What if you simply do not want to grow old and frail? What if you simply want to control how and when you die ? I honestly think this option should apply to more than just the terminally I'll people. To me wasting away in a nursing home or stuck to a bed all day is worse than death.
@@TryingtoTellYou It is possible in some countries like Canada and the Scandanavian countries. Different countries create different "realities" for their citizens.
This. I'd argue this is the most important thing we as a species can have, where we should be allowed to decide when we die and how. It's messed up we force people to live a painful existence (either physically or mentally) and keep forcing them to live even if they've already decided living is no longer for them.
None of us were given the choice to be born, so forcing us to stay alive against our will is messed up. It should be our choice when we die and have the means to live out our final days the way we want. Forcing someone to stay alive for any reason is horrible and takes away the ultimate freedom we have.
This is utterly disgusting and such a sad moment of our everyday lives. I can’t believe I’m living in the same world with people that would rather end people instead of improving on making healthcare crucial and an importance! 😔
While people should be granted improved Healthcare and quality of life, it's extremely difficult to implement (we would have it already if it's so easy). It can't he guaranteed to work. At the very least, people can be offered an option to have a back door out of their misery.
We want people to choose when they wish to die, and if they want to die, it should be their right to end it on their terms instead of forcing them to live a life they don't want. No one chose to be born, we were forced into it, so allowing us to end it the way we wish should be available to all. You are selfish and greedy for forcing people to stay alive against their will and making them continue to suffer all so you can feel better about your own pathetic life.
This is what happens when people don't actually bother to improve their mental healthcare facilities and actually try to help people. I get that assisted dying would make sense when someone is terminally ill, but allowing people to just die just because they wanted to? Isn't this the same thing we have been trying to prevent for decades through mental health programs???
You are making a claim that the only kind of person who would want to die has to be mentally ill. This is tautological. What if someone just weighs out the positives and negatives in life and thinks that death is preferable to life? What right have you to tell another person whether they should live or die? Should people live for your sake?
When you send a soldier to war. .. he signs the line knowing he may die. And believe me we think of this when we land. We dont have fear of what you find the most fearful. Where is your faith? Nah people in these comments rly saying to just let people die if they depressed. Like bro? U guys talking as if depression is not a LITERAL MENTAL ILLNESS.
So if it is a "literal mental illness" and some people are incurable, obviously, then why not let them go? All depression cannot be cured, did you know that?
I'd argue some people want to die not even because they're depressed but because they want to go out on their terms. Hell, how would you feel if all of a sudden, you woke up to realize life is just an endless loop where you repeat the same thing day in and day out over and over and over and over and over until you finally die? Seriously, all life is is wake up, eat, go to work, come home, sleep, rinse and repeat. Sure, you'll have a few additional things added in, but chances are your day to day life is the same repetitive ordeal, where the only reason you don't realize it is because other things are blinding you from the fact your life like everyone else's is essentially pointless. I mean hell, humanities only purpose is to procreate and die, where we have to give ourselves some made up purpose just to not feel like living is worthless, and yet you think living this repetitive circle of a dull existence is worth it?
We were forced into this world, why shouldn't we have the option to opt out on our own terms?

Why should someone be forced to live if they don't want to no matter what?

Who's extending someone's life expectancy? I did not realize it was against the law not to get hospital treatment lol.

Never feel panicked most people don’t know what is going on anyway so English not being your first language probably won’t matter.
