on with your scrambler. Is heat from the pipes an issue? Also, I’ve heard that this bike pulls a bit to one side due to the location of the pipes, has that been your experience as well? Thanks

Outstanding! 🎉 Us Picketts have to stick together. Get the Scram. Like I said in the video, it's not fast, or even that peppy but I find it an absolute joy to ride.
