Musical Soundtracks in most doc.-vids. seriously suck just being in productions alone - any music, whatsoever! ... Ending & starting credits, I understand proposed sound ques for getting viewers to gather and sit still. Or when to get-up & exit view. BUT... Seriously? As much as I Love Wolves. Also`very acute to the perpetual musical soundtrack you've used in this production. Way to go ruining a divine documentary ... 0r for that matter, anything doc. Seriously? No, really, SERIOUSLY??!! Am I Proving The Point, Yet? 🤨!?
My small pet dog also loves to howl in different style. He has a weird howl when he is left alone in house when either me or my parents go outside. He also howls when his fellow dog are in trouble.

Mine howls about 3 am letting me know he's home again. Cleaning his catch for breakfast❤❤❤ Minnesota wolf packs are favorite packs coming in my backyard every winter❤
I don't live close to wolves, but I am in an area with lots of coyotes who sometimes do their chorus howls (and some barking sounds). I always assumed it was a lot of them but maybe it's a ruse as you say. I like them around because they eat rats. And I do like hearing the call of the wild.
Coyotes don’t live in packs like wolves do, usually in pairs but perhaps you’re hearing lots from separate groupings if there are lots in your area. They remind me of foxes. Foxes don’t live in packs but you’ll often see lots together in areas where there is lots of food
Wolves are also found in large numbers in north-east Assam. Their size is a little smaller than the others. Their voice really touches the heart. 😍 (❤❤❤ From India 🇮🇳🇮🇳🇮🇳)
My my guess is when they get lost, they can howl to each other and then they’ll know where each other is my second guess is if one of the wolves in a pack found food and the rest of the wall were somewhere else trying to find food and the wolf that found food will be able to howl and find each other to eat the meal my third guess is if a wolf is in danger he/she can howl to its pack, and then the pack will help fun fact, one of the howl is a chorushowl a chorushowl is one a group of wolves howl together

Ok here's one for you and ocean. Why does my 2 year old female gsd sometimes howl when wolves are on my phone or come on the tv. She sometimes watches them for a while. She then comes right to me and sits on my lap with her back to me or comes and paws at me. Other times she just sits watches and listenens. Then just lays down and goes to sleep. Does it depend what mood she's in? Or the sound of the wolves she's hearing or watching? Sometimes she goes close to the tv or knocks my phone out my hand with her paw. Is it her way of protecting me? Claiming me or just a bit of jealousy?. She used to do it more when my old boy a 13 year old gsd was still here. She was 2 to 6 months old. before he passed away she stopped doing it for a while. Now just over 2 years old she's started bark howling when someone comes to the door. It's starts as a kind of gruff riff then gets a bit tighter in pitch and turns more in to a howl. Until I say ok I've got it and answer the door. I've only ever had one other gsd do this my last female white gsd who passed away at 12 years old my was with her for 10 years before we got our pup.. She would talk to you in howls not barks. And howled when someone came to the door. She never knew my pup. Is it possible the old boy tought the pup to do this as he learned it from my old girl? I like to think so. That way theres a part of my old girl and old still here in my pup. Their legacy lives on in her. She's does a lot of things that she picked up from my old boy and things my old girl did yet she never knew her. Did my old boy pass on both their knowledge to my pup before he passed away? They do learn from each other so I wonder if he passed everything on to my pup. I hope so. Every time she howls reminds me of my old girl and little barks reminds me of my old boy. But the way she mixes them and uses them is all her. I'd like to know your thoughts. What do you and ocean think? Xx
There is a lot of differences. Low content wolfdogs can look more like dogs where as high content wolfdogs can be almost indistinguishable from a pure wolf. There are lots of episodes on my channel about this
