My older brother owned every Aliens figure and vehicle that was released over here in the UK. I know you get those people who claim to have had "everything" but my brother's collection was the only complete one I ever saw. I had friends that were collecting the toys, but they never had the whole set. The only thing my brother never had was the Queen Hive playset as it never saw mass retail release here in the UK. Ieven helped him track down the last 3 Space Marines figures to complete the collection. He never bothered with the Predator figures (as he saw them as a seperate toyline) but I ended up with a couple of them. Even after 25 years he still has his entire collection.
Now that is brutal
These three toy lines were ahead of their time in my opinion. When I see them ass a whole in this channel's presentation I am amazed at the diversity and the play value they represent. I had heard that this was Kenner's swansong and the company would fold soon after. It was to bad. though I never owned any my buddy had most of the aliens and a couple of predators. They were cool and the sculpts were superior for that time. Awesome topic and very polished presentation sir!!

I'm trying to collect those AvP arcade figures from NECA. Those look sick! Of all the beat em up arcades, AvP is my 2nd favorite right and TMNT. Would love an Arcade 1 Up of AvP.

Nice stuff. one thing though about the Aliens figure the reasons the marines didn't look anything like their movie counterparts is that they were going to release a Animated show similar along the lines as the Robocop and Rambo and even Commando ones at the time. but when the show got pulled Kenner went ahead and released the figures anyway opting to put the mini comics in with the first few waves. I have pretty much all this line except for the ultra rare prototypes that pop up on ebay like the 4 Armed predator. also there was the Sub line Called Hive wars that introduced a few new sculpts like the Hive wars Warrior alien that was basically the Dog alien from Alien 3 but without a complete Dome on the head. Also you may be interested that Neca are planning to do a Laser shot predator and have 3 aliens and 3 predators slated for release from that Aliens vs Predator Konami game :) apparently the dude with the bionic arm in that game is Dutch from the first predator movie.

I’m still working on completing the line, but I’m close.
I don’t think I’ll get into Hive Wars but who knows when I get there.
I wanted to add Terminator 2 to these, but I don’t have any completed ones.

I only have a one of the Terminator figures which is the techno-punch terminator aka the Endo-skeleton. and I have the bio-flesh regenerator. (which never worked for me properly ), yeah Some of the Hive wars stuff is really out there like the Night recon Predator with its bizarre proportions
I still have all my Aliens and Predator toys from this era!!!! hahaha

"With a warrior alien" it's not a warrior warriors have ridged heads and the one you said was a warrior is actually a drone because drones have domed heads.
My favorite opening by far
I collected the kenner toys as a kid. Now i collect the NECA toys as an adult.
What about the hive wars predator and aliens?
I don’t have any attachment to that line, but once I’m done with Predator, I may have to go in that direction

@@RazHolly it’s no problem! The predators has a different story (even nightstorm and Savange. They are now a different predator species also!)

How would you say about getting them in the UK quite cheap
Unfortunately, I’m not sure. I usually go through eBay for my figures. I do know that the UK got some awesome exclusive colors and even some figures that came with cardboard displays!
This toy line came out too late for me to enjoy. I remember these being a 3 for $10 figures at KayBee Toys in the 1990's. I think Kenner was bought out by TOMY by the time this toy line was created. You can see the drop in quality in all of the Kenner Toys back then, on the way to the beefed up Star Wars Power of the Force 2 line. I'm happy to see you review these though and will learn something new from a toy line I really don't know much about. Thanks for all your hard work.
These are still pretty cool even as an adult. I miss KayBee, Thats the store I grew up with, I remember getting Super Naturals, M.U.S.C.L.E. and Robocop when I was there. I think I got Predator and Aliens from K-Mart. I'm glad you're enjoying this new series so far, I'm really pumped to get the rest out. Already wrote the reviews for Bishop, Scorpion alien and Spiked Tail Predator.
you know why they started become lazy on alien in 1996 because they were now going to focus on jurassic park the lost world toys to release in 1997

Soonenuf I got the Betserker Predator and Neomorph Alien this week.
Afterwards I got Cracked Tusk Predator, then Stalker.
As for Aliens I’m looking them by comic book order. I think Mantas is two or three aliens figures away
