Solid review and great comments on the knife. I had a chance to check it out at Shot Show. I'm looking forward to getting one.

I really enjoyed this video, especially how personal it sounded (that sounds weird but it's true). I also really love your knapping tutorials, I hope you continue them!

Hey! I really enjoyed your comments on the knife and watching your video. I'm so happy to see it doesn't have a ricasso. It seems like they havn't cheated with the fit and finish either. It's great to see it has a convex grind. I suspect the grind is even. Is it? The primitive bush knife had a very uneven grind. At least my copy had. This om seems to be a safe buy.

Macovic yes- my bush knife came in OK shape but I had to do a lot of work to make it do what I wanted it to do. The sequoia is my fav out of the two although it is a little thinner and I do worry about durability but I just built a bow with it from scratch so...so far so good. Still razor sharp , haven't done anything to it since it arrived. I'm going to post part 1 of the bow vid today, shows it performing very very well doing some pretty solid work in my opinion. Amazing carver too! Although it seems condor doesn't have the consistency with their blades so I may have been lucky with this one! You would have to order one to find out...that being said regardless or handle symmetry or grind it's an amazing tool. But yeah mine came with a very even grind and super super sharp!

I'm really wanting this, it's very nice. I just ordered the condor jungolo from knife center the other day. Might take some time to ship....(sadness).

I like the art work on the blade, but it's only on one side. A little more choil/guard would be good. Wish it had an ambidextrous sheath, but if I got it, I think I would go for a custom made one.

I actually had to send the one in the video back and was replaced with an even nicer version with the artwork on both sides. Never know what you'll get when it comes to condor! In this case it worked out!

Say Heah Jack, Yeah, That knife size is perfect for what I like to carry in the bush especially in colder weather overnighter's. Yup, I would carry my 17" Hultafors Bruks Agdor Hatchet, my Rodent 7 which is also a large knife and my Rodent 3 plus my Wicked Tough Saw. I think Condor makes some great designs, like that Bolo style knife, I just wish they would use a higher content carbon steel. That's why I like their 420HC better than their 1075, but for a Machete, 1075 is Ok, but a knife that you want to carve with Give me Liberty, or Give me a Higher Carbon Steel, Dilly, Dilly, (I stole the Dilly, Dilly from a Budweiser commercial), heh heh heh.,,.p

Hey- yup, steel quality is a factor here. I have had some issues with knives of theirs in the past but they have always fixed the issue then replaced my blade. I even had a problem here with the sequoia handle and they sent me a new one. If I had the money I would most likely search out a higher quality steel but thus far this blade has done an a huge variety of tasks large and small. Just two days ago I roughed out a 60 inch osage orange bow with it, from a large stave, held an edge all the way through BUT its osage and I dont expect any knife to stay shaving sharp against osage. I do enjoy this knife, its a great tool but I can see others maybe running into problems depending on their blade preferences. I like a thin spine for carving and chopping personally....but alas, everyone has their own preferences! Im gunna do an update here soon. thanks for watching! - jack

You got that right on the Osage or as we call it here Hedge. Even Sthil chainsaw chain doesn't stay sharp to long on wood that will throw sparks.
