This is such an underrated anime. It's so over the top it's hilarious. I highly recommend checking it out. Also Naruto's japanese voice actress plays the main character, Endou (which is a pun btw).
I believe his first name Mamoru is the pun which means "To protect" and he's the goalie
Endou means "Distant Wisteria"
All the more reason to watch it

It’s a show about boys soccer where the tourneys have a team of males and even as early as season 2 they incorporated female characters playing in the games because those seasons they weren’t in tournaments. Once we got to galaxy they made it all gendered teams because they wanted to incorporate more female characters.
Maybe do some research about the product before you start accusing sexism.

Inazuma eleven is one of my favourite shows of all time. When I was younger, I watched the original series 5 times in a row. I adored it. And it honestly helped me get through the worst period of my depression. May even have saved my life, tbh
offside advantage is actually giving the GK a bit of Tension (bar used to use special moves). there are 4 main elements in the franchise, the advantage/disadvantage going as Earth>Fire>Wood>Wind, then Wind>Earth and the cycle continues. (Earth and Wood are neutral against each other, same goes to Fire and Wind). if i remember correctly the beta as an extensive "Help" menu, so it should have all the needed info on there.
I really think they should either increase the amount of tension that generates or give more penalties to the forwards, you really don't get that much while the forwards get like a triple shot chain xd
Thus CC2.... This is how you should release your games.... we can invite, we can spectate, no reused assets and cash grabs.

Inazuma eleven was such a fun part of my childhood games or anime I remember on the school football pitch we were just shouting the names of the moves when shooting the ball. And on a side note, this beta got more content that that jjk game lol

Thank you for making a video about Inazuma Eleven. I've been a fan of the series for about a decade and I've played every game, except for some of the Japanese exclusives. I've been following the news on this game's development since 2016, when they first announced Ares no Tenbin, which got cancelled later and I'm really happy that Level-5 has finally managed to release something to the public.
By the way, I noticed a few things that both you and biscuit got wrong about the game mechanics. The elemental advantages are: Fire beats Wood, Wood beats Wind, Wind beats Earth and Earth beats Fire. And the offside doesn't give a debuff to any of your players, it just gives your opponent some extra tension, which can be crucial to stop a shot.
"I don't know if you've ever heard the saying..." and Reize/Janus comes on screen right after 😂
So glad to see you cover this game! I've been waiting for this for practically 7 years now, and we're much closer to its release.

Inazuma Eleven was a legendary fantasy football anime loved by many people from their childhood. The OG series was great but the GO series is nice as well along with the reboot one. Im so glad its getting so much love ^^

God, i have been playing Inazuma Eleven on the DS since 2013 and I've never seen anyone talk about it. Glad it's finally getting a serious game that looks amazing.

Inazuma Eleven is one of my favorite games and Anime series, I can't express how excited I am for this gaming finally getting out there and you talking about it and giving this series some attention.
It’s great to see the series everywhere again! The games and anime are so good! While gameplay is good, the series shines the most because of its story and the character writing.
It's finally out!!! I remember telling you about them remaking the series from scratch a while back so I am glad you are covering this! It's sooooo much fun as well getting something this good after over a DECADE of nothing (for the games)

As someone who has grinded the fuck out of this game (and got top 8 at a 256 man tournament) and loves the series right from the beginning it’s amazing to see on your channel man, long live inazuma!
This is the anime I watched 32 episodes in one day! I love it so much that it is on my top 3 alongside Naruto and FMA
God dam I remember screaming at the tv on the zeus match in S1 as a kid, so glad to be apart of this small legendary community and seeing inazuma eleven in a new age of game style is insane
A (warning) thing to know is that there is a critical hit mechanic call Breach that lets you score a goal and ignoring how much health the keeper has. All of that is fine since the chance of it happening is very low BUT there are passives from characters that can increase the chances of it happening. So yea, it can get a bit frustrating when it happens a lot more that it should be normally.
I feel like it should be, at least, 7% instead of the usual 10%.
I think the issue is the conflation of systems from the old games that are single player RPGs and the implementation of a ranked PVP mode. Most of the stuff that are problems in the game if you have competitive fairness in mind are fine for the campaign, and it doesn't seem they had a clear direction in that sense.
The breach system can work if they tweaked it so it just does extra damage instead of instantly scoring. Also the save mechanic kinda balances out the bs of breaches as you can save shots that would have went in otherwise
@@benjoman8252 My problem isn't with breach itself. It's that there are passives that increase the chance for breach. But there's no passive that increases save chances or saves against breaches except for some of the tactics that you can randomly get.
I absolutely loved the DS games, I still play the third one from time to time, and the Wii games are fun enough. I've been waiting for this for like 7 years, I need it to be good.

The only problem I have right now is that it’s too easy to bypass the goal keeper, through the pass-bug and abusing breaches (critical hits).

I’m happy Inazuma Eleven is Back and if the game does well, it might get an anime adaptation of the new storyline because It’s anime based on the games.
Fun fact: Mappa is animating the cutscenes of the story mode( Imagine the new anime get animated by Mappa, that would be crazy)
yeah, this is basically ensuring that the spread of inazuma Eleven is going into the greater world. At least, to me. and Mappa animating the cutscenes and putting in an anime to boot, if it does well? I'm so freakin' HYPED.
If this game does well, we are almost definitely ensured a new series will be made. This game is based off of real canon story not a spinoff. So I’m so hyped.
one of my favorite anime, growing up. i remember trying to find inazuma eleven ds games to play on my emulator and being frustrated that one game in the series just got stuck after a certain while and no other downloads of it were available
definitely hope you cover this game more the one major tip id give you for in the future would be getting used to using chain shots it massively increases shot power especially when you get multiple chains the way it works is when entering the zone to take a shot aim at your teammate instead of the goal and if you have enough tension you just press the hissatsu technique button and the move will fire towards the teammate you aimed at then you have 2 options either aim at the goal and chain a direct shot or another hissatsu technique or aim at another teammate and chain another hissatsu to pass to that 3rd teammate from there you have the same 2 options as before you can chain pretty much infinitely but the thing that stops it is a hissatsu technique into a direct shot can only be aimed at the goal so if you wanna pass to more than 1 teammate you need enough tension for multiple hissatsu techniques id recommend watching some of inazuma hissatsu's gameplay of this game to see what i mean he was still figuring it out in the first 2 videos but by his 3rd one you can start to see what i mean hope this helps a bit glad inazuma eleven is getting noticed by people cause the games and show are awesome

I never be this happy about release game before. inazuma eleven games always have a special place in my heart i play every game of it that come out in 3ds as a child it my most favourite game on 3ds.
Watching the ball be inside the goal, in the net, then transporting outside into the goalie's hands is peak anime
Alius team are not actually aliens its sort of a plot twist in the second game(and second season of the anime)
The actual aliens only appear in the third game of the GO series(sequel) which would be the 6th game/season

I believe they are bringing back the Keshins, the Armored / Miximax forms and that. Not sure how they would do Souls in this new system though but I hope it's fixed up.
@@runezunn6655I think Armorfied/Totems probably aren't coming back. Not in the same way. Iir the director said both of those being prevalent caused the change of Tension being a team wide meter now.

the "passing" into the goal thing isn't actually you can just shoot without going into zone, and if the keeper isn't in a good position to stop it, or its too close to the keep when you shoot it, then its guaratneed to go in. in the same vein you can also run into the goal to score by dashing, it's always been a thing in inazuma eleven, and its why its important as they keeper to enter the zone, as not doing so can put you at risk of letting in goals that wouldn't hae gone in if you had entered zone.

In the og game the tension bar didnt exist each player had their own energy bars which are wasted during the match when you use moves and a stamina bar that would show how tired they are which effects them during the match
Neither exist in this game so no need to switch
Except in the demo version your playing maybe if the enemy goalkeeper has a type advantage over your striker but in the full game all of the character are gonna have between 2 to 6 special moves of different types and as far as I am seeing the powercreep between special moves caused by lore reasons doesnt exist in this game so using a different special move is a much smaller risk
Finally some progress, it looks fun.

I do like the way u use hissatus on this game more. On strikers it was holding a button and trying to keep the ball. What I do like on strikers more is that each hissatu shot had its own shooting animation towards the goal
