The GIMP is a free open source image editor. GIMP stands for GNU Image Manipulation Program.

You can learn how to sculpt figures, but since Heroscape is all about bringing the greatest heroes and villains together, just use figures from other games.
The Tau Firewarriors in this video are from Warhammer 40K by Games Workshop.

The Toolbar to type fonts is the Giant A in the Tools Menu. To view the font dialog box, try Dialogs -> Fonts from the menu bar of an image.

They might go on the left...I don't have an official heroscape card in front of me.
The 1 Attack 1 Range is to represent the Tau's poor close combat ability. Their Pulse Rifle is the main special attack on the card and can shoot 10 hexes and can have up to 4 attack dice.

@killerdemon227 I just printed them on normal paper. If you watch the end of the third video I think I tell you how to setup your printer to make them the right size. My cards are not doubled sided because I did not create a basic version.
Probably the best way to make double sided cards would be to print our each side separately and glue a piece of tag board in between the two sides. For this process, I recommend spray adhesive.

Try Google Image Search. A search for Blank Magic Cards turned up some blank templates for that game.

Very helpful but the title of the special abilities is left aligned like the body text

The Firewarriors do have a ranged attack. It is part of their special attack.
Tau Firewarriors consider close combat to be primitive and dishonorable. Pulse Rifles are fairly large weapons which are unwieldy in close combat. As a result, The range of one represents their poor close combat skill and not their firepower.

Can you not just open the card with the GIMP? The Gimp can edit just about any image format. Also, you might try saving the image as a .XCF file.
That is the native GIMP format and therefore is the best file format to save images in while you are editing them with the GIMP.

What file are you trying to open?
If you are talking about the GIMP installer and are running Windows, make sure you are using the Windows Binaries. The tar and gz files are for Linux people who want to build from source.
If you are running Linux, then GIMP is most likely in your distro's Package repository.(I know that is the case on Ubuntu)

Is the program crashing on you when you try to do something? If that is the case, try uninstalling and reinstalling the program.

anywhere else i can fine legitimate card blanks all the ones on that site you linked to are either WAY too small or have a danm photobucket watermark on them

    • @RockoRobotics
      @RockoRobotics  ปีที่แล้ว

This site has some blanks: danieloche.wixsite.com/dl-hs-resources/blank-cards
They might be a different size than the ones I used in the video. Details, like the sizes of things, might need to be changed in order to fit the template.
If those don’t work, I can try and figure out what some of the custom teams use.
