DONT BUY UNLESS YOU NEED TO BUY
Don't buy unless you got no games to play like most people lol
@@redclaw72666 i mean you could sail the seas
I bought the 4070super and I am so happy playing at 1440p all games high fps
@adlibconstitution1609 same. Just made my first pc with 7800x3d and 4070 ti super and its been really fun to play games.
@@richit9981 hey man, im thinking of having the same build what case, power supply and motherboard would you recommend? im thinking of b650-p for mobo and gigabyte gaming for gpu and corsair 4000d case.
Just look at the 3000 series. They are nearly as expensive as the 4000 series. So the launch of the 5000 won't instantly cause a drop in price for 4000. That and scalpers and inventory means that any 5000 series that launches will take 6 months minimum to get into most people's hands.
If y get it from store yes but used I see a 3090 for 600
If you can find them look at the rx 6000 series. For example the rx 6800 has been around for under 400 lately new. Glad I got a 6800xt late last year for 440.
What are you on about?? you can readily pick up a 3090 for £600-£650, that card was £1200+ before the 4000 series, and dropped soon after, the reason the lower in the stack has kept its value is demand, eg. throw a small overclock on a 3060 and you have a 4060 with 12gb vram and no frame gen and for £260, its a no brainer.
@@TriPBOOMERdon’t forget regarding frame generation, I think you can use amds newest versions of fsr and maybe their frame generation tech on the older nvidia cards ironically lol.
@@Averagedude-mi3fl Oh I haven't forgotten Nvidia knows how to 'dress' the appeal of a generation, I mean there might be some BS hardware reason, and that is coming from a Nvidia user. and yes FSR FR is available on 3000 series and earlier, but ironically it probably works better on a 3000 series Nvidia, purely because of Reflex+ to help with its latency
I bought a 4070 Ti Super recently and honestly I'm set until 2028. I'll just ride this one out.

Hoping price to performance gets a significant improvement in the near future as things have been stagnant for way too long. my 3060 which I've only had for 2 years is already having to make compromises at 1080p to get a 60+fps in newer games. I have to pay around double the price to get a newer "mid range" card

6700 XT has 12gb of VRAM, it plays at 1440p with no issues.
Well might as well bury those hopes. The graphics market saw people paying double or more for scalped video cards so they saw the market could handle increased prices. Blame all of those people for paying well above MSRP for today’s prices.
Great video, thanks. Keep it up.
Buy used Gpu if u really need to buy now.
Dont buy new gpu.
Looking at how intel arcs just keeps getting better with each driver updates, im really excited for battlemage.
Same. I got burned by NVIDIA and I thought I’d go with something else completely. Running an ASRock Arc A770 16GB, drivers just keep getting better. Not looking back.
good advice and here is another thing you might want to consider, the halving happened a few hours ago and the crypto cycle is starting again, it wont happen overnight and nothing is guaranteed but gpu scarcity might come back "soon"
Good video! I’ve been thinking about making a similar video lol. I’m so behind these days. I think waiting is best if a person can.
I would also wait to see issues popping up via reviews (Thanks to your videos I'm thinking about buying and AMD cpu for my first DIY build) better late than sorry!
Good report and the best prices on current run end have started and deepen into q3 and q4 entering clearance in q1 2025 and liquidation into q2 2025. mb
Bought a 4070 this other day, will last me a long time. Had the 1060 6gb for like 7 years so…
I ordered an rtx 4080 super because i sold my 3080 to my friend who had his gpu die on him. I'm not waiting 5-11 months to game again waiting for the 50 series.
no don't buy just keep on waiting forever.
If can get a brand new 4090 for around $1300 USD (taxes included) in a couple of weeks, should I pull the trigger?
Depends on what you are trying to do. For 4k gaming the 4090 is plenty fast, and buying now will save you 4-6 months of waiting.
@@johnc8327 Gaming in 4K, but also interested in running local LLMs.
You're never going to find a brand new 4090 in a couple weeks for $1300
I would say YES for sure. Theres no question that the 5090 is gonna have even higher MSRP - not to mention actually higher prices because of scalperes and demand. At the moment we are in the situation where the new gen doesn't just replace the last gen with roughly the same prices but the new gen is way more expensive meaning that the last gens prices won't drop asmuch. Now if the new card costs same then you probably won't be able to get it for a long time. If its way more expensive a lot people then go for the 4090 and the ones allready having them won't sell them. The outcome is same - the demand for the 4090 raises and the price won't drop.
Best deal would be to get second hand card from someone who is thinking of getting 5090 and selling their 4090 now for good price in fear of 5080 being faster for a 1300$ - so they are willing to selle the 4090 for like 1300 or even less. Its a far fetch but that would be the best deal.
@@mitsuhh I'm not in the US. I saw a few at $1,200 (taxes included) in November 2023. Zotac, but still.
I held onto my 4790K / GTX 1080 / SATA3 SSD combo until this month. Still running the GTX 1080, but swapped it to the 12400F, DDR5 6000, and an NVme M.2 SSD. This brought enough new life to sit back and wait on what is coming down the road for GPUs.
I think in total, I spent about $425 for everything.
I'm debating doing this too. My build is almost 8 years old and still works well with a GTX 1070 FE, but my i5 6600k and the MB is starting to face its limits.
@@roguesquadron521 Being a Founder's Edition, I would think that would do just as well or better than my GPU. I went with a mild upgrade in my opinion, but it runs so much smoother, faster, and better yet... cooler. Doesn't use as much power, too. Today is a hot day, I have been able to game all day with the CPU max temperature always below 60 DEG C, the GPU around 55 DEG C, MoBo temp about mid 50s DEG C. I am running the cooler that came with the CPU, but put an aftermarket cooler on the GPU, Morpheus II, which dropped that almost 35-40 DEG C. The computer is no longer a space heater.
How about this? You dont always have to buy the highest tier. Thats a much higher risk when closing on the newest tier. 4070 super is pretty good value right now.
I'm currently running a 6700 XT. I was planning on buying 7900xtx at the end of the month to pair with my 7800x3d. (Couldn't afford high end GPU when i built my system so tossed in my old GPU) Should I wait until the 5080/5090 comes out or just buy the 7900xtx.
Edit: I'm a Twitch streamer, I find myself maxing out the 12GB of vram pretty frequently. Typically i have to compromise on graphic settings due to vram overload. I do have a 3 monitor setup.
As streamer go for nvida
Nvida broadcast and the nvec codec since a nobrainer
@@valorantstreamerguy91 So I should wait for the 50 series then? I've gotten so use not using nvec anymore. That it doesn't really bug me. My need is more raw power and high vram. 16GB 4080 super won't cut it Vram wise I believe.

Not sure if you have a 4080 or 4090 (unless you are worried about the power connector lol). Of course if you wanna hit 240hz at UUW...
Already got 7900XTX in 4K primary PC, and an used 3090 for 2K spare PC (since AMD driver sucks). I should be fine for the next few years.
I just hope the 5080 is 1000 or under and fits in my itx build.
It will be 899 20 procent faster then 4090 4090 will be 400 2nd hand rofl
Yep, sensible advice here, good job.
Some like to just stay behind one series just to scoop up the good prices. I almost pulled the trigger on the 7900XT when it had rebate making it $649. Could keep it til the 6000 series came out and got the 5080 on sale.
I would want to wait but my 1070 just died yesterday.
Even if the 5000 come out it will take 1 Year or so to get the prices of actual 4000 series except for the 5090
Even if the MSRP of the 5090 will be 2.000$ you will still have trouble to buy one for less than 2.500$ anyway
Honestly, I appreciate the Coverage on this Video, as I'm looking to get something close to Flagship without actually being one.
I'm upgrading from a GT 1030, as it was a Placeholder / Backup GPU for a Previous GPU that I ended up selling due to Financial Hardship hitting me sooner than expected.
Right now, I'm deciding between a 6900 XT, 6950 XT, and the New 7900 GRE.
I'm also dealing with Size Limitations, as the Phanteks P300 Limits my GPU Size to No Larger than 320mm.
I'm leaning towards the Powercolor 7900 GRE Fighter, since it's only 290mm Long but still has Triple Fans.
Also there is rumors that the 5060 could still come out with only 8GB... Imagine if they charge you 400$ for that in 2025.
Wow...that would be crazy if that's true!
Great video.
Im waiting to see if the 4060 ti 16gb gets near 300 range, im not seeing these cards sell. They have always been in stock everywhere. I could use it as a backup card and hack it since its expendable
Yeah, wait at least 1.5y ;) I have 4070S. If a RTX 5070 will be so much faster for a good price, I can still trade it in. It's still ages away.
Same, I just ordered a 4070 super for 720 usd (euro prices). I can sell my 3070 for 370 usd on the used market. So its not that much money and I get a 50% boost or more with FG.
Just bought a 4090 and if new 5 series that great ill buy it in a year from now,,, i dont mind being a year or two behind at all
Iv been pretty happy with the 4080, but im interested in 5090 unless its more than a 4090
Buy when you need, but only after the latest has been released to and tested by the public.
You should always wait for the next thing. I've been waiting since 1980 to get a new PC and my Sinclair ZX80 is still kick it at a blazing 3.25Mhz. I've got my tape drive for loading all the latest games like _Zork_ and its inspiration _Adventure._ That game is so advance you'll only find it on college mainframes.
Yes you can Hold, yes there will be new products around the corner and will be better, but think about life, you dont even know what will happen next day, so get what you can afford and enjoy. I bought a 4070super just now and enjoy every minute of it, you can buy anything but not time, dont look back in couple years and start regreating the HOLDS you did today.
Buy a GPU now and be happy with it, or wait for something new.
If you wont be happy now, waiting for something new might ber right for you.
So I found someone locally selling there 4090 Card and I ended up giving them $900 cash and my RTX3090 card for it. I felt like it was a good deal. Only reason I even wanted to get the card was because, I ordered that Pimax Crystal Light headset and I wanted the best performance I could get. The 5090 card isn't a for sure thing. All Rumors. So if it is released this year. It still won't be available. Because, all the scalpers will buy em up and turn around and sell em for 2x or 3x over MSRP which will probably be overpriced already. So I figured, $900 out of pocket for a 4090 card is good. 😉👌☺️👍
I buy used rx 6800 for 290-300$ in Poland. Good deal? xD Poland have 23% vat tax on new electronic product
I'd also like to mention the influence of Rona in 40 series. There is no longer a chip shortage now due to Rona. So, it's only going to be better. No one seems to notice this.

With nvidia prices, im only looking at amd and intel. But they are still expensive for the performance offered. Nvidia n AMD want to shift the mass market for the 500$ price point. Clear as water.
Amd Radeon is down 50% revenue for the quarter. They have to offer something competitive in order to increase revenue. I am waiting.
Yeah I'm looking into RDNA 4 as well. I just hope Battlemage comes out on time.
As long as nvidia insists on 12VHPWR connector that's an automatic don't buy which is fine by me because they are overpriced anyways. RX7000 is first generation chiplets. You never buy first gen tech. First gen always has problems. Second gen fixes the major problems. Third gen is when it finally becomes decent enough to consider. There's absolutely no rush to buy and plenty of reasons to wait.
While this does make perfect sense remember you current graphics card will be dropping in value...so you might not want to wait ;) I recently got a 4070 TI SUPER selling my 2080 TI for about £350 I won't be upgrading to series 5, but maybe 6 or 7 again when my GPU is still worth some money!
I would be interested for 2x performance over my RX6650XT, then I would still not like power draw jump. I don't expect performance per watt double.👈
Also the reason to go for faster gpu would be probably upgrade from 1440p to 4K which I think is not really a must.👈
Both games I play are online, one of them doesn't even have resolution settings, the other one is competitive, so going for 4K is not good idea.
AMD Adrenaline doesn't currently offer RSR in my game, no idea what happened during drivers updates.
👀 Anyway I am interested what next gen going to be both upcoming gpus and cpus.
(I hope Intel brings answer to AMD R5 7500f/7600 but better value, it interested pay 2x more for 2x performance over my i3-10100f 😅
That cpu simply frozen my interest even into AMD best value. 12400f doesn't seem that optimal 2x uplift to wow after upgrade.
Buy what you can comfortably afford now if you need a new card and play the games you want to now. There will always be something newer & faster coming out.
People buy 3060 type cards... They are not releasing 5060 right now.
Yeah I think RTX 5060 could be summer 2025(if it's a repeat of RTX 4060 release).

New rumors that Nvidia will launch with the 5080 first. I hope this isn’t true but I feel it probably is. They want those Blackwell full dies for AI & datacenter where they get huge margins. Once they have enough binned chips they will release the 5090, probably 1st quarter 2025.
I will wait for the RTX 5090 if NOTHING else, I won't have to deal with the melting plugs. :D plus, guaranteed "built-in" A.I features.
You really think Nvidia will admit their mistake and not use that stupid plug again? I'm not as optimistic, and I haven't heard anything to the contrary. Nvidia does no wrong, according to Nvidia.
the plugs will probably melt even faster
RTX 4080 gets you 4k graphics, which is a benchmark. And if you get an RTX 5080 there will be little reason to upgrade, imo.
Buy them all NOW!!!
Wait till the 6000 series, it’s going to be 160% faster than anything.
I just bought a 4080.. I haven’t ever had anything other than shit their laptops before and I know I can’t afford a 2,000 card any time soon, so I figured I’d build a 2,200 pc and do my best to cope with the FOMO lol
There's a better reason for keeping your old card: AI. NVidia is full on this new trend, and nobody knows where the market is going to be in a few years, starting from now. Announced CPUs are getting a NPU. Also a high amout of productivity software is now using AI routines (mind of Davinci Resolve, Premiere, Photoshop, 3D software, etc) and even games probably will benefit of a good AI processing unit. This means that we are living a paradigm change, so may be new GPUS are not about brute power, but AI oriented market, and what that brings to the gaming world. For example, as rumors say, GTA6 will make broad usage of AI routines to control NPCs in the game, and that single fact could make old cards directly unplayable, or even current gen medium range cards may be the bare minimum to run that kind of games. So with that in mind, I'll wait to see what direction software and game developers are taking for the next 1, 2 or even 3 years.
i really dont wanna see anymore 8gb card from this new generation
I don't think battlemage will be able to compete with rtx50xx. RDNA4 won't have flagship cards. I recommend skipping rtx50xx completely and wait for RDNA5 if you already have a good enough card.
I wait to 4070 price much more drop down...
Whats the hate on 4060? Just deal with it, dlss is so much better for fps boost, secondly having ultra settings in cod at 4k wont make you any better if you dont have skills, thirdly even tho its expensive, if you cant buy it, get the previous gen, the wattage is a lot lower than 3000 series. They've got to be on the eco side as well, its an SDG goal cant do non....

The only way we will see +80% is if you count fake frames as performance, which it definately is not, especially for the lower end.
Fake frames are only useful over 60 fps and that is when you care more about input latency, which fake frames do not improve, rather the opposite.
If Radeon does not compete Nvidia will follow Intels 14nm +++++++ strategy. $1799 RTX5090 at +10% over the RTX4090.
The 8GB 4060 is not a midrange card. Anything with 8GB or less is entry level and should not be considered by anyone for more than $200 USD. I suppose if you play lightweight competitive shooters it's fine as an entry point, and will obviously run 2017 and previous games quite well, but in early-mid 2024? Entry level budget builds, in which case why not just grab a 6700XT or a used 3060 12GB for less?
Lol, sorry for being nit-picky with the example but I saw 8GB and my cheeks got all red with anger thinking about how Nvidia continues to be stingy as heck with VRAM.

im still smiling on my 4090 , i might wait til at least 1 year to upgrade since i got what i need out of this card.
I did the same thing. I got it 2nd hand for $950 for a PNY 4080 Super. Guy had it for a couple weeks and I got to save the tax and a couple dollars under MSRP. At the price I got it for I have no complaints. Nice upgrade from my 3080.
The games i play will not need more upgrades anytime soon so i am good for 4 years
@@adamtajhassam9188Smart choice, try to save up and get the 5090 if you want it before selling the 4090. Trust me having no GPU for months would be horrible because of low supply and scalpers.
@@Deathwish699 i would rather say 10 yrs fr
I completely disagree that the 5090 is going to be $2,500. That's just ludicrous lol. Plenty of 4090's in stock everywhere now because they're all priced at $1,800 or above. There is ceiling and they're starting to hit it over $1,800. So imo I think the 5090 will be $1,800. As for the 5080, the rumoured specs make it sounds like less of an upgrade then usual. My thinking is they've also found the ceiling with 80 series class cards. $1000 is pushing it so instead of losing margins they'll make a cheaper card that's more in line with the 4090 in raster ( hopefully they've made good improvements in ray tracing so maybe 20-30% better in RT) and will still be 256bit 16gb vram for $999. $899 would be better but i think they'll push the price as much as they can but not over $1,000
Yeah the 3090 was $1,500. 4090 was $1,700, why are people claiming $2,500 or $3,000 for the 5090. TH-camrs are full of BS. At max it will be $2,000 MSRP.
Not saying you're wrong but I believe the reason people assume higher prices is the ai boom being very profitable and them they no longer care about giving value at the high end due to amd not being very competitive at the higher end....the enthusiasts continue to pay higher prices no matter what.
@chance0marasso yes I get the a.i boom, but that's not a forever thing. They can't piss off the gamers that will keep them afloat when a.i starts losing its appeal. They also don't want AMD to catch up at all and they have to keep rdna5 in their minds even though it won't be for at least a year and a half from now. It just wouldn't go over well hiking the prices up that high, ridiculous lol. I don't know what the 5090 will end up being but for sure under $2000. $1,800 is my guess....still a price increase. As for the 5080....$900 best case scenario. Most likely $1,000. They can't push any higher than that imo
@ZackSNetwork I think $2,000 is the absolute worst case scenario. How anyone can say $2,500 with a straight face is beyond me. That's a huge increase to already expensive price lol. I can see it being $1,800 which is already a lot. Me personally, I draw the line at $1,000 which is what the 5080 should be at the most. Why anyone bought a 4080 at $1,200 is a mystery to me lol I'd be ashamed of myself if only got the usual 50% increase but with a 72% increase in price from previous gens. Absolutely ridiculous lol there's only so many stupid people in the world to sell too. As it turns out there's more intelligence then I thought in the world hence why the 4080 sold so poorly. No chance nvidia makes that mistake again
Nvidia trying to become apple 🍎 of pc market, trim performance and hike the price and try the ceiling price where consumer can buy
Personally; I would wait. I have a 7 year old PC, and had the patience not to bought a new one last year or now. A example; my card is a 1080 TI that costed me at 1200 Euro I believe. if we pick the top card now it's most like the Asus 4090, which cost 2300 Euro's here (2480 USD I believe). Why would I buy that card or even a 1200-1600 Euro 4080, if within a few months those cards will be obsolete, by the potentially insane 5090 (or 5080 if you want). Rumors go of a lower price (although I didn't expect that with saving for it), and it will cost lets say 2K. That's a difference of 300 Euro, and a 40-60 or higher increase in performance. What about the CPU ? I have a 8K or 9K series Intel. We get a 9950X, and a 8900X3D soon enough, which will be at least 25% faster as the AMD's of now, or the Core Ultra 285 as a example, which would also be around 20% then current models, for 600 Euro I think (give or take). Imagine the speed increase against my current system. I saved in the last years money, so I could buy whatever PC I want. why would I throw tons of money away on current hardware, when for around the same prices I get even more speed and power .. 25-40% faster as now, and maybe 200-300% (or more) faster as I have. if I have to wait for the X3D's and they will release in Q1 2025, I will do that. So that I can be on my way from the next 7 years. So imo; if you have the patience, like me .. wait.
To late
AMD will not be releasing any more high end cards. The 7900 series will the last 900s you'll see. They are going back to the 800s being the top cards so if you want a 7900 NOW is the time to buy!
I'm excited for the new releases. Especially looking forward to a) 6000 watt CPUs requiring a nuclear power station to run them (self detonation, of the CPU, at no extra cost), b) New premium GPU cards fitting in a full pcie slot, but only using 2 pcie lanes, c) GPU's with 64k of ram aimed at budget gamers (probably the '70 class and below for those wondering, d) new hyper cool AI capabilities...with naff all software that takes advantage of said capabilities...but that won't stop vendors wetting their pants every time the scream "AI!!! It's got AI!!!!! F_____ yeah!!!!!", e) power connectors that self combust (if only users didn't connect them badly...sigh.), f) New CPU architectures offering a 20% speed increase with a 40% price hike against the current market options, g) GPU's touted as orgasmically awesome...but still incapable of running the latest games without upscaling, h) Shit bugger all VRAM allocation on GPU's so you gotta upgrade in 3 years, even if the next cycle of cards offers pissy performance increases. I) rebadging last years shit products with a +1 gen label, so you can charge more on this 'new product'. Yep, keep releasing those awesome products IT industry, no one has noticed that we as consumers are getting completely screwed over, minus the pleasure, year after year. Have I missed any other recent shitfuckery from the self-mastabuttory IT sector?
I'll sale my kidney for the 5090 and then get on a kidney transplant list because I sold my other one a few years ago for my 4090!
Yes...cause you're stupid.
😂
Don't tell me
When to buy
Take my money!
Nvidia is in for a rude awakening the public cannot afford $1500 GPUs anymore. Car repossessions have never been higher, credit 💳 debt has never been higher and the masses are being squeezed by inflation
It will be an over priced waste of time.
I want NVidia to lower their prices for the up coming RTX 50 Series! Not all players will buy graphics cards that will costs $700 and above! NVidia should not forget to create Graphics Cards that only costs lower than $200 but can handle mid - high graphics options at 1440p 2K. If they will price the 5090 and 5080 and will release the Ti immediately, I want NVidia to stop their hedious pricing scheme! Once they lower their graphics card price including those high-end flagship cards they will have more control of the market, more sales means more success and they will get back the trusts of their fans even non NVidia fans might side with them! An additional problem that adds to its high price from mid - flaghship cards are the SCALPERS! NVIDIA STOP THIS PRICING SCHEME THIS IS LIKE SCAMMING PEOPLE! We all know that you can lower your graphics card price BUT STOP TAKING AVANTAGE OF PEOPLE!
I hope the 50 series keeps up the trend of odd numbered series dominating the even numbered ones. The 20xx and 40xx (except the retardedly priced 4090) cards are garbage. I went from a 1080 ti to a 3080, and probably a 5080 if they price them decently. Also on my wish list is that Nvidia doesn't force aib's to use that abhorrent 12vhpr connector, but i'm sure they will.
I don't think AMD are going to be absent at the high end, I genuinely believe they are holding back the top of the stack, and ''leave it in the oven a little longer'', so they can see what Nvidia have with the 5090, and try and push theirs to compete to avoid a repeat of the white wash of the 4090, and I'm sure they are fed up with their top card competing with Nvidia's second in stack. To me its just a strategy from AMD to initially not release the higher end of the stack. plus if the card cannot compete with the 5090, then AMD don't have to release it and can funnel the silicon into A.I🙄😒, CPU'S and the end of the GPU stack they do ok with and try and keep Intel back with a big stick. AMD are taking it from both ends in the GPU space at the moment.
Amd has to fix their driver/software issues first. Bro has built a channel on how to workaround everything and what to do in what order so that way it works. When it just needs to work.
@@ripvanwinkle3432 Agreed, but they seem a lot better with their memory sensitivity, but also do struggle a little with their drivers, certainly at launch. and that is the thing, an AMD fan boy will say there's no issues, fight against any claims against ease of use, but as soon as you actually purchase it, their like right, these are all the settings you need to change to get it to work right. Intel definitely have their issues, but at very least they do a decent job, as an ''out of the box'' plug it in, enable xmp, update drivers ect. and away you go option, even at launch they usually have a working bios, and Nvidia are the same on the GPU side, next gen AMD have issues at both ends of the table, with Intel extremely competitive price to performance, now they have ironed out the drivers on their FIRST attempt at the GPU space.
Most Nvidia fanboys will say that the drivers are perfect which is not the case but intel has the worst gpu drivers.
@@bp-it3veintel yes i mean they just stsrted on this business yep is nice to have a 3 company involved maybe in the future is a wake up call to nvidia but depends rheir fan boys defend it to death when we know they are that great
@@bp-it3ve Intel's GPU Drivers were the worst at launch, but not now, and again as mentioned above it is their FIRST attempt, and Gpu shiz ain't easy lol, and nope Nvidia drivers are far from perfect, but holy crap! they get closer to it than AMD do. And I am no 'fan boy' I have Intel CPU because when I was making the decision on upgrade, both were basically on par in performance, I had used Intel more previously so ''better the devil you know'' I knew I'd be able to upgrade later to ddr5 with just Mobo and Ram, and I got a 12900ks for £200 because my mate, upgraded to 13900k at launch, so only needed a Mobo as I used my 32gb ddr4 4600 cl18, so would have been stupid at that point for me to go AMD. and GPU was a buy at a difficult time, yes I have Nvidia, but it was the best choice for me at the time, but I also have an ARC A380 in there for streaming and recording (AV1) so.... No, I'm no fan boy of anyone, I just get the best I can for the money and purpose, It just so happens that so far that hasn't been AMD, but because I'm not on my knees sucking on the big toe of AMD, then I'm a Nvidia & Intel fanboy.
