- San Francisco radio station KITS 105.3 FM (Live 105) organized a free Lush concert in Union Square on April 15, 1992, with emcee Steve Masters. Set list:

The audio track is from Camera 4, as this is the only continuous take. The other three have gaps, which you'll notice as those quadrants go black every so often. The audio track was running about a quarter second behind on my copy, which I fixed by shifting the entire audio track by 8 frames.
The video from Camera 3 was slightly slower than the other three. (Perhaps the VCR that was used in the digitization was slightly slower than the camera.) This was remedied by removing a single frame every few minutes.
The original intent was to use this video to find the best bits to create a single, continuous concert video. I ended up liking this format better. Just let your eyes wander from quadrant to quadrant, and decide for yourself which bits are the best. The cameras are a bit shaky in the beginning. Just stick with it, it gets a lot better towards the middle and end.

I am the filmer of source #1, the very first thing music-inclined I ever recorded. Thanks for preserving footage cameras 2-4 even though the component sources aren't on YT any more. And yes, that's bloody Kennedy that you can see at the back of the stage. Why?????

Micki was so great here. Funny banter with the crowd, merrily bopping on that 12-string, fronting the band at the height of their powers. That she's a total smoke show doesn't hurt, either. We should all have such a period of brilliance at least once in our life.
Cool, just happened upon this. Back when Chris was still alive and Miki had red hair. (I had much less gray hair back then.)
I was there. I see myself in the front row in between Miki and Emma. Thanks a lot for putting this together.
Thanx for taking time of editing all of this since i know it's rather a painstaking process - and for the link on our Yahoo Group. A good thing in these videos is the balance between the two guitars, which isn't always the case in what you can see here on YT.
You really can find anything on TH-cam. I was there over thirty years ago, and found myself idly wondering recently if anyone had videoed the performance. Several did. YT is a freaking time capsule.
I think I still have my copy of the Gala CD booklet with their signatures on it somewhere; they stuck around for a bit after the show to do autographs. For a show that was open to the public.
Ah! Wish I was there. That's a great memory. Saw them 3 times including the final show. Really should have seen them more than I did.
LIVE 105 was "THE SH*T" back then. To me, every song they played on that radio station back then was THE BEST!!! ...and this show was especially epic!!! Nothing Natural Live. It just doesn't get any better than that.

they were big smiths fans. in an interview somewhere here on YT, miki said there's footage (somewhere on YT... i couldn't find it) of a teen miki/emma in the front row at an early smiths club gig requesting "handsome devil"

Wish I could have gone to this, but I had to teach a class that day. I did enjoy Lush's show at Slim's the night before, though.

I feel especially gifted by God to have lived at approximatively the same time as Emma, Miki and whoever else has, well, I am aware that these 2 women I have just mentionned, I'll mention Miki first this time so as not to leave her out in the cold!!!! Excuse me, PLEASE, you 2 in particular, for the simple reason (as if I was gifted ENOUGH to know them both personally!), well, you know, I have simply lost track completely, I just can't explain myself right at this moment in time, for TOTALLY having lost it...!-just for now; however, if I don't really bother anyone, I will absolutely take this up again once more, at a later time! (I have no idea when).

of note that after the show the SFPD came to get people out of the area, so Bill Clinton could do a rally there that evening in the historic Union Square.
