I haven't played since launch I hated having to change my build every other day.
The OPQ system because of its interaction with the Infernal Wish, Mindsweeper with Mag size, redistribution, and a CMT on Moze. You switch the OPQ system in the the alt firing mode, then just keep chucking Grenades and fire the gun once then wait to get 1 of the 2 ammo back and just keep repeating. The mini OPQs do stack and because they are affected by the Infernal wish, 2 spawn with each shot. I’ve been able to have 16 on my screen before. ITS HILARIOUS AND ACTUALLY DOES GREAT DAMAGE!
Lucian's Call. rowans is nice but the double barrels with lucians is so nice when just dominating with crits
I think the clairvoyance masher will forever be my favorite assault rifle now. It’s just so damn good & satisfying to use.

Borderlands 2 ruined pretty much every gun because of its meta. Its pretty much the reason pearlescents never came back in later games

@@chewee4ever811 I wished they wouldn't try weird things that people dont like. Like etech was fun early in bl2 but the lack of crit damage and elemental damage in end game made most of them useless. And in bl3 what crazy person decided a maliwan weapon should have to charge up before it fires? I expect these kinds of changes or the insane nerfs to builds from bungie in destiny. Not gearbox and borderlands

Well i would say bandit assualt rifles/torgue barreled/etech ars are the only bad assualt rifles, torgue, vladof and dahl assualt rifles are pretty damn good.
We have more endgame viable Snipers in BL3 than we did in BL2: Lyuda, Boogeyman, Complex Root, Skullmasher, Headsplosion, Storm (got a huge buff), Unseen Threat, and more. BL2 has Pimpernel, Skullmasher and Lyuda.

Lucians call was always my favorite, the damage wasnt great but the fire rate and how easy it is to obtain made me grab a new one every ten levels
I'm not sure if you've already done a video like this, but a cool idea would be a top 10 most memorable items across the entire franchise.
Like the Skullmasher from BL1. Harold from BL2. etc.
I have just started a second play through and I am using FLAK. Really enjoying using a radiation version of the Shredifier with him and it isn't even the super version! It does a really decent amount of damage.
Cool list man. I haven't used the hail, Bekah or super shredifier, but i do have bekahs (need another rolled i just put them away for another time) and one super shredifier in my bank. Maybe I'll play some tonight. Used hail a lot in presequel. Still don't have the blade gun, been having bad luck with keys, soon though. Clairvoyance and soul render are my favorite. Rowen's call too. Khaos missed an honorable mention, easy to get, shoot a little guy and watch everything explode with the right gear. Including yourself lol. Great list man
Moxxi gave me that gun its a beast. I got a Breath of the Dying drop recently and that thing is just crazy. Before that I had a very similar version which was one of the Kaos variants, the Kaos was a shock element type but a kill with it would cause a shock explosion. The Breath of the Dying gun though is corrosive and on a kill the enemy bursts into a ring of corrosive bombs that spread outwards and then spreads further for every elemental kill it creates - like a massive chain reaction it just clears groups of mobs at a time. But it's also dangerous - close range kills cause the corrosion explosions to kill yourself if you're too close. I really like the assault rifles in the orange category. super sick some of them
I recently bought the season pass with all the dlc with a friend to play this summer and it turns out my parents had planned a vacation at my grandparents house(in a mountain, no wifi and barely any signal) and i've been watching almost every series of bl3 you have done this entire month, learned so much and now i just can't wait to go back and use all the fenix university lessons I've learned so far, thanks k6

I actually like the Breath of the Dying very much, but I got a variant with highly increased fire rate and it crashed my game. I'll have to go get one without increased fire rate.

Really like the breath of the dying, it can solo DLC 1, single handedly, and it can carry around 15-20 levels if you do get it early.

The Soulrender is super fun and easy to farm. I also enjoy using the Creeping Corruption.
I remember buying Borderlands 3 and playing it straight for 9 hours and than getting a Dahl Jaguar, i think it was a Relentless, it was so good, just shredding through enemies in subway system in Lectra city, i love to fall back and attack when the first opening i see but with that weapon it was just like straight through the enemy lines like nothing. Borderlands 3 has many issues but in some points it is just lightyear ahead no other game has so many guns and so many straight good solid balanced guns like Borderlands 3.
I know this is your opinion and all, but I’d like to give the Kaos an honorable mention. Granted the gun can be more of a danger to you than the enemies at times, but its elemental explosion after killing an enemy is awesome.
yeah i just said the same - theres another very similar gun to Kaos as-well called Breath of the Dying. But use with caution! close range kills are suicide
i remember using a lvl 40 opq system two hitting lvl 50+ enemies. one of my favorite weapons in bl3
I find it easier farming the Monarch from true trials Trial of Supremacy.
You get two or three monarchs dropping at a time as well as Atlas Replays
Got the Clairvoyance around when this video released, and then came to see if it was on the list because it was stupid good. Yup.
My first one was a Gatlin' variant with my favorite sight, but i'm actually farming for a Clipper variant. I dunno, I just like lever-actions.
Rowan's call is absolutely insane on zane because he can freeze enemies with crits. I have an artifact that increases cryo efficiency and dmg while doing bonus dmg to frozen enemies. Zane with all of that can absolutely melt enemies. Its not so good against bosses because you cant actually freeze them but it is great for mobbing. For bosses i use an incen rownas call with an artifact that increases assault rifle dmg with 125% dmg against bosses. It doesnt one shot like ive seen some people do but it can still melt bosses pretty quickly
Yeah that's a really good one too, I have 2 of them now, one waiting for my next character to level up a bit. it's a bit crazy on the recoil but crits are absolute annihilation with it. I use it like in short bursts to keep it under control but when you get the feel for it, it's deadly
Bonus point for the OPQ - if you have the skill that allows Moze to not consume ammo every few shots (maxes out at no ammo every 4th shot), when you deploy the drone with the alt fire, if it's your 4th shot after firing 3 bullets, it won't consume the charge for the drone and allow you to fire a second one. This admittedly was a while ago for me so maaaaaay have been patched. Not sure. Worth doing if it still works though! 3 lots of the OPQ!
You can definitely still shoot multiple OPQ drones as Moze

Gonna throw this out there for those who see it, but the Super Shredifier underbarrel actually isn't as great as advertised. Here's the stats compared to the regular chain gun underbarrel, pulled straight from the game's code;
Super Shredifier Underbarrel - 2.15 Accuracy spread, 1.25 Recoil-per-shot, 1.15 Fire Rate, 0.5 Spin-Up Duration.
Regular Chaingun Underbarrel - 1.85 Accuracy spread, 1.15 Recoil-per-shot, 1.15 Fire Rate, 0.85 Spin-Up Duration.
This translates to the Shredifier underbarrel having a worse accuracy and recoil compared to the regular spinny underbarrel with the only benefit being a longer time to spin down. It's also only a 15% boost in fire rate.
If you want a gun that pumps out more bullets in a second than the entire southern USA in a week you're gonna have to expect a little bit of recoil.
Supershredifier is my favorite just because it really does go brrrr
Hiya mate. First of all thank you for doing these videos. I've been a little late to the party with Bl3 but I've been a fan since bl1. I have to ask wheres the love for the Lucien's call? Granted it is best suited to Fl4k.

I like the list, I feel like you're missing the Kaos either as a honorable mention or in the list itself. My 2 favs on the list are the Clairvoyance and the Soulrender.
I personally like the Bekah no longer being pearlescent. That thing is a beast.
Try finding the Sawbar by farming Borman Nates in the meridian outskrits! me and my friend love it.

The Shotgun under barrel is crazy good. The Assault Rifle mode is not great
@@Ki11ersix yeahh i agree with that lol. Been playing it for the last 3 hours and it's been carrying me so far in secondary mode, the underbarrel is stupid good.
Nowadays I prefer to farm the Monarch from the true supremacy trial.. with a decent build you can go through it in about 4 minutes and get 2 Monarch (or Atlas replay which is good too). And the legendary chest at the end
I had the O.P.Q system but it was on no mayhem that I got it and I got multiple monarchs which I agree with the placement of it and rowans calls sadly only got 1 mayhem 10 version of it but they are still good

I still like the Lyuda even though it could use a buff but it still great well on normal mode but mayhem levels it needs a little work but it's still fun. Loved the video as always, you make great content. For me Wonderlands can't get here fast enough.
I found a Rowan's call in a gun vending machine early on on my play through and that thing lasted me for 20 levels the thing is crazy

I love the alchemist alot especially on moze!

my first Shrediffer was one that shoots 2 and has a double chaingun.
I use the Breath of the Dying OFTEN with Zane clone, thing will clear rooms quick
I do really great with Moze with the Monarch
The blade fury ..easily.
It's actually my favourite weapon in the game.
It destroys everything quickly.
Even those annoying anointed with sheilds can't stop the blades even when they have their Shields Infront of them.
I remember when assault rifles sucked in borderlands games. Bl3 changed that and I couldn’t be happier

Anyone else just not like the monarch? I've used the x4 and x8 versions on a few characters and it always seems to be outperformed by other guns, even ones on this list like the soulrender
I don't like the monarch, have a few good ones though. There's too many good assault rifles in the game to use one thanks puts rocks in your boots. I admit it does work though. Just better options
It's powerful, but it feels like an activated Bane. I wish it had the Bane scream when firing, then I'd probably use it.
I don't hate the Monarch, but it's not a Top 5 for me. Soulrender, Lucian's Call, OPQ, Blade Fury, Faisor/Boom Sickle.
In Bi-Pod Mode? It SLAYS
I do like other guns a lot more but for boss melters the Monarch is pretty top tier. The damage it does in Bipod mode is amazing

the OPQ system is a real good ass assault rifle i have one thats nearly 20 levels below me (joey ultraviolet and the underbosses are a pain to try and farm) and it STILL tears enemies apart in less than half a mag (no im not playing normal mode either) and its really weird

Hi K6 have to agree with you on your thoughts about the Soulrender, however as I mentioned in a previous video of yours I honestly believe it has received a nerf sometime in the last 6 months but one that the devs didn’t tells us about. I wonder if anyone else noticed that it wasn’t as strong as before all of a sudden?
It definitely hasn't. It's possible you're playing offline or without hotfixes applied, however
@@Ki11ersix I play on PS4 but am always careful to wait for the hotfixes to be applied. If it definitely hasn’t been nerfed, Maybe other weapons got buffed that I use on moze and it just doesn’t seem to dominate as much now. I gotten a bit bored with bl3 lately so I’ve been getting into fallout 4. Great game

The Bekah should be much higher than number 9. I pretty much main'd a Flak Clairvoyance (my actual favourite gun ever) and it doesn't compare to the Bekah. It bosses way better and just feels more consistent.
The Kaos and the Breath of the Dying clear rooms faster than the Super Shredifier, the Hail, and the PewPew. Seriously try a either with Zane - super fun.

Feels good to use in BL3. Second to the Convergence
I preferred it over the Convergence on my Shotgun FL4K playthrough vs. Hemovorous since it kept me alive AND dealt solid damage.
But, I also believe that the dictator should be an honorable mention as well; it’s outputs lower damage than the monarch but it’s suitable for the lower levels
Unpopular opinion: the Soulrender would've fit better in the Bloody Harvest event, since it, y'know, shoots skulls. Just saying.
When it comes to rifles with Bipod mode, I don’t really see any difference between that and the normal firing mode, beside being unable to run, jump or slide
generally increased accuracy and stability. but with the monarch, it doubles the projectile count at no extra ammo cost. ads tightens the spread too

I'm surprised Kaos wasn't an honorable mention. I main Fl4k and always have a Kaos in my swappable weapons, it just ruins most things.
Am I the only one who has true love for the Lucian's call? I main Fl4K and the ability to Fade and just wipe a field with the ricocheting bullets is on of the joys in life. I have the Lucians on my Fl4k in all flavors... with consecutive hits and the pearl... you cares just melt away (and so do the enemies... LOL).
You're not the only one, and I love the gun's richochet effect at least the laser is not as blinding as complex Moze
That paired with terror anoint to regen and just have ricochet flying everywhere it's one of the best for sure

I genuinely though the soulrender would be 1st i just got my first god roll one and ive fallen in love i never use the monarch because i dont like the inability to jump or run but i am slowly trying to like the monarch but it just isnt that great to me at least

Yep same (fl4k build) and the breath of the dying is a great gun for me as I'm leveling up. I turn on the Cartel option for extra enemies to spawn in which helps me clear rooms of enemies even faster thanks to those insta-kill orbs. Having a blast!
I got two max damage Fire Boom Sycels from world drops never have I ever got one from the boss, I also got a level 30 Super Shreadifire never knew it was that strong

You can get a Mag size roll as a passive on artifacts

@@Ki11ersix Another quick question I’ve been farming the song render for hours today and I’m at mayhem 10 max level but none of them got damage multipliers just over 20000 dps and that’s it am doing the farm wrong?
Soul Render? And I'm confused by what you mean about damage multipliers? Also farm at Mayhem 11. It removes Mayhem Modifiers and is otherwise identical to Mayhem 10 (even though the numbers say that it isn't... it's been tested and proven)
