What I love most about this Hot Toys 2.0 figures from AVP is that they fixed Scar's face to look more menacing and threatening. No more cute Disney eyes and Super flappy mandibles. He looks like a proper Predator with this toy.
I love AVP, my friends were so upset how quickly the Celtic and choppa get killed, it was shocking but it just tells you what a prodigy of a predator scar wouldn’t been, these were young bloods trying to earn their stripes. Scar was my very first hot toys and guess what? I still have him, but Celtic is my favorite one. Can’t believe you got one new. Power to you!
Actually there's quite alot that are brand new. I just got mine today and it was still wrapped and taped. I do wish they made a Chopper so we could get the trio but sadly I don't think we'll ever get one😥

AVP is a big guilty pleasure movie for me! Celtic Predator is my personal fav design from any Predator movie, absolutely beastly the mask! Very cool that you picked up the Celtic base, but grabbing the entire figure is definitely worth it!
Agreed on the guilty pleasure bit. It’s far from a good movie, but it’s typical Paul W. S. Andersen schlock. It could always be worse. Uwe Boll could have made it. 😂
Scar here looks MUCH better than in the movie since here he has green eyes as opposed to no contacts in the movie and they made the mandibles in the correct position. What a difference.

OK I think avp is actually pretty good. Sure it's pg13 but you still get tone of Xenomorph and Predator blood. A awsome protagonist, an OK story with a tone of world building for both franchises (even thought the canninisty of these film is questionable) and awesome fight scenes
I think the reason for the different length of the wrist blades would depend on who he takes on in a battle. Some may take him on with a knife, machete or sword.
I don't know if its a licensing thing or why we haven't really seen any new ones in recent memory (at least as far as I'm aware, feel free to correct me if I'm wrong), but I'd love to see Hot Toys do more Predator stuff.

Now, waiting for the Wolf Predator from avp2 (this movie isn’t so good, but the design of the Pred is fantastic) but, most of all, can’t wait for you to watch Predators (2010), my favorite of ALL the serie - and when you do, I think you gonna break the rule of 1 figure per movie, and get all 3 super predators 😁 Cheers!

I really hate the pleather especially on the preds I got the berserker and he has so much pleather and it just gets destroyed so easily I’ve even lost a few straps which really sucks

You'll need to scuff up or scratch the brass contacts the best that you can. It'll be tedious and maybe a little aggravating, but just do the best you can. Then you'll need dielectric grease. If that doesn't fix it nothing will short of just replacing it
