I have been building model airplanes for 57 years and I learn something in every one of Josh's videos! In this one he comments to ALWAYS dry-fit before gluing and then he adds a gem, "... do the fold so your eyes and hands learn." That's a keeper!
I've been jonesing for one of these since they released, and my wife just gave me the SBK and power pack for my birthday (a bit early, since it arrived a lot sooner than she expected). I probably won't get around to building it until after NaNoWriMo, but looking forward to it. The original Simple Scout was my first FT plane, and I flew the daylights out of it for nearly four years before retiring it.
Man finally xl speed build kits no more of me having to have Kinkos or any printing place to scale up plans only for the first 5 prints the scale is off and after a hour of printing and resize the plans at print shop you finally have a correct size plans. Please make XL simple cub and XL ft explorer. Theft explorer was my favorite playing the fly when I first started flying three four years ago it was actually my third RC airplane ever besides my two store-bought planes which was The apprentice s15e the big one and the spitfire MK2 from horizon hobby and those are my first two RC planes and I built this and this is my third one I love this or the simple Cub because the ft explorer is just an awesome push your prop airplane that glides easy and it does a little sport flying to and can fly longer so please donthat or make a nice powered glider with folding prop and about a 60 inch wing span and sturdy to sport fly or do long range fpv trips with.
I wish you guys could watch and comment on a build I saw on TH-cam the link would be Lavochkin La 7RC plane DIY build. Im interested in his retractable system and the glue he uses Titan Wild...and your thoughts on the glue. I purchased the same hot glue gun you guys use.
