I cannot believe this hasn't come up on my feed. I'm subscribed to you AND have done tons of searches for Africa Twin - How haven't I seen this... so excited :)
I have an Africa Twin Playlist that has them all in it... These rides with 5+ AT's were SO MUCH FUN! Check it out: th-cam.com/users/results?search_query=kyle+bradshaw+africa+twin+playlist
Kyle please do more of the Africa twin band of brothers rides.. that was a great sight to see.. if I was not living on the east coast I would be right with you guys on my 2018 ATAS .. what a great way to start your morning ! I do a lot of early morning rides myself..you really got me thinking about the motoz Sneakers for my next set.. lol
Kyle Bradshaw ..yup saw the last ride you guys did.. it was great also.. not enough Africa Twin videos on the tube.. so this is a great treat bud. And yes my bike is my favorite.. it’s # 44 in my lifetime she is a keeper..so much fun.i live in upstate ny near the mass boarder.. so I ride up in Berkshire mountains and shoot up into Vermont all the timeI have so many dirt roads in the areas I ride and great mountain trails.. wanna find some other twin riders in my area and get my own group going.. hey enjoy my friend and keep them coming!
Matthew Krisowaty fantastic Matthew! You are some pretty areas yourself… i have ridden there & it was lots of fun. Very wooded & wet ground. I’ve got lots more Africa twin action coming up, so stay tuned.
Very interesting the line choices you make. I almost forgot you guys are on 500lb beasts!! All the guys did fantastic. But Travis and yourself are exceptional riders. The way Travis dabs his foot and regains balance on those steep off cambers is really fun to watch. The video does no justice to the difficulty of that trail. It looks as if you took all the hard ways. The vegetation is all grown back from the fire. Last time i rode through there it was a BBQ pit! My work and personal commitments suck sometimes. I miss the days of just getting out and riding as much as possible. I'm an official fan of yours and Chaparral Motorsports feeds!!
Thank you for your support Christopher! Yes, ALL of the hard ways were taken by Travis and myself. Travis questioned the ability of our bikes before I hammered the first one... Once he saw me hit it... and he knowing is is a much better off road rider... IT WAS ON! He and I leap frogging up and down each hard way route. Super fun! We should find some time to work around your schedule and fit a ride in! Cheers - Kyle
Great vid. That's what is great with the AT: you pile on the miles on any road in supreme comfort, and you see a nice messed-up dirt road and a lake in the distance, no worries, you can go and have a swim!
Yes! That is why I myself have transitioned from Sportbikes, Cruisers and Touring bikes... These ADV bikes handle amazingly most anything that gets thrown at them. So many times I have been on big rides to far away places... (on street only bikes) and see a killer road that goes straight into the mountains... Most of the time I rode past yearning to check it out! On a couple occasions I gave into the temptation and ended up with lightbars & chrome falling off the bikes... or touring saddlebags rattling loose... or plastic getting damaged from gravel road drops. Just not practical. I LOVE my Adventure Bikes! Thanks for watching! - Kyle
We are blessed with some amazing riding right here in our backyards. From the Ocean to 12k feet ... and everything in between. Just wait for a future release... where I get lost and stuck in the JUNGLE (for real)... just 5 miles from work. It was a MESS! Thanks for watching. - Kyle
A short inseam doesn’t mean you can’t have fun on a motorcycle! I own several bikes I can only touch tippy toe on one side when the crook of my knee of my opposite leg 🦵 is on the seat! It’s all good until you have to stop ;)
@@manybikes Anyone taller than 5'5" and inseam greater than 29" is a giant compare to us. LOL Keep up with the vids , how-to's, and reviews! Luv your vids!
Hi Kyle, very awesome video! Maybe some weekend morning I'll be able to join your morning mountain ride! But until then please keep the cool videos coming! Going to the US surf open this weekend in HB.
David Fishbough Sweet! We are headed to HB today too! Stay tuned... we rode dirt from Corona to Foothill Ranch last night with some fun hill climbs & single track. 9pm to 1am - great ride!
You guys are nuts for wearing tennis shoes. That is suicide. I love those trails up there. I used to do them on my XR650. Now I know I can do it on my AT.
Yeah... they tend to wear minimal gear... I myself like my Sidi boots and D3O armor! Love the San Bernardino National Forest. Some great riding up there for sure!
Yeah... our snow here is only 3 to 10 inches and goes away in just a couple days. I count my blessings for being able to ride 365 days of the year. Thanks for watching! - Kyle
For sure! Just did a side by side look a the NC700x, the CB500X and the Africa Twin. There is no reason the nc700x couldn't go any of these places! Thanks for watching. -- Kyle
John Braman Ha! Ha! Sorry... wasn’t a video, just the three bikes sitting on the floor one next to the other - and remembering your inquiry - I looked closer & compared.
Happy New Year, Kyle! Great vid! How did the ATAS do compared to the rest of the standard AT? Would you recommend the standard for these types of off road adventures and save the ATAS for long asphalt adventures instead? Hope to ride with you on my future AT too!
What's up Kevin, Happy New Year to you! I actually like the standard AT better than the ATAS. I would buy the standard AT and would outfit it to my liking. They both need the suspension reworked anyway for hard off-road use... and the standard AT "feels" much more nimble. That being said, I really liked the fuel range of the ATAS. Good stuff! Thanks for watching! I look forward to a ride with you in the future, that would be awesome. - Kyle
Ring ring..hello ? hey, want to go ride 500 lb. moto's in super steep, rocky, fesh-feshy, rutted boulder strewn trails with 2' drop offs ? Sure, give me a minute...i just need to grap my flannel and deck shoes. Herd thinning at it's best.

@@manybikes Thanks Kyle - Just put new tyres on my AT and can't ride it because we are in Level 4 Lockdown:( So indulging in some TH-cam adventures :)

Thanks for taking us along. I been looking at the AT for a while. My 29 inch inseam, so there is that.

I'd like to see how a group of short riders on ATs handle those terrain cuz I'm right there with Julian + adv noob.
Nemesis 74 I’m 5’ 8” and have a 30 inch inseam... But wear a 32 pants

You guys are much better and braver riders than I am.
Dennis DeBerry momentum is your friend. Just twist the grip & go!

Ha! Ha! Ha! Practice makes perfect!
Nice. I'm in Riverside and would love to ride with you guys sometime. I have an ATAS. I'll look for you at Chap someday. Keep up the good work
Awesome! Yes, let's get a ride together for sure!
Also riding AT out in San Marcos! Is there any kinda of Adv meet up spots , i usually go to Julian
@@manfree6543 Lots of guys use Meet-up to get organized.
Nice. Those were so up and hills alright 🤙
Frederic Charpentier fun riding up there for sure. At least during the week days. On the weekends... the SxS crowd is dangerous!
Good times Kyle!

Great video for steep downhill with ruts what mode do you use on the dct
It has been a couple years... I don't remember. The modes are different now days too. I'll need to check old footage to see where it was set at...
Nice done, love it!
alexander swagerman thanks for watching! It was a blast. Last night we did a night ride - it to was epic, stay tuned!
Thanks for doing this. I'm in Canada and it's winter and I can't ride my AT.
You can in Vancouver 😉

Kyle, what crash bars are you running? I got a '18 DCT and I need to get some protection. Also you running stock Handguards too?
I’m running the AltRider complete set-up. I’ve got this set for sale used if you are interested. It retails for $900... I’d let it go for 1/2 that.
I was running stock handguards, but the Barkbusters are the way to go!
@@manybikes I'm interested. Is there a better way to contact you for further details?
DualSport_ Rider You can message me instagram.com/Manybikes or manybikes@gmail.com
You got your new bars, correct?
What fun!
It was a blast. Thanks for watching!
8:35 It just pulls and pulls and pulls.
Any DCTs with you?
Yes, the White and Blue ATAS is DCT as well as my Red one... the rest are manual shift bikes. Thanks for watching!
Ho Lee Phuk My 1st ride on the (or any) DCT will go live in the AM. What a strange experience.
would the nc700x (dct or non) work just as good on these trails?

Yeah, choice of gear here was sketchy. Funny / interesting thing is that these guys are X-pro MOTO guys who know why we wear gear. Go figure…
