I added this machine to my print shop over 2 years and I love it. Very Profitable. If you dont have the patience to learn new thing stay away from embroidery period. My first month I broke the reciprocator by putting the image to low on a cap job. The needle hit the metal and boom out of commission. Got on the phone with customer service and set up a zoom for the next available slot they had. Which was 2 days later. It took 3 hours and was pretty tedious to replace but the service rep guided me the whole way. I saved $700 doing it myself. Haven't had any issues since then other then trial and error problems. I gotta give props to customer service they have always been a phone call away to help guide me thru those times. Only down side is only having 1 head. I'm now looking into upgrading to a multi head machine from Ricoma. The 1501 is the perfect machine if your barley getting into embroidery.
One reason I even want a commercial embroidery machine so the big graphics you can do. I know that’s not something I’m just gonna hop on the machine and start doing. But the ability to create and tweak a design larger than a foot is amazing. Embroidery is my favorite type of design for a garmet. Screen printing is cool if you get the right kind that still looks solid and doesn’t peel when it cracks but embroidery last years decades even. As long as we do it well !
been a month since my machine came in, already 1/4 back to my initial investment from my sales, this is really where its at, we are fortunate enough to jump into the apparel industry, forever growing and the profit marks up are insane, buy some $2 hats, and sell them for $20 each after you customize it.
I'm a digitizer, and I started my business slowly. I don't have a commercial machine yet because I didn't need it yet. Now I'm looking at buying a machine, but ricoma isn't the machine im gonna buy, I am looking at buying an embroidery machine that I can find in my country. There is no need to have a large hoop that big, I don't stitch the larger designs out, only the smaller ones because I don't need to waste a lot of thread and I love saving money to grow my business. I live in a country where other Chinese machines are bigger and easier to come by. Its hard to find ricoma and im excepting that. I'm so excited to learn about these big machines though. I know about financial stuff, I love your pep talk about that, but I do things slowly and watch my growth and buy what I need when I need it. I work 16-hour days to build my business, and I know about working harder than ever, but I grow when my customers are buying consistently. The country I live in ppl doesn't appreciate the art and the embroidery designs like the USA does. I'm so glad you're doing well in your business, but we are all at different places in life. Thank you for your knowledge of these big machines.

Hi I'm Linda I have been listening to you on TH-cam all day long you have sold me I am truly interested in running my own business I'm 66 I don't want to work for anyone else and this is right up my alley I would love to get involved with this I want the Mt 1501... thank you so much .God bless you .. now let me see if I can get this financed and get the ball rolling will let you know thank you so much
I've heard and seen a lot of negative stuff about ricoma machines and how the company are shady too. Another person on yt even told how ricoma contacted him and basically wanted him to work for them for free??? So I see you're selling this machine hard.. this brings me back to the man on the other video. He wasn't having it and shut ricoma down. Im glad I didn't take my hard earned money and throw it away on this brand.
I can only talk on what I know. I know it works. Works great for my business and It works for me. The experience I’ve had with them is great. No company can please everyone. To each their own. Im just here to show that clearly mine works. What someone said in a video about a company contacting them has nothing to do with whether or not a machine works. What your saying has no basis. Especially when you watch a video of the machine working. What does one have to do with the other?
I’m on the move making shirts for this ammunition company and I have the personal brother machine but this will be my next purchase I promise. You have a new sub and pupil, thank you so much!
Thank you ,thank you, thank you, I have had my machine for awhile and have not had the nerve to use it yet, lol. You have truly been a God send to show how easy it is to use and I have been digitizing for a long time. ( I need to make a a web site). I love having my machine now.
I problem thank you fir watching. If you have any suggestions or issue you might be having let me know. I’ll make a video on it if I haven’t already. I have find doing and showing. It really runs smooth when you have the dials set in and your embroidery file done right. You will see. Congrats. Now go make some money.
That’s the best way to do it. Keep learning. Take your time don’t force it. You might have to walk away and take a breath. I’ve had those moments. Then you think about things and it starts coming together. The more time you spend with it the easier it gets. I had some struggles in the beginning but i stick to it and I’m telling you. These things work fine. Call Ricoma, look at tutorials take your time and you will learn and start making money.
Thank you. I actually had my machine since June 2020. I purchased the ricoma and sg1000 around the same time. Got so busy sublimating I just left the embroidery machine in the corner. Last month I flew to Miami for training. I really appreciate you motivated us. Thank you
Bruh literally idk how I missed this video. It’s been out for 5 months. And I wanted your opinion of this. I have a se600 and I’ve been wanting to up the quality and I definitely trust your opinion on this machine over some other people because you’ve literally came from my machine!!!
Exactly. Bro, the machine is fine. It’s not easy to work but once you tweet the knobs it works perfectly fine. I have the MT-1501 and the EM-1010. MT for heavy duty stuff (shoes, leather belts) EM-1010 for lighter materials (denim on down.) they work fine.
Then look at that and share those videos anytime anyone wants to talk. I show the real deal they just gonna talk. Ijs th-cam.com/video/OUWfMw-AITA/w-d-xo.html
I am running my small business on a pe800.. but im researching on getting a multineedle one.... and I came across ure page. Ure definetley convincing me further
That is awesome. Running an entire business on the pe800 is a big deal. If you can do that then this will be a breeze. The part that matters the most is the fact that you have experience. You will be fine. I will continue to make videos on my machine that I feel can help people that have it. It’s a great machine. If you get it don’t forget to use my affiliate link. I appreciate it. It works fine, don’t believe that hype. Lol trust your eyes. Im sure when you first got your pe8 you had some hurdles V to jump over. This is no difference. Some people don’t put in the time to learn. Let me know what you decide either way. That’s for watching I appreciate it.
I really have no idea. I did the 0% financing option though. No deposit required. The options are based on your credit or you can just pay outright. Which makes no sense financially if you can hold onto your money and pay overtime with 0% on-top.
Thank you for this video. I purchased my machine back in Dec and I am at a stand still on what to make. I don’t want to make everything that everyone else makes but I want something that stands out for me.
Hey Lillyanna, sorry I never saw your message. I see you got it going though. That is awesome. And @Mary mine is still running like a champ as well. I am actually looking to get a second hand one to send over seas to start something over there. Stay tuned for this next move.
Good morning how are you doing? Thank you for all the great information that you give to us. The reason why am writing today is I would like to know where do you get your hats and T-shirts from if it’s at all possible that you can let me know please thank you God bless you and have a good day Mrs.Charlene.

Thanks for the video, I wanted to get familiar with some of the functionalities of it because I have the 2 Head Ricoma MT-1502 being delivered in the next 2 days, I'm very excited about it but yet still a bit worried about not catching on to it soon but I won't put that pressure on myself because I know that I'll have it figured out soon enough, practice makes perfect. I already have a box of caps ready to mess up, lol. I'm ready to get into the chenille patching function and just overall embrace the business of that machine.

I'm starting my clothing brand with the sc600 I hope to upgrade in the in the near future I love your videos on the sc600 do you have any quick advice for me ?
What are the recommended service intervals for this machine? Do you have to call a technician to come do it, if so, what would one expect to spend for this (approximately)? Also, what is the warranty this machine comes with? thx
They recommend you to oil it after ever 4 consecutive hours of use and an annual maintenance where you lubricate certain parts. It’s very low maintenance you can do yourself. I’ve never had anything happen where I needed to contact a technician. When you are inquiring about buying the machine they tell you all you need to know and also give you virtual training so you know how to use it and how to do the maintenance. If you purchase a multi head they come to your house and train you.
New , here to show support. I want to get this and make anime clothing. Thanks for the inspiration, going watch your videos to learn. Once I learn I’ll use your link
Thats funny bc my living room is not a living rm anymore...the only thing left is 1 couch & im bout to take that out to take the rest of my equipment out of my bed rm. Everyone said im crazy...I need a shed or store front.
Thanks for this video it was very helpful. I have a question. I am looking to purchase a MT1501, my question is I will be doing things like events and possibly leasing a spot in the mall. Can you tell me what permits/license I would need to make it a legitimate business. thank you for your answer.
I’m not qualified to tell you that information. You need to consult you city council and ask them what you need for your specific area. I’m general I would say to form your LLC and get a vendors license in your state. You can start with that and contact your state to see what else they require.
Get what you can get a use what you have. Take that money and use it for supplies to finish the other orders. Then take that money and use it to get supplies I’m for orders to come. Invest the rest if there is anything left over or take yourself out to a nice dinner and talk about the business with a friend so you can write off the meal as a business expense.
Thanks you asked a lot of questions about the ricoma embroidery machine but I'm having trouble getting in touch with ricoma to purchase the MT1501 embroidery machine can you give suggestions to contact them.
I can try and see if I can get someone to call you personally. Shoot me an e-mail with your name and number at adubbproductions@gmail.com Ricoma MACHINE Link ricoma.com/US/referral/allan-wade
Enjoying this video. You are really making me want one of these machines. Can you tell me how close to the visor seam you can place the embroidery design? I have had a few requests to embroider within a half inch. I have a Brother PR1000e and the visor is a limiting factor because it rubs against the head of the machine when a design is that close using a Hooptech Gen 2 hoop.
When using a gen 2 hoop you should be fine. I’ve gotta extremely close with the regular cap frame but it is risky. If you are primarily embroidering designs that need to be close you need that gen 2. You need the right tools for the jobs you do most often. It takes longer making sure not to hit the cap frame. I have to trace like 5 times and even then I’m still not super sure. I have gotten maybe within a half inch but it was an accident and probably couldn’t do that consistently with the regular cap frame. With the gen 2 it’s not an issue. That small metal band is not there so you get that much space. The metal part is tucked directly onto the bill so no worries with the gen2. Hope that helps. If you get the MT-1501 make sure you use my link and tell them I sent you so you can get something off of shipping.
Hi there A Dubb. I’m having a setback with my MT 1501. Yes, it’s a few years old now (2018). But that shouldn’t hinder me from getting the aid I need. Pls reach out if you are willing to help.
I was wondering if you could tell me what model of Ricoma Embroidery Machines you have on this video? Can you share this information with me, please? Thanks a lot and I love your videos.
Thank you so much for the information my brother. I always want to be involved with this type of business. I think is super cool. I have background and design and marketing.
I have the same embroidery machine and it came with the same big hoop. i am now using that hoop for the first time and it wont fit on my machine? what am I missing?
I just got this model a month ago, I watched a few of your videos and yeah, I've made a lot of user errors you mentioned and for a second blamed the machine, lol. I'm getting there. Have you felt the need to buy different hoops besides the ones included?
Yes. At first i said i would never pay that much money for mighty hoops but ever since I tried my first one I will probably never use the hoops that came with my machine again. Ever. Ever like for real. Never. I think I have a little over $1600 in mighty hoops. Once you have the business and you use one. You will never go back. If you have multiple machines you need two of each hoop for each machine or each head. When you do large orders it makes everything so fast and easy. I will always use mighty hoops. Always.
I recently got the EM1010 embroidery machine..on top of lousy customer service I am having difficulty with my stitches...I import a design and when I go to run it the stitches are not smooth, they are spaced out and not close together...can you tell me why this might be happening?
If the stitches are spaced out and not close together that a digitizing issue. Increase the density of the areas that are spaced out to close the spaces. Definitely not a machine issue. You experienced bad customer service? Give me some context I’d like to know what happened.
@@adubbproductions I'm pretty excited. I read on the forums where they bash Ricoma, but I watch youtube Ricoma videos from customers and see nothing but positivity. The hate is real. I can't wait to add embroidery to my screen printing operation.
Same thing I saw before I got mine. I was attracted to the customer support aspect. I thought to myself why would they give lifetime support if it didn’t work. I was sold at lifetime support.
What are the recommended service intervals for this machine? Do you have to call a technician to come do it, if so, what would one expect to spend for this (approximately)? Also, what is the warranty this machine comes with? Good video. 😎 👍👍👍👍👍
Good questions honestly dude why even do that to urself and have to hire someone do something that u can learn yourself from TH-cam tear down videos if u can understand the schematics and how the machine works from inside out u will never need anybody to come and tell u wats wrong , buy a broken one maybe or one for parts learn how every piece operates and functions and ppl will call u to fix there machine ! Because just like the maker does. we must tear apart ourselves to find out what and how everything that makes the machine do what it does work
It’s the MT-1501 and it’s 16.1k. Not 100% sure though. Could be a little lower now but that is how much I purchased mine for. They just dropped the view one so this may have dropped a little in price. If you’d like to find out or inquire. Here is my affiliate link. Ricoma MACHINE Link ricoma.com/US/referral/allan-wade
It all depends. If you are trying to start an embroidery business yes. If you just wanna make a few things here and there and dabble to see if you like it definitely not. To expansive to play games. These machines are for business not okay. If you wanna start a business and you are dedicated to taking the time out Toto learn your machine and you think you might enjoy it then I’d say go for it.
Hi. How do you frame that large hoop that went over your body into the ricoma? I’m having trouble with it. I have the ricoma mt 1501. Please help. Thank you so much!! Bell
It’s easy you hoop the garment the same way you would hoop any other garment. Lay it on top or the outer part of the hoop then put the inner part of the hoop on top, push down on all sides and screw it in.
I work doing embrodery as my fulltime. We have 29 heads through 5 machines. 12 head Tijima, 8 head tijima, 4 head Ricoma, 4 head bareudon, and a 1 head tijima. Love my job small lovely team GF as my production manager. Love watching videos on how to make our machines run better. Over the last 4 months since starting at the shop and testing tension, cutting blades, machine parameters can say all of our machines run so much better then when I started 5 months ago. But is there such thing as a 100% no issue machine. I still constantly check tension blades ect. Everything looks amd feels great but still get small issues odd catipillars, thread breaks. We are currently working on a 4000pc order with only 2 weeks to do it since the last place they went bailed out 2 weeks before needing it done and I feel like if it werent for my playing around with machines we would of been down a few heads since it would of been more efficient keeping them off then having them constant false thread break or real thread break. But we have all 29 heads going at once no issues. Not having to jump from machine to machine. Its so satisfying I dont watch the clock before I know it its 430 and off at 4 still needing to clean and oil the machines.
Awesome testimony. I really really appreciate that. Thank you for sharing. Great encouragement. I am gonna double down in another two head very soon. I love embroidery.
@@adubbproductions It literally feels like a hobby but getting paid to do it. I go home and watch videos on how to brush ul on my skills my partner embroderist really knows the digitizing side of things and really good at fixing mistakes, ripouts, lining up. You are always learning and problem solving. So many different factors the disign itself, machine it can get frustrating when on a time crunch and due dates but if you stay cool and collective and know that you will get issues just know where to look first quick fixes, thread path, tension, bobbin ect. With age things wear out blades, timing, needles, even thread. We have a 4 head bareuden that is 25 years old and it runs really good. But we do have techs come in and do maintance every 3 and 12 months. Bit with daily oiling and weekly deep oiling and cleaning they should last a long time.
@@adubbproductions Would highly recomend inbesting in atleast an 8 head Tijima. It is amazing great way to pump out larger jobs a quicker pace. You will be ahead of alot of the comp the more heads you have the better. Can get those just bigger jobs that will help pay off the price and garentee better turn over times. Baseball teams, marketing groups that corps hire to deal with apparel and marketing, local businesses. We use our 1 head mostly for custom apparel different name on each garment different colour ect. Or smaller order larger orders on the bigger machines.
@@treynolds94 on step at a time. I don’t have room for an 8 head. But when and if I decide to get that many heads in one unit it won’t be a Tajima. They don’t do anything better than any other machine that justifies the price. I can buy two and a half 8 head Ricoma’s for the price of 1 8 head Tajima. I ran the new two head Tajima with the infra red stop system a few months ago. Was not impressed at all. I ran about 50 hats. Not impressed with that brand at all. Just curious, what is the price of a 8 heads Tajima?
@@adubbproductions but just curious with how well you take care of your machine and test and look over things do you still get random small issues. I keep getting in my head wondering if every machine on amy kind of design will have minor issues. Maybe none on one run but a couple thread breaks on the next ect. I am.getting to the point where there are so many variables that its going to happen and no machine or design is 100%.
Greetings DUBB i have been following your chanel. Thanks for the cool advices, tips and encouragements. Please can you do a video on how to do embroidery on ricoma using the long rectangular flat hoop? It will help some of us back here in Cameroon. Thanks.

Yes!!! an embroidery hoop with No size restrictions !!!
It’s big but it still has restrictions. But you should be able to embroider most large items.
God bless your business 🙏🏼 thanks for be honest and motivate ♥️
Hi I'm Linda I have been listening to you on TH-cam all day long you have sold me I am truly interested in running my own business I'm 66 I don't want to work for anyone else and this is right up my alley I would love to get involved with this I want the Mt 1501... thank you so much .God bless you .. now let me see if I can get this financed and get the ball rolling will let you know thank you so much
No problem. Thanks for watching. Don’t forget to use my affiliate link Linda.
This is exactly why I don't trust these machines. Everyone who makes videos on them is affiliated
Good stuff Bro, I wouldn't mind daily videos on this machine 😃
Well, you are definitely gonna see a lot more in-depth content on this machine. More so about functionality than designs for now.
Appreciate it, am working my way up to it.
I’m on the move making shirts for this ammunition company and I have the personal brother machine but this will be my next purchase I promise. You have a new sub and pupil, thank you so much!
Just brought my machine 🎉🎉🎉 So I’m bing watching all your videos ..keep making them ❤️
Awesome. Did you use my affiliate link? If not can you give them a call please and put my name on that order?!? Thank you. 😁
How much did your machine cost?
Thank you ,thank you, thank you, I have had my machine for awhile and have not had the nerve to use it yet, lol. You have truly been a God send to show how easy it is to use and I have been digitizing for a long time. ( I need to make a a web site). I love having my machine now.
I problem thank you fir watching. If you have any suggestions or issue you might be having let me know. I’ll make a video on it if I haven’t already. I have find doing and showing. It really runs smooth when you have the dials set in and your embroidery file done right. You will see. Congrats. Now go make some money.
I really like and appreciate you, you really keep it real. I have the em1010, I am still learning.
Thank you
Yeah, that was a nice job you did demonstrating this machine. Thanks.
No problem.
When you put the hoop around your waist I died laughing 😂 but that was a great example
Had to get creative with it and show how large that hoop is you know. 🙃🙂
Love it how your so straight out ! But hey can this machine work on hard hats 🧢 with it the out the clip on the back ? Thicker hats
Look at this . th-cam.com/video/lW9-8XssKOk/w-d-xo.html
@@adubbproductions will do.. can u let me know an average on deposit??
I really have no idea. I did the 0% financing option though. No deposit required. The options are based on your credit or you can just pay outright. Which makes no sense financially if you can hold onto your money and pay overtime with 0% on-top.
I don't have a ricoma I have a bai. But I definitely need to start putting it to work.
Do u like Bai?

There was actually a decimal point in the middle. That’s why it didn’t move at first.
Boom wait a minute just like that
You ready? Wait a minute.
New , here to show support. I want to get this and make anime clothing. Thanks for the inspiration, going watch your videos to learn. Once I learn I’ll use your link
Which brand of caps do you recommend?
Thats funny bc my living room is not a living rm anymore...the only thing left is 1 couch & im bout to take that out to take the rest of my equipment out of my bed rm. Everyone said im crazy...I need a shed or store front.
I’ll take machines in the living room and an extra income anyway over a tv and couches.
bro got the hardest intro i swear lol
What brand thread and bobbin thread do you prefer ?
I use maderia thread and generic sidless bobbin thread from amazon.
I have a small business with the se600 and i don't have embroidery supplies but I already have orders
@@adubbproductions thank you ,actually I bought the supplies and they are shipping😀😀

Thank you so much for the information my brother. I always want to be involved with this type of business. I think is super cool. I have background and design and marketing.
Very good information .
Can this machine do custom biker patches?
Yes it can. For your colors right? That’s one of its specialties.
I have the same embroidery machine and it came with the same big hoop. i am now using that hoop for the first time and it wont fit on my machine? what am I missing?
Did you adjust the arms? You have to put the right and left side at its widest point. I’ve definitely used mine. It fits.
How big is this machine what is the measurement can you tell me please I wanted to know if takes backspace
Always.
Got those guns blazing 💪🏿
💪🏾💪🏾💪🏾💪🏾 shots fired.
How's the machine and customer service working for you? I'm planning on purchasing the 1501 next month. Do work
Customer service is excellent. Machine is working great. They follow up after you when you have a call with surveys.
I like your videos 👍
Thank you. 🙏🏾
I have a question about copyright. Does it apply when making stuff like sports
Copywriter always applies when selling. When making for educational purposes or self use purposes the rules are different.
Hey brother does your digitalization?
I do my digitizing.
What are the recommended service intervals for this machine? Do you have to call a technician to come do it, if so, what would one expect to spend for this (approximately)?
Also, what is the warranty this machine comes with?
Good video.

👍👍👍👍👍
Good questions honestly dude why even do that to urself and have to hire someone do something that u can learn yourself from TH-cam tear down videos if u can understand the schematics and how the machine works from inside out u will never need anybody to come and tell u wats wrong , buy a broken one maybe or one for parts learn how every piece operates and functions and ppl will call u to fix there machine ! Because just like the maker does. we must tear apart ourselves to find out what and how everything that makes the machine do what it does work
Yo man make me laugh all the time God bless you I like your shows and tips and ideas you just like me like the machines toys our toys😂
Thank you. Thanks for watching.
Thanks for the video and information. I like your positive, If I can do it, you can do it approach/attitude.
Around how much does this awesome machine cost 💲 ???
I finished mine for 16.1k with 0 percent financing.
What model is this one and What is the price on this machine?
It’s the MT-1501 and it’s 16.1k. Not 100% sure though. Could be a little lower now but that is how much I purchased mine for. They just dropped the view one so this may have dropped a little in price. If you’d like to find out or inquire. Here is my affiliate link. Ricoma MACHINE Link ricoma.com/US/referral/allan-wade
Is it worth it for a person with no experience to get the commercial machine???
It all depends. If you are trying to start an embroidery business yes. If you just wanna make a few things here and there and dabble to see if you like it definitely not. To expansive to play games. These machines are for business not okay.
If you wanna start a business and you are dedicated to taking the time out Toto learn your machine and you think you might enjoy it then I’d say go for it.
That’s a beast!
It really is.
Hi. How do you frame that large hoop that went over your body into the ricoma? I’m having trouble with it. I have the ricoma mt 1501. Please help. Thank you so much!!

It’s easy you hoop the garment the same way you would hoop any other garment. Lay it on top or the outer part of the hoop then put the inner part of the hoop on top, push down on all sides and screw it in.
Here you are, I used the large hoop in this video to show you. It’s close to the middle of the video I think. th-cam.com/video/9EUzGpbwBh8/w-d-xo.html
What Laser cutter do you use for your patches?
Greetings DUBB i have been following your chanel. Thanks for the cool advices, tips and encouragements. Please can you do a video on how to do embroidery on ricoma using the long rectangular flat hoop? It will help some of us back here in Cameroon. Thanks.
How do you digitize? How do u creat designs on the machine. I have the em1010
