Single Leaf Hoya Kerrii : Repotting + Soil Mix + Care | Sweetheart Hoya / Valentine Hoya

I bought two single leaf plants 5-6 years ago, maybe longer, and they have remained the same, no growth, no flowers, until two weeks ago when I hadn’t watered them for a while and one seemed papery so I put them both in water for a while then let them drain, now, one of them has grown another leaf😃. I was going to remove it and pot it as I thought that was how they were meant to be but thought I’d look online first, thank goodness I did. Repotting is all that is going to happen now for both plants 💚💚

I just purchased two variegated Hoya Kerrii leaves, and they looked similar to your leaf. I was willing to take a chance to see if they will grow into a plant even though the odds are not in my favor. Excited to see what happens.

Can we add Coco husk/Coco chips as a substitute for pine bark?
